BUTTER/CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy.
AMBER ~ Fertility, creativity, love, luck, riches.
MUSK ~ Self confidence and strength, sexual attractant, heightens passions and arousal.

Mmm, creamy sophisticated floral!! The wisteria in this is bringing up memories of Papal Purple, and the peony is causing a huge sensory flashback to childhood -- I can see pink petals with fresh dew on them when I sniff this! The butter/cream and sugar notes in no way make this foodie; they are about sweetness and texture. This feels really congruent with Gotcha! -- it's sensuous in way that seems subtle but also kind of knocks your socks off, albeit with an elegant flourish. I'm really eager to see what happens with this one over the next few hours.

This is a true floral to my nose! It's not soapy clean or anything like that, just flowers, like a beautiful fresh bouquet placed on the center of the table - a gift for valentine's day permeating it's pleasantness all through the house ^_^ This is not a me scent, but it IS a very pretty floral, just gorgeous really. There's a - creamy? - undertone to it as well. Maybe the amber and butter/cream combo? I can absolutely see some of the forum folk going head over heels for this one

I don't really get any floral from this - more like an undertone in the wet stage. On me this is Pink Frosting Follies which then dries down to a smooth sweet skin-scent kind of aura. Pink lovers will really like it, I think, it has a youthful vibe like Mara intended.

When I first smelled this, I was also smacked upside the head by a wave of nostalgia, it reminded me so much of *something* that I loved waaayyy back in the day, but I have not a clue what it might be! :Emoticons04280:

It's not overtly floral, nor is it foody. It does give me a vibe of pink-purple sophistication, compelling me to keep reaching for my vial to have another sniff. I might have to get a FB of this one, too!

This is sweet, pink and girlish. My first thought when I smelled this was actually jelly beans, that's how sweet it was, but I quickly noticed the orchid. It is soft and velvety, and the peony is a tart kiss on top. I love the butter note in this. It's very rich. Not quite like how rich it was in Pumpkin Souffle last year, but richer than it typically appears. It really ties things together. And the musk is a wonderful skin like one. it doesn't morph much on me. It's been wearing pretty much the same since i put it on just after 6a this morning, and it wears close to the skin. Very pretty!

I love Gotcha so I already was very excited to try this... So far, I like it a lot... It's very pretty, girly and so soft. I'm getting a slightly creamy floral. Like flower petals glazed in sugar crystals. The more I huff this, the more I like it. I can see guys liking this on a girl because it's so utterly girly-girl and feminine.

This smells so good in the vial....still good on my skin, but I seem to amp the sugar a tad. This may be the pheromones talking but....full bottle anyway! Lol.

There are so few scents out there with wisteria, only one of my favorite florals ever, so of course I had to get a bottle of this straight away. The wisteria definitely makes itself known, as I'd hoped for, but I can't discount the other lovely notes here either. There is plenty of peony too, pink but not too sugary, just like the flower (we grow them so I know a good peony scent when I smell one), and an undercurrent of orchid. The sugar and cream notes are gentle enough to let the flowers shine though, but not overwhelm them. This is more of a sweet, creamy floral than a cakey scent like Whoopsie Daisycake, but equally lovely. And I really want every single piece of that outfit on the label, because it would make for some awesome cosplay.

So here I was, 7 am, in my early morning haze with my 17 bottle sampler set next to my bed. I go rooting around it in the semi-dark and pull out the one with the woman wearing the black shiny corset thingee, thinking this was Dom Noire, and slathered generously. Immediately I'm thinking to myself: "ummm ok something is very wrong here, it's not black...it's..and then I sort of drift off into this heavenly floral-not-floral space and hit the snooze button a couple of times....promising myself that I would figure out what the heck I had just applied to myself.

I thought I was a floral-phobic. I even got rid of my L'eau de Orchide. But this has almost an oriental floral vibe to it for me. I'm glad it came in the sampler, and I'm glad I reached for it by mistake. Sometimes a woman needs to be kinda hit over the head to be shown what's good for her, yanno ? I'm wearing it on the back of my hand as I write this, and every sentence I'm lifting my hand and indulging. I swear I can feel my neurons rewiring themselves. This is brain therapy !

The other really wicked thing about this is the Gotcha! I already have the LP Exotica with this pheroblend, but that one is less subtle than this. There are separate threads where we discuss the ins and outs of that phero blend; suffice to say I find it fascinating for my selfies.

Delightful!!!! This makes me want to spin around in a meringue tutu. It smells like a raspberry swirl creme saver looks. It is in the same family to me as things like Candytuft Tea and Goodie Tooshu -- that irrepressible, grinning, springlike, and very bright yet folded into thick frothy creaminess. Love

I tested this in the sample, then went FB on instinct and all reviews.

I am a floral-phobe (unless it's plumeria or something like that), but the sugar and other notes swirl together to make a truly sweet lovely scent. The name for this is perfect. And this is also my first testing of gotcha in any form - loving that too! (I just got the Gotcha in trial size but haven't had opp for full testing).

I get a hint of floral, but like others have noted, this is very sweet, pink, and youthful scent. Also happy and uplifting. I think gotcha is perfect matching too. And I need to read more about that phero bc the selfies are different from other blends for me. (Thanks for that info andro!)

WOW all around.

I ordered a full bottle unsniffed, just based on the notes and reviews, and I'm soooooo glad I did!

This is right up my alley. When wet, it's floral, almost green. As it dries, it reminds me of a Taste of Luxury and LP White. It's a less creamy, sweeter LP White, but very soft, like sweet skin smell. The floral notes are just a very light touch when dry, if I didn't know they are supposed to be there, I probably wouldn't be able to pick them out. This is among my favorite LP scents for sure, and I think it is perfectly paired with Gotcha! :)

Now I'm even more eager to try it!! Peony does that to me too!

cutiepie - have you tried yet? I love this one, wondering if it worked for you. Hope you love it - it's pretty awesome.

.

Wore this again today, loving this even more. The name is perfect, along with Gotcha pairing. The only potential downside is I huff my arm constantly when wearing so I might accidentally OD on the Gotcha. I am not a floral person, and I find this scent to be complex in a good way. It's warm, bright, creamy, bubbly, light while still remaining grounded. I think the musk grounds it (probably along with the amber), keeping it close to the skin with good staying power.

I think the butter/ cream notes may be the other pairings that make this a rounded scent. It's a fairy goddess scent, in PINK genre but not a full on PINK and not a foodie. The sugar provides lushness. Going back to huffing my arm again - and yep, Gotcha has me in fantastic mood!

Delicious and lovely. Musk and gotcha gives it the perfect hint of naughty.

ETA: Gotcha is incredible mood booster for me, with even small amount. I apparently love everyone and everything while wearing this. Not a bad thing at all. :)

I didn't really like this at first but it has grown on me and now I love it. I think it must have had travel shock when I first tried it. It was more like a very sweet candied floral. Now it is more well rounded and so pretty. I like that it is sweet and a bit perfumey yet unobstrusive.

I love floral scents, and I jumped on this one when I saw it. But it's one of those rare florals that makes me feel a bit nauseated when I try to wear it. There's something in here that has a strong sickly sweet medicinal vibe that doesn't die down for me at all- it dominates the whole scent.

Which note would that be, does anyone know? Maybe the orchid?

It would be hard to say, IMO - sometimes it can be a very personalized reaction. I usually have a bad reaction to lily, for example, but it's not the fault of the note.

Thanks Luna. I keep trying to pin down this reaction to recurring floral notes, but so far it seems to have happened only with perfumes that contain entirely different ingredients. Makes it hard to know what to avoid.

I'm not normally a flower type girl but all this talk is making me want to dig out my vial.

It's been so dreary and cold here that a lovely bouquet of flowers may be just what's needed!

I haven't really snuffled it since December so I'm curious to see how it's settling. A beautiful spring bouquet in the middle of winter - poo-poo on that stupid rodent groundhog - I'm having spring today!

I love florals and sweet perfumes so I was sure I was going to love it..I was right! It is a sweet floral potion..very girly and innocent...everything blends together nicely on me and it has one of my favorite phero blends, Gotcha, so I had to get a fb of this! Luckily, I snagged one on the trade forum..:)

I'm wearing this today. I wasn't sure if I would like this as floral scents can sometimes turn a bit old lady on me but this hasn't. In fact like a lot of comments above it is not very floral on me at all but it is very sweet, creamy and pink. Not sure if I'd go FB on this one but I am considering adding another trial to my next order so I can wear it occasionally.

I wore this the other day to work (despite the cops). Upon application, I experienced almost a candied flower smell which I liked. Got to work, looked up the notes, and see it's not listed anymore for purchase! :Emoticons04284: Nothing but a sampler on the trade threads. The problem is I liked this the whole day through, that wonderful sweet fragrance which somehow seemed edible, and my first happy experience with Gotcha! It made me happy and I think I got my first DITH from a co-worker. It was pretty strong on me and lasted the whole day through. When I got home, my son came near, lifted my wrist and said "You smell good." Then, my husband said, "You do smell good!" And I said, "Well, this is it because it's sold out and no one has a bottle on the trade threads!". I can't believe I have had my sampler since Pheromas 2014 and sat on it this long until I wore it. It's because I did not realize I like Mara's florals and despite it smelling good from the sampler, I thought it should wait for spring to make it's appearance being floral and all. :Emoticons08045: Does anyone know if it's similar to anything else??? I may have to buy the similar sugared notes and concoct a mixture myself with unscented Gotcha! However, I am sure something similar will come along if I just wait it out. I am starting to think if there is any full bottle set to buy during the year, it is the November Pheromas set! I liked all but one which the husband ironically did like. Those dang cops!!!

I just looked on the Etsy site and it wasn't there for you! Try the trades. I am sure you can find a bottle. It's really, really sweet smelling. I got a lot of compliments on it, but it isn't my kind of scent.

You can try posting an ISO (in search of) thread in the Trading post.. sometimes someone will give up a bottle out of their stash for you. But yeah, I waited too long once to test a sample and it was sold out by the time I fell in love. Luckily I got enough samples to make my own bottle, plus I bought one from a generous forumite who answered my ISO.

Thanks, guys. I think I'll wait it out. I know all scents are unique, but something similar may come along and I'll keep a watch on the trades. I think I may be satisfied with an unscented Gotcha! that I can mix with everything else I already have. I am not sure if it was the actual scent or the Gotcha! that attracted me since it was the first time I wore Gotcha! :D I end up loving everything I smell anyway!

This is a creamy floral that doesn't go punchy (florals can sometimes slap me and make my nose hairs tingle). I think the peony and wisteria are calmed by the sugar, and amber/musky notes. The musk is velvety and the florals are prominent but not screechy. Love, love, love.

I remember watching the bottles dwindle down to only 3 before I had to break out of my budget and just buy a FB before they sold out! It's worth it, Siren Song! Just keep your eyes peeled in the Trades!

This one did not work out well for me either. I was very scent blind to the fragrance although other people told me that I smelled good. I didn't get any hits from men, but the hits I got from women were very catty. I let my mom try this one and she got nice hits from it.

Tried this one out yesterday. It's like Hearts & Tyvey say on me: super duper girly swirly pinkly twinkly. It's soooo preeeeety. I enjoy it, it has that shiny and new thing again from the orchid(adds a gloss to things, in my mind), and the peony is so pink and unabashedly feminine. Take these flowers and further gussy em up with sparkly pink sugar and sheer skin musk, and there ya go. I wish I got more purple in here, but the wisteria isn't showing up much for me. Not much cream either, just a tad at the end, after it's been on my skin for a few hours.

It does stay put quite well, I could smell it on my hand for over half the day, even through hand washings, but it doesn't throw very far. I can't speak for phero effects, cause I didn't go anywhere yesterday, but I was in a pretty good mood yesterday, so maybe thats something. I'm not heartbroken over missing a FB of this, but I'm glad to have a large sample of it!

Edit because my computer changed Tyvey's name!

I found this yesterday and honestly had no recollection of it at all! I've got a cold but I could certainly smell it, it smelled very sweet and fruity to my nose, I had no idea what phero was in it so I just tested a teeny dab, but lo and behold that gotcha magic saw me able to make it with two kids to the supermarket even though I had been feeling really ill. Yay gotcha!

My impression was of hard candies, fruity ones!

I had a sample of this in my stash, and I can't remember if I ever tried it....

It is *gorgeous*!!

It reminds me a lot of LP Pink, but with some nice, fresh flowers added; florals tend to get a bit screechy on me, but this one just melts into my skin until I feel like a lush, fresh - actually, I mistyped that as 'flesh', so let's go with that; a lush, fleshy, gorgeous, dewy flower!

Got some sweets hits from it as well; the flower guy gave me a 6th plant for free with the 5 that I bought, and then someone else struck up a conversation when I walked home through the park, complimenting me on my (very long) hair (he himself was shaved bald, which suited him very well).

Cute guy, we chatted for a few minutes, then I went on my way again.

He was at least 20 years younger than me... :D

Seriously, what is it with people asking me if I'm a student??

I am nearly 50, peri-menopausal, rather overweight at the moment, and my hair is around 50% grey....

I was wearing a long, hugely oversized cotton dress (all my clothes were getting too tight and uncomfortable, but with this dress I was overcompensating a bit) and 'granola' sandals, no makeup, etc.

I live close to the university & student housing, they are everywhere here, and I do Not look like a student - more like a student's mom! ;)

@ssupytalp  What a great review! Sounds like you need to get some more scents with Gotcha! ;)

Haha, well, I do have a bottle (or two... possibly three!) of Exotica with Gotcha, which I also love very much.

That is more of a dark, evening-scent though; this is much more light and innocent!
