I just love when Mara makes a champagne infused scent!!!

This one does not disappoint. Gorgeous rose with Oakmoss! (Swoon) frank and myrrh!? It's so smooth and sexy. Maybe the same musk as in Sparkle Frost? Not sure. Something is reminding me of that one but I can't rememeber why. This is a party scent but the musk and Oakmoss make it stay home and cuddle worthy too. This one is really going to draw people into you even WITHOUT the pop potion! I imagine it will be absolutely irresistible with the phero!! Cannot WAIT to wear this out.

Oh you make this sound so good. I was curious about this one. Mara never misses when a scent is paired with pop potion.

Okay I am not going to lie, the initial blast of this is total mother and daughter in Grey Gardens, very rose forward and almost like roses were trapped in a closet with minks and hats for a long period of time... BUT as the scent starts to blend and live with my chemistry that fades away and I get an oakmoss house with little rose turrets throughout. The champagne is starting to come out a bit. Very unusual but charming! Lol.

At first sniff, there's something about this which reminds me a lot of Bacchanalia - and I mean beyond just the boozy accord. Like the combination of that with musk, maybe. For me, the rose sort of floats in the background, it's an interesting impression. After a while, the sweet aspect of the blend coalesces - again, in the background - and there's a powdery finish. Alcohol-type notes tend to be really blatant on my skin, so I imagine this impression is limited to me. I like the crisp champagne aspect, it reminds me of Elan Vitale, for example, but I wish the rose was a little stronger on me.

Yeah I imagine if I layered it with a more rose-centric scent then it would give me the balance I want, since I generally tend to prefer a strong rose note.

I didn't really like this much upon first test but I've worn this for the first time all day today and I LOVE IT!

The rose is prominent but not overpowering. It mingles beautifully with the oakmoss, sandalwood, musk and smoke to create a sort of creamy feel. I just can't stop sniffing it! I haven't found that it changes much on dry down but I have only worn it today. It's wonderfully blended and one of my current favourite perfumes. The only drawback is that it seems to not have great staying power. Not that I care too much. I may well but more of this with my next order if there is any left.

Rose and I have never been close friends  So of course that's the most distracting note for me. The other notes do tame it and tone it down, but it is definitely a rose fragrance. The other notes give it an earthiness that is REALLY appealing to me, but I just can't get around the rose. I will at least give my sample a fair shake but will leave this one for others who adore rose a bit more than I do

I wanted to really like this as all the notes sound so good, but unfortunately, it came out as a bum like smell on me :nope02716:

Not cute at all lol

I think it was the rose /sigh

So sad cause I really wanted to like this, but my body chem was not having it haha.

I actually really liked this! I am not a rose person, but I get a tangy rose from this. And I smell the champagne which is hard to describe...bright and sparkly? Maybe I am perceiving the champagne as the tanginess of the rose. All the good notes are in this one, too. It does lose its staying power, I had to apply more than usual. As far as Popularity Potion...there was lively chatter at lunch out with co-workers and visitors in my cube later, so maybe it does contribute to you being the center of attention. I think it is aptly named, like you are sprinkled with Rose Dust that makes you sparkle just a bit more than everyone else! Getting a FB if I can.

This one is incredibly tempting! I held off from getting a bottle this round, because I know myself and there just won't be many opportunities for me to wear this.... but hot damn, for those moments this is just amazing! It's got a wonderful fizzy sparkle from the fermented alcohols, and then the smoke/vanilla/oakmoss/musk/resins just makes for a spectacularly sophisticated silken bed for the rose to dazzle from. I've never tried Pop Potion before and the selfies were fantastic. So yeah, if supplies last.... I bet this would be out of this world in a spray.

Ok...I would like to talk about my experience wearing this fragrance out and about. First let me talk about the scent on me. My body chemistry LOVES this blend. The champagne really stands out on me, and the rose is very sweet smelling but still very much rose. It is a beautiful scent.

Now for my pheromone experience. This is the first one I "road tested" lol. Self-effects, I kind of wanted to dress up a little more than I usually would on a weekend day, full makeup...more "diva-ish". Hits; 2 men doing a double-take back to back, one looked like he couldn't help himself. Around other women it became a mix between a STATUS and SOCIAL blend, as if they were pausing to see if I was going to be snotty or nice, then once I was nice, they were nice. Now this didn't work with every woman. Some looked downright jealous, I was a little surprised about that.

I went to a place where very snotty, well-to-do people usually congregate and it was like we were "old friends" they were the most WELCOMING, which was shocking. It was like they were saying "you're one of us"...very strange. But I was my usually upbeat self while experiencing this. Also, there was a lot of deference behavior, from people who seemed like they would not defer to me. A very Statusy blend...first STATUS then SOCIAL...I hope this makes sense to you guys...ok next up I test my Open Windows blend...although I might order a Full Bottle of this one... :-)

Tried my sample today. The notes are very well blended & it's hard to pick out anything except the champagne. Even in dry down, it's still this way. I would like a full bottle, if I wasn't already stocked up enough w/ LPs & pheromones to last me through a Walking Dead style apocalypse.

:magicstick: Am really enjoying this! I've been trying to figure out how to describe it coherently, but just cannot do it. So: I get rose-ish, sweet, rich, sparkliness for quite a while...after which it gets all soft and pillowy...and at extreme drydown I have beautiful oakmoss. Every phase smells wonderful! Add the phero, and it's a total WIN! :)

I didn't go full bottle with this one because I was scared of the smoke & myrrh notes. I tend to amp smoke & spice/herby notes to nauseating levels. I don't get any smoke with this one though. Unfortunately I don't get much more than a subtle hint of the rose in the background which is disappointing to my rose loving nose :(

I seem to amp what's probably the alcoholic beverage note. It completely dominates the scent with an almost ginger like quality. It's a bit like Effervescence. It's not as light and fresh as Effervescence though which I think is probably the myrrh and musk. The rose does come out a touch more after dry down, but the boozy ginger note still dominates. I think if I were to wear this I'd have to go very light on the Rose Dust and slather on Sugared Roses to maie it more of a Rosebud scent. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely fragrance, just not very me.
