I am sooooo happy this is back, one of Mara's all-time greatest men's scents (and I love to wear it too)!

I concur - this is one of the best I have tried here!

Edit:

This is an evening or cold weather kind of scent. It comes across as very spicy on my skin - imagine a Middle East spice bazaar. The amber and musk give this scent a good depth while the different spices give it very good sharp little edges. I can just pick up the tea in the background.

Luna's comment below about this making her think of sex in a spice bazaar is very accurate. The <3 Throb pheromone mix is a very strong sexual mix. It has also been a very successful pheromone mix for me with my wife. It is what i consider a slightly tricky sexual mix because it has copulins in it. When a guy wears this it gives of the impression that you have just recently gotten some. Recent enough that people and in particular women can pick up the scent. Women seem to be a little more sensitive to in the sense that not only can the detect the scent but they consciously know what it is. You have been with a woman very recently. This can work for or against you. Some women might pick up the scent and decide you are a man-whore and stay away. Your wife or girlfriend might pick-up the scent and wonder who the hell you have been with. But a lot of times, it seems to send off the signal that you are the kind of guy who is in high demand - a pheromone-based indicator of "high value" if it were. So women decide that you must have some good things going for you and are a little more receptive. But this is also a mix where more is not better. I use 6-8 inches. Any more and the Mrs. becomes very quiet. Again - pheromones only crack the door open for you - getting yourself through the door is up to you.

This scent is well worth two full bottles.

Pashazade is not work safe. Unless you are a sex worker or male stripper. Then go for it. But if you work in an office, save this for after work.

I wore this today in the morning for a bit, as it popped out at me. I dabbed a tiny bit on my wrist. This scent has HUGE throw and the smell is incredible sexy and to me smells a bit like fresh cut wood and some greens, watered down by a not to fragrant floral.

It's sharper and crispier to me than it's predecessor, which is not a bad thing. I really do like this for the holidays, I want to wear my Bfs flannel, this and sexy satin panties. It smells very masculine but I would totally rock this if I wanted to smell like my boyfriend. It's undeniably male and sexy. Very very sexy. Must be the cops that was making the clam throb with desire to ravage the bf.

I think that may be because it's freshly-brewed. Otherwise, to me, it's exactly the same as the original, YAY!

I loooove anything with bergamot. I'm going to be interested to see, when I get my little bottle, how the ginger plays with the bergamot and tea leaves. The description of the scents evokes a picture of having sex in the middle of stonehenge on one of the solstices. I wonder if it'll smell like that.

And that would also be good :) At least there's the feeling that you get to eat after the fireworks :D

Definitely seconding your review LadyV... I LOVE this on My Beloved! This is a definite FB for him. Extremely sexy, extremely masculine (hee, just like My Beloved!). I love the exotic spicy feel of the scent... and, even though it has the tea leaves (for that tobacco-like scent), I think the tea leaves combined with cedar makes it smells so clean on his skin (in a bad boy-clean kind of way... not a soapy/detergent way).

Definitely a FB for My Beloved!

So I put this on my arms to test it out.

Sniffing the sample, it's very heavy on the clove even after shaking it for 30-40 seconds.

Put a dabber on each forearm above my wrist and have been testing it every few minutes.

On me, it stays heavily clove-y, to the point of drawing a couple of sneezies, however after five minutes the white cedar and bergamot are coming through equally.

I'm hoping as time passes, the clove will settle down a bit. It's actually starting to smell really delicious: spicy and sugary at the same time, with a dry hardwood forest background.

Boyfriend didn't want to try this because of the smell in the bottle, but now I'm thinking he's going to get a bunch put on and we'll see what's what.

Cedar=girl woodie

First sniff on skin this is very tea-like, but warms up fast to let the spiciness through. My lovely bf took to this right away (I made a spray sample for him) and has been spraying with abandon each morning, and sometimes before bed too. It definitely gets sweeter over time, which I like. Mood wise, I think Heart Throb perks him up, but I think it makes me want to jump on him, and if we're not intimate and he falls asleep I think it might make me feel a bit neglected, but this may just be down to hormonal craziness. I do think it makes me feel happier for him to be dominant, and him more likely to BE dominant. I'm going to get him a proper bottle next.

This has turned into a favorite for me to wear, certainly before bed but I also could smell it when I went out to breakfast.

It's definitely got a warm and mysterious woman vibe to it (or mysterious man depending on who's wearing it.)

I need to get some more. My sample is all gone :( boo.

Typing this as I enjoy the aroma of my sample, just a little dab on either side of my neck. Have not tried it in public yet, but I could wear this every day. Really digging it!

Is there a section of the forums where we request re-makes? I'd like to put a vote in for Pashazade sans pheromones. Would totally buy a full bottle. Yum.

Wore Pashazade to an outdoor Halloween party last week. Dressed as Evel Knievel (which may or may not be pertinent...). My wife was out of town, but it's a big annual event with lots of good friends in attendance so I went alone and had a blast.

At one point in the evening, I complimented a lady I didn't know on her awesome woodland nymph costume. She thanked me and said my costume looked smooth and silky; and she bet they'd feel nice as PJs in bed. She was there with her husband and two kids, and we live in different towns, so I felt safe with any flirting she may or may not have been throwing my way. She also told me up front that she had met my wife before, and that she thought she was really cool.

Given all of the above, she continued to subtly reel in the distance between us while continuing to smile, face me directly, and maintain eye contact. She was really attractive and a great conversationalist, so I was quite frankly basking in the glow of her attention.

Her husband called over to her from his conversation circle that it was time to leave. Just a 'let's round up the kids' kind of heads-up. She said OK, but kept talking. He ended up calling over to her three times before she apologized to me for having to leave and said goodbye.

So maybe it was my Evel Knievel costume, or my charming personality, but my un-scientific opinion is that it was the Pashazade.

Full bottle ordered this morning. Not because of the story I just told you; but because I love to smell like...whatever is in there.

EDIT for addition of this question: I read that it's advised to avoid applying pheromones containing copulins to the chest, neck and face areas due to the fact that some people could interpret the wearer as being unclean.

Does the same advice apply for fragranced pheros that contain copulins? EG: Pashazade contains Heart Throb, which contains copulins.

Got it. Thanks for the advice, Mara.

I'm still in novice mode; want to apply to the most exterior body parts, then proceed to wave or waft them at everyone around me. Smell meeee (Exaggerating. But only slightly.)

I have been fascinated by all of the descriptions and comments about Pashazade so much that even though my partner really doesn't like wearing fragrance, I might at least get a trial size for ME. It just sounds so beautiful and exotic.

I've been wanting to get another bottle of this one. It does smell very exotic (and very beautiful).

Don't. Send. Your. Man. To. Work. Wearing. This.

oof, baby this is a hardcore makeout potion right there. I get caraway, tea and cedar, with the caraway being prominent in the first couple of minutes. As the scent dries down it sweetens up a bit with the myrrh and probably amber making themselved noticed. A little goes a long way, and it really is a goddamn sexy perfume even withput any pheros.

With the phero? I took a whiff of this potent scent from my man's chest and was like "oh, baby..."

DON'T wear this to work unless you're planning to get laid.

Def. A future FB.

The cinnamon, cloves and ginger really come out on my skin withthe amber wrapping everything up nicely. This scent is absolutely a love, although it seems far more suitable for the fall and winter. I'll keep it in mind to purchase a full bottle around then.

Well, everybody’s tastes are different. That’s why Mara makes such a big selection of scents. My boyfriend wears this and it smells amazing on him - deep and sexy. If you’re not into this type of scent, check the notes and reviews out before you buy. Watch for descriptions of incensey, exotic, etc.
