So this review is going to suck because I can't even find the words. I just can't. This is like New and Lavender Marshmallow HW and Beautiful Dreamer had a gorgeous silky powdery little baby. I love this lavender and I honestly haven't liked one for about a year. In fact this might be my favorite LP of the last year. I'm going to need multiple bottles of this. I've had my package for three hours and haven't even opened any of the other potions because I can't bear to smell anything besides this. Mara told me I was going to love this one and I do. Deeply, madly, instantly.

I just put this on as well. Thank the gods for balm bomb because it is the only thing stopping me from murdering the bf in his sleep. He caught the deadly man flu (aka a cold) and has been unbearably petulant all day.

Oh, the scent. Much like beautiful dreamer but less stabby and with a hint of lemon. Very powdery and nice. And it has balm bomb. Thank you Jesus and Mara for balm bomb.

Instant love.

I often don't like Lavender because it can be very assaulting to my nose. That is how Beautiful Dreamer was for me, too sharp.

This is much softer, calm soothing, vanilla powder. Yes, I'm going to want a bottle of this.

God this is absolutely amazing. I need this forever in my perfume colkection. It's the most perfect pale purple lavender. Like gentle puffs of lavender marshmallow clouds. This lav is not the medicinal type.

Not much else to my review... Which isn't that good. Only that it's my ideal lavender/vanilla relaxing and soothing potion. Tied with NEW, which is one of my favorite LPs ever.

ZOMG I love this so much. I think I may love it even more than Beautiful Dreamer, that's how good it is. The musk really adds an interesting character to it, I think, it's really warm on the bottom, just so compulsively sniffable, which of course makes it a perfect delivery system for Balm Bomb. But so velvety-soft and soothing, ahhhhhh. I have about a 1/4 of a bottle of Beautiful Dreamer left, so I need a bottle of this one stat!

This is Beautiful Dreamer softened up and sprinkled with sugar!

I really like it. This is a cozy pretty, female scent for relaxation and bedtime.

Makes me feel pretty and fluffed up. Like I'm one of the Bennet girls, all primped by my servant and ready for bed.

It has obvious similliar qualities to BD. But, BD has a different character On my skin BD is relaxing & very sensual. So much so I was driven to add cops to one of my bottles.

So glad Mara gave us a beautiful scent we can always count on  TY

Oh yais!! I think the oakmoss makes all the difference in the world here. I could not handle Beautiful Dreamer more than a few minutes. I wanted to because boy there are some vanilla/lavs that I just adore but that one bit me. I love oakmoss it is so dreamy and it is perfect in this blend. I get the New comparisons too. This is so comfy I can see me wearing this to work as well as to bed or lounging around.

Oh. My.

Happythankyoumoreplease!

This is very similar to To Soothe a Broken Heart, which I lovelovelove, only it is exactly as y'all are saying, even more pillowy and soft. I am so, so happy that this is a permanent collection scent now because my budget is tapped for the time being and I neeeeed an FB of this.

I can't stop huffing my wrists, this is amazing.

This is a lifesaver. I'm already a Balm Bomb devotee, as some of you may know, but the scent just adds to it in that it's very calming and embraces you like a warm, fluffy towel or comforter or--something warm and fluffy. It isn't a stereotypical lavender vanilla but gets a lot of depth (and also a lot of its comforting vibe) from drydown of oakmoss, musk and amber, which interplay so well with the dominant notes. It's definitely in the To Soothe a Broken Heart family of scents so if you're as crazy about that one as I am, you need this. More like needed it yesterday.

Ordered a FB of this. I warfled on Beautiful Dreamer because there was something a bit too much in there for me. Can't put my finger on just what, but I ordered a couple of samples knowing they would last a very long time.

THIS however, was love at first sniff.

I think, for me, it's the oakmoss. There's the lovely lavender and this powdery soft fantasticness of the oakmoss on the softest cloudy foundation of vanilla/amber and the musk is so light - it's not pokey at all. This is all cuddle, calm and happiness. I had already made my LP order on the weekend, so the decision had already been made - but to top it off, my new guy got his first whiff of it last night and pulled me in close to nuzzle my neck and practically gushed about how wonderful I smelled and kept revisiting his praise for the fragrance every time he was close enough to be reminded of it. All the free nuzzle/cuddles were, of course, very nice also ^_^

I am REALLY glad this is permanent!

I never tried Beautiful Dreamer. But this is the perfect bedtime scent. It feels like it is whispering "You've had a hard day. Come to bed." I normally put it on my wrists and have a cup of Stress Relief tea before bed. This scent is exactly what I imagine heaven and angels smell like. Hopefully I will be able to confirm this one day lol. But I don't think so.....I keep getting advertisements in the mail for air conditioners, which makes me think that where I'm going it is gonna be hot..... :faint:

ROFL Gininfl!

The lavender in this is soft and inviting. It is the most prominent part of the scent without taking over the whole thing, as lavender can do. Balm Bomb is, of course, absolutely amazing. I am tempted to get my sister a sample of it. She used to be all about lavender. I think the Balm Bomb would probably really help with her job. (Though Swimming with the Sharks might be better)

I will have to try some more when I can pay more attention to notes.

Just need to add my voice to the chorus here -- this is the quintessential lavender soother scent! It's a bit softer on me than Beautiful Dreamer -- most strongly calls to mind the Lavender Marshmallow Hydrating Water (I am still kicking myself for not grabbing the last bottle of that off Etsy!), even though there is no marshmallow in it. It's soft, pillowy, deeply soothing and I think would be wonderful in spray as well as oil. Yay for this being permanent!

I was two minutes from killing people just for breathing air when I remembered I hadn't tried this from the samples yet because I have a FB of Patience Potion and possible FB-UN, but DH doesn't respond well to EST so I usually make him suffer and those around me.

Instant chill and super happy place. First it was the powdery lavender, but now I am in a soft bed of vanilla scented oak moss and never want to get up. Oh how I wish I'd have ordered a FB a few days ago with the rest of my order regardless if DH is reeeeeally dismissive of me with EST. I LOVE THIS SCENT. Scent and BB saved my in-laws lives tonight. I hate hormones.

FB on my next order.

Today I finally reached for my sample to give it a proper test. When I first cracked open the vial (upon arrival), I was getting a very "spa" scent. After properly settling, Balm Bomb is definitely in the family of scents that New, Beautiful Dreamer, To Soothe....., & Spider Silk inhabit. This one's permanent; YES, YES, YES! Perfect carrier scent for the Balm Bomb pheromone blend.

This is probably the one I was most reluctant to test. But...I am once again pleasantly surprised. It has an instantly calming affect. The sweetness of this reminds me of nighttime baby wash...the ones with lavender. I will not order a FB of is but I will use my sample. This would be great for bedtime....and stressful times! It does morph a bit, but on this one the dry down is really great and I actually like it better than initial application. It becomes softer and sweeter with time.

I am still in love with this one. It's still my "go to" bed time scent. I have a bottle, but I keep the little trial by my bed head. A little dab before drifting off IS dreamy...

I am so happy with this scent! I had a "scent picture" of it in my head when I read the notes, and it's not far off what I'd imagined. I was hoping it would be soft & sheer, because the place I really need to use it is at work. (Dealing with the public amplifies my PMS, which tends to turn my verbal filter off). Scented Balm Bomb is so beautifully soft, so sheer, and stays so close to my skin that it almost feels as if it's a part of me! It feels very discreet and very, very feminine. It really brings to mind beautiful antique lingerie - like worn silks and soft, delicate lace & ribbons. I'm sure I'll find myself reaching for this even when I don't strictly need the phero, just because I want to feel pretty and feminine.

I'm bringing it to work with me tonight. I have a tendency to disrupt the cycles of my co-workers when I start at a new job. They all get tugged around to my schedule, which means that this month, all of the girls I'm working with are off their regular schedules, and on mine - we're all PMSing at the same time! :o So I'm bringing Balm Bomb for us all to wear, so no co-worker boys or customers will accidentally get their heads lopped off.

I wasn't sure what to make of it.

The lavender and oakmoss in this gave it a real guy-smell. Really bordering on cologne.

Then there was vanilla, musk and amber. Which were femme.

It is a calming scent, but too manly for me to wear to bed. I prefer Blessing Oil for calming purposes.

I was really hesitant to try this, generally anything floral is a no. I love lavender, as in the plant, but would never consider wearing it.

I've also never tried this phero, but now that I've experienced this I don't think I can live without it. The fragrance is so unexpectedly beautiful and my hubby loves it too. I can't believe how gorgeous this scent is, this is a wonderful surprise for me. I've been applying it before bed and this insomniac has been pretty content to nestle in and go to sleep. I'm going to convert some to spray for my pillow.

I had put some on over the weekend while on the road with my co workers and they both commented on the fragrance so I slathered some on them as well, and trust me, we could use a little calm. They both loved it. Though one of them made a comment about wanting to love herself, in a personal, physical kind of sence or find an assistant. She's a bit off anyway, so I'm not sure what to make of that.

This is a definite love for me, one of my most surprising purchases.

I've been wearing this to work for the last couple of days. You know, to save lives. Last night one of my customers got up to stand next to me while she used our little portable credit card machine, and asked what scent I was wearing, because it was gorgeous. I told her the name, (did not mention the pheros), and she said, "Well, it certainly is a balm. It's very soothing - like, I could curl up and go to sleep right now." How's that for nailing it on the head?

It seems the combo of Beth's blushing milkmaid and Balm Balm before bed makes the " I'm too tired to indulge you" hubby perk up, literally. I like BB before bed and after a hot shower, love sniffing it on my shoulder as I try to drift off. The last few weeks I've lollipopped

BBM a few times just because I felt like it. Next thing ya know something is poking me in the back. It's happened often enough that there's a pattern. Poor guy was exhausted last night and surprised by his randomly attentive member. Win win I guess.

I am tempted to get this fragrance without the phero just because I love it, pondering what else I could pare it with.

Mr. Karma was feeling overworked and overwhelmed by the home renovations today. He's a "Type A" personality and very much the perfectionist.

I dotted some BB on his wrist and a dab under his nose. He loved the scent. I had him lay down and placed a damp face cloth over his eyes with some BB dabbed on it.

He's sleeping like a baby right now. :Emoticons04277:

So I decided to try this myself. From the vial, I smell a light cozy lavender and a hint of musk. After applying on my hand it dried down to a sweet ambery-oak moss on a vanilla and lavender cloud.

An hour later, I can still detect the heaven-y lightness of the lavender with a subtle creamy vanilla.

Thank you for the reminder on this one, I'm kind of stressed at the moment but have time for a little rest. I just put some on and I hope it works it's BB magic!

I only got a few hours sleep last night thanks to Lady V's Pussycat plus OCCO White plus a dab of BI :Emoticons04263:

WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?! I shouldn't like this, but I love it. I hate the smell of lavender. I have hated it since childhood. The fact that it's supposed to relax me just fills me with even more rage  (which is also how I feel about chamomile).

I ordered a sample of this... accidentally, during my manic trial vial shopping spree where I was just throwing everything into my cart? I must have, because I would have not ordered it on purpose after looking at the scent notes since the first note listed is lavender. So when it arrived, I just tossed it in a drawer in my bathroom unsniffed and forgot about it. Last night, my anxiety was acting up and I had insomnia. I dug this out on a whim and gave it a sniff. OH LAWD. It's so. Damn. Good. I can smell the lavender, and I like it?! Who even am i? Something about the fluffy marshmallow mixed with it is incredible. At first sniff, I thought of those cute little pastel mini marshmallows. But wrapped in a soft fur blanket. I instantly felt calmer and happier. INSTANTLY. I slathered some on my wrists and neck, got back into bed, and fell asleep within minutes. Could be the phero, could be the scent, could be a combo of both. But I'm 100% on board. I just ordered a full bottle of the spray, and I can't wait to mist my pillow and sheets with this before bed every night forever. I'm so happy this is a permanent scent.

Even if you are not a lavender fan like me, get a trial vial. You might be as pleasantly surprised by this as I was.
