  1. It's shameful that I never reviewed this blend because it's one of my all-time favorite LPs! Date night perfume of choice, and one of the only ones in my sizeable oil collection that my boyfriend recognizes by sniff. Delicious chocolatey baked goods but the rose elevates it to something greater. Simply perfection, and I'm happy to say it holds up very well to this day. (Drool.)
  2. Cuddle Bunny does have a "virgin" option, so I'm not sure whether there are pheros. Was that only offered recently? But it definitely sounds like it's the perfume and not the UN if it smells like laundry.
  3. Light and dark chocolates blended with milky hazelnut and a bit of darkest amber, to bring out the bittersweetness. (Didn't see a thread for this, hope I'm not duplicating!) Someone nearby practically swooned and said, "you smell like chocolate!" This is a wonderfully true Nutella scent with excellent throw, and it fills the air with drool-worthy chocolatey goodness. Only when I press my nose to my wrists do I catch the (very slightly) "bitter" amber. That note helps make it a little less like you just smeared Nutella all over yourself, hahaha. Wafts like food, huffs like a perfume.
  4. Here's hoping you can enjoy your day off. A power outage is the perfect excuse for smelly candles.
  5. Mmm, I'm going to have to hunt down Southern Lights and Latte at some point. They sound GORGEOUS.
  6. Take your time, of course! We'd rather have a healthy PM than quick updates.
  7. No way can I make a perfume purchase next month but can I just say that I LOVE this theme?? LOVE. And will read descriptions and reviews with desperate longing.
  8. Part two of my sale order, woooooo!! BOUGHT: March - June PE samples Stefanija FREEBIES: Marigold & Amaranth (I've had my eye on this one for so long!) Pumpkin Juice Cocktail Shrunken Heads Good sale season.
  9. That is a list I would definitely want to see! I am a student who lives vicariously through others haha
  10. Come on, baby. Lemme see that sale order. I'll show you mine if you show me yours... BOUGHT: Stephanie's Hazelnuts About Chocolate Inna's Gadda Da Vita Lady Victoria's Rose Cookies Honey Lavender (good timing, I'm using up my bottle QUICK) FREEBIES: Brigid's Amber Gianduja S'more Than a Feeling (Rose Cookies has been on Etsy for a while, but it looks like there's just one left now. If you've been sitting on the fence, now is your time!)
  11. House Elf to Mrs. Kravitz to Witch Hazel in less than two months! I'm well on my way to becoming a true addict...
  12. This is one of my favorite sleep blends. Very herbal and, hmmm, utilitarian?? I mean that the "bath and body" description is accurate, and I probably wouldn't wear this out and about as a perfume. But it's a softened up herbal lavender that is very cozy and lasts forever. I love slathering this on and curling up in bed, I've never gone through a scent so quickly!
  13. Smells like a yellow cake to me, though I can see why others would say carrot-- especially wet, when it has more of a cinnamon-spice thing going on. It also smells somewhat artificial, more like a cake-scented candle than the real thing, but that would be the "alien" bit! Overall I do like it. It's enjoyable... and just a teeny bit weird. Something I wear more at home than out.
  14. "What smells so good? Oh yeah, it's me!" Betrothal Potion is a perfect springy wildflower bouquet. Believe it or not, sweet dill is the MVP here, making me inhale and think oh god that's just plain REAL. Not at all shrill or headachey but still a Serious Floral Blend.
  15. Makes sense to me! Having PEs be more available would be cool. And I am prettttty pumped about the sale coming in July instead. :D
  16. I love those Spice Village jars! The saffron one is precious.
  17. I'm not well-versed enough with pheros to say what would cover Gotcha and Sexology, but it looks like your guy is reacting badly to patchouli, so steer clear of that. It's in most of the LP variants, fyi. I don't know about Dance of Passion, but it might be the heavy-duty musks he doesn't like (the description calls them "animalistic"). Anything "dirty" (honey can do that in some of the sexier blends), dark, or resinous probably isn't what you want here. Samples and the "type of scent" tags in the perfumerie are your friends! There's still a lot of room for experimentation: fruity, clean, floral, foodie, green, sugary...
  18. It looks like LP ships internationally, AFAIK including Italy. No free shipping, though, and $25 minimum.
  19. I enjoy a nice feminine honey note in perfumes, but I'm easily overwhelmed by honey-focused blends. It took a while to appreciate BPAL's O, and I ended up giving away my It's Raining Men shower gel. So it's not too surprising that this one just isn't a winner for me. If you are a lover of honey, this is just perfect, because it's spot on... in my case that means it's too literal. I'm getting straight honeycomb, softened with powderiness on the skin, then it eventually opens up and the orange blossom is detectable. I can see the appeal: it's pretty and even enticing, but I like my sexy to take a different form.
