  1. Snoopy, have you (or anyone else) compared this to Heart Throb? I've had trial sizes of Wanted Man boosted scents but have always had mixed results and never gone for a full bottle. I've always suspected that I need some social to soften it a bit. From your review the results sound similar to what I get from Heart Throb, but HT has Cops which isn't always a good thing. They have their time and place, but the idea of something similar without Cops is appealing.
  2. Ok, who bought all the bottles then? Been wearing this a lot recently. It's fantastic. And sold out. Bah humbug. Got an unsolicited text this morning. "You smelled divine last night". Says it all. Can we have a rebrew please?
  3. Thanks QG. Will definitely be giving this one a try then.
  4. How prominent do you find the vanilla in this? I tend to shy away from scents with vanilla as my skin amps it a lot.
  5. Glad it's not just me then. I just realised I've still got a sample of Blue somewhere. I wasn't too enamoured of it first time around but I might revisit it and compare.
  6. Is it my imagination, or do some phero blends work better in certain scents? I have SS4M in Sorcerer and Shade, and while Sorcerer is good, I get better results with Shade. Great results actually. Anyone else find this?
  7. Oh good! Mine usually take a bit longer to arrive in the UK. Hopefully the order I placed today will be just as quick as yours.
  8. Anything with Hunter Trapper consistently gives me a confidence boost. More versatile than Wanted Man as it's not so blatantly sexual.
  9. I've never found anything unphero'd which smells similar to Ambuscade. You could always ask if it's available phero-free or go for a similar smelling PE. I'm tempted to do so myself.
  10. I wonder what the chance of a rebrew is. Anyone know if there's anything in the un-pheroed lineup which smells similar to Mean Business?
  11. I got a sample of this back around Christmas, but since I haven't been working in an office envirnment lately I've pretty much been ignoring it. Big mistake. This is probably the most work-friendly scent I have found - I totally get all the references to fresh, clean laundry. Clean, but definitely not soapy. It doesn't have a whole lot of throw, but since I'm usually working in places where strong scent is frowned upon, it's perfect. And the SWS just seems to make everything go more smoothly. Now I want a full bottle and it's sold out. Damn!
  12. In no particular order: Ambuscade Dark Desires Captain Fantastic Shade (RIP) Eternal Sunshine
  13. I can only add to what Snoopyace has said about this stuff. Over the last few months it's become a go-to social for me. Works well with both sexes and spreads a happy chatty vibe among everyone who comes within range. I credit it with turning one particular woman, who is generally quite hard-nosed and aggressive, into a docile kitten. As for the soulmate aspects, it definitely works for this too. A couple of years back there was a woman who was very interested in me and was very forward in letting me know. She turned into a bit of a stalker, but eventually got the message that I wasn't interested. I didn't see much of her in the months afterwards and thought that she had got over it. A couple of weeks back I ran into her one evening while I was wearing Perfect Match. She proceeded to tell me that she would happily drop everything and travel to the ends of the earth to be with me. Yikes! Note to self: Combining PM with TMI can give you more than you bargained for.
  14. I was intrigued enough to try this one but unfortunately I just seem to get the powdery violet. It's ok, but not something I can see myself wearing very often.
  15. I've only tried the scented version, and while the scent isn't really to my taste, there's no doubting the effectiveness of the phero blend. You've reminded me that I should get something boosted with this in my next order.
  16. I've never been able to track my packages to the UK, but they usually arrive in a bit less than a week.
  17. Halloween ads already? It's only the middle of September... I just received a sample of this in my latest order. It starts off quite wet and green on me, but the greenness gives way to a damp earthiness on drydown and the musk comes to the fore. There's a touch of sweetness, but I wouldn't call it a sweet scent at all. Definitely a scent for the cooler months, but I can see me wearing this often.
  18. Dabbing with your finger, the way you describe, is what I do with trial vials. I usually find 2-3 dabs sufficient to get the required results without the scent being overpowering. That seems to work for all the scented pheros I've used.
  19. Thanks for the welcome everybody. I've read enough on the forums to realise that us guys are in a distinct minority. I think I can handle that... I'll be adding to the reviews as and when I get my notes in order. I've always tended to go for lighter, fresher scents, especially water based ones. Picked up a bottle of Aqualad recently, which is fast becoming a favourite. Eternal Sunshine and Sandy Bottom both also get regular outings. Have to admit that foodie smells don't work too well for me, and I've learned to be a bit wary of anything including vanilla as I seem to ramp that a lot. Now that the nights are drawing in, I'm looking at scents more suited to winter evenings. Shade surprised me a lot - I don't normally go for that kind of scent but I really really like it. Slightly gutted that it's gone from the shop and I'm too late to get a full bottle in the sale. As for the pheros, I'm a big wearer of socials. Charisma and MVP have both worked well, as has SS4M. One of the things I like about the LP pheros is that they seem to feel more natural rather than in-your-face like some pheros available elsewhere. Currently trying to decide between TMI and True Confessions. Knowing me I'll end up with both...
  20. Thought it was about time I stopped in to say Hi. I'm not really a newbie at all - I've been playing with Mara's scents and pheros for a year now (and pheros for a lot longer than that). It's been a lot of fun so far and I've certainly had a few hits and misses with the scents, but the ones I've liked I *really* like. Definitely looking forward to trying some more. You people aren't kidding when you say the scents are addictive...
