    Midnight Masquerade

I like this; it reminds me of Pink Sugar but better. The cherry blends well and is not overpowering (for those of you worried about the cherry)
  2. Wow, I'm the first to write a review on this one! Wet, it smells just like the description: the dark chocolate, syrupy raisins, and amber are all balanced. It really is a sweet, dark scent. I like this, but I'm sitting here thinking how different it is from BBW's "Chocolate Amber", a noxious scent so horrendous that when someone in my work area started using it in hand lotion form, I had to make it disappear, and replace it with a new bottle of lotion. Maybe I should give this sample to the owner "Here, you like chocolate and amber? Here is a scent that actually smells like chocolate and amber."
  3. This smells delicious! Its not overly apple-y, and the creamy custardy vanilla part seems to be lasting better on me than these notes did in Sveet Tooth. The cardamom is there but barely there (so far).
  4. Well the purple witch's potion (which I've since opened and figured out that it is sort of like that green "slime" toy.) And a small orange bottle with liquid that says its a choking hazard but not what's in it. I haven't opened that yet. There was also a plastic pumpkin that looked like hard candy at first. LOL! I have no idea why the first thing that popped into my head was to eat them all. Maybe I've got a sweet tooth happening or something.

    Spider Silk 2012

I'm not sure what I thought this would be, but it's not what I thought it would be. In the vial, it smelled familiar. It took me a while to figure it out. It smells a little like Cougar (I swear in the vial I smelled citrusy musk) and a little like Posset's The Scent of Angels (a soft lemon/vanilla/musk scent, now discontinued, and the only Possets I really really like, not that I've tried that many). Now that its drying down, it smells more and more like Cougar. Am I wierd? I get hints of the moss, but its like that sharp moss scent is morphing into what I'm picking up as sharp grapefruit. Anyway, I really like this. It smells like a combination of two scents I really really like.
  6. Probably not, I'm just not sure *what* they are!
  7. They aren't LPMP products....at least I don't think they are.
  8. Mara, the presentation of the sampler is too cute! But there's a couple of little freebies I'm not sure whether to eat, smell, rub on my body, or none of the above.

    Sveet Tooth

Just trying this now. Wet, I'm smelling all the notes in the description. It really smells delicious! I'm a little sad, as it is drying, the vanilla and cream and pumpkin are fading to the background and the cinnamon is dominating. But all in all, pretty good, given that spices often amplify like crazy on me. (sometimes I end up smelling like potpourri or an Indian buffet, but none of that with this one). Also, I'm learning that my skin eats cream.
  10. Yes, Pherogirl is teh awesome. There is a reason you seldom to never see certain scents (including this one) on the swap page. It is very, very sexy. For anyone trying this, remember that products with cops must dry down and meld with your skin before they reach optimal smell-goodness. Yes, it smells overly dirty and naughty at first, but it really does dry down to just plain ol' sexiness.
  11. Hi Skylove: Welcome to our obsession! My advice is, don't fear the copulins. Try out some of Mara's scented copulin product and you will not have to worry about covering the scent. They are already expertly blended with cover scents. One of my favorite copulin products is Pherogirl, which is a honey/orange flower scent, and you can purchase this in the sample size. Copulins are, IMO, the single most effective thing you can wear for attracting male attention. If you describe what types of fragrances you like, you will probably get many suggestions for what LPs to try.
  12. Dang it! I thought I had loaded a sample vial of this in my shopping cart, but apparently I didn't. I hope it is still around when I order again.

I also never smelled the original, but I got an oct. sampler so I guess I will find out what all the fuss is over. It doesn't sound like my type of scent from the description, but it wouldn't be the first time Mara's creations have expanded what I think is my kind of scent.
  14. Just a couple more posts and I can quit polishing this wand -- my arm's getting tired!
  15. Maybe what you need to do is buy a bottle of Cougar potion, and either mix or layer with the unscented Cougar. Best of both worlds!
  16. Well, the scent of Cougar is supposed to be part of the magic, in addition to the proprietary phero blend. There is actually some evidence that grapefruit is sexually attractive and makes the wearer seem young. And there is something special about the grapefruit ingredient in Mara's blend, because it is stable and doesn't go funky. Essential oil of grapefruit tends to break down and smell bad. On the other hand, pheros in the unscented are 3x more concentrated, so it would be hard to say which might give the most hits.
  17. Unscented cougar shouldn't be highly stinky. It has some cops but a very small amount compared to the OCCOs and some of the other blends, and I would say most fragrances would probably do the job. You could also try selling the unscented cougar on the trading post and reorder the scented.
  18. I guess this is why I never see it on anyone's trading post. I've been missing out!
  19. I really "need" bottles of LP original, LP Pink, Pherogirl, and Beth's Blushing Milkmaid.
  20. I didn't realize this had become a permanent scent. It was always something I thought I would love; now I'm going to have to add it to the long list of bottles I want to buy!
  21. Yay, I just ordered a sampler set, and LP and Une soaps. Can't wait to have two of my favorite scents as soaps!

    EBIL-ish!

This sounds awesome, but risky for me. Spices tend to amp out of control, but I'm definitely going to try it.
  23. Yes, the apricot is definitely slightly elevated in this relative to the LP Red batches I've experienced. But this is a good thing for me because spices tend to amp.
  24. We really need a "like" button around here!
