  1. Welcome! I leave the phero advise to others...but I hope you'll enjoy your sampler pack (quite a variety of basic scent 'types' in there!) and that you enjoy your time here on the boards..
  2. Sexy Jam, that's what this is! I'd love to spread it on my toast...or dip into it with a spoon. Who has that doggone LP spoon now? Tyvey? Between the yummy dark-berry and BI, I'm sure this will be a hit with the mister.

    Honey Whip

I'm slathered in this one right now, but it's not at all heavy..it's a light anise-honey confection on my skin - perfect for summertime as the really strong heavy notes overwhelm me when it's hot out. GAWD this is tasty! I honestly hope it *stays* this light and floaty!
  4. I think she saw *last* year's sale.. not this one? However I think we should all do a 'Hangout' or something some night!
  5. Yes, I think Tonka Musk is the clear winner. Oh, did you mean the scent?!
  6. 'Cause that couldn't go in like 100 directions!
  7. Absolutely no embarrassment! We all sense things differently...the combination of notes can do some interesting things in one's brain - happens to all of us. I'm always interested in hearing unusual or different interpretations of what an LP becomes for someone. There have definitely been a few 'wth?' moments for me when I try to wrap my brain around a new one!
  8. I'm wishing this wore a bit more loudly on my skin because it's lovely...just super sheer.
  9. This is OH-so-much more sheer than LP Red. The bright honey seems to lighten the whole... it's a summer-wearable Red! ( I say that even though I'm eclectic and wear Black and other heavier scents in the summer too.)
  10. Not to be contrary, but I think (depending on the burner of course -they run at diff temps) it *might* be a good idea to have something to buffer it over the heat. I use an aromastone which is really low temp, but I still find if I put drops of a fragrance oil in, it gets WAY too hot. Test it solo, but keep an eye on it, especially if your burner is candle powered, I'd say. I have used other neutral oils/waxes (i.e. unscented) as a 'base' for my aromastone when I put LP's on...which works pretty well.
  11. It's delicious, and I would bathe in it! Very light on the cinnamon. Much more creamy coffee (not dark/bitter) and dollop of caramel makes it droolworthy.
  12. Oddly, I'm not sure I sniffed it! Can that be? This has simmered down from *bright* to less so, but still quite delicious!
  13. I do get a tinge of maple. But this is by FAR the brightest lemon scent I've ever sniffed here! And I've *wanted* a bright lemon scent for the longest time!
  14. It's like this kids.... http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/lemon-cake-recipe.html TDF!
  15. Yup, the green musk is one of the notes I'm adoring here... *blissed out*
  16. This was 'up next' to test... I'm in LOVE. Just like I was w/Lina's Autumn Leaves - this one is just a "ME" scent. It's a slightly spicy (somehow) gorgeous green-earthy thing! It's comfy jeans and your favorite top, Saturday morning just wandering around the forest in the sunshine happy.
  17. Sampled this one last night, and not surprisingly on *my* skin, the tea did not come out...it never comes out for me! Apricot can amp as well, so I didn't expect this to be my favorite release. But the apricot was bright and pretty, and made a 'good for summer' feeling scent. The base on this one is quite sheer...
  18. I'll re-test, but I didn't get a *STRONG* coffee hit from this one, more like it added to the dark/bitter chocolate feel.
  19. This one is a tad pointy wet. (and I'm a big fan of white floral...) It's not overly sweet...but pleasantly so. I'll put a few more words down as it settles... An hour later, this is a sheer version of it's former self, one I can definitely do! It's very close-to-the skin now, which surprised me! Very femme, very summery!
  20. This one is MUCH darker (on my skin, which amps resins and spices like patch and such) than I expected...which is by NO means a bad thing for me. I love LP Black, and scents with woodsy/resin. Tobacco, cedar (again, this is a note my skin amps) patch and maple lead...then I get the sugary/tonka. I'm actually thinking of having my sweetie test this one out for him too - he can carry off Mark's Tonka Tobacum which is definitely sweeter to my nose, than this.
