Mara I was shocked to see these up! Talk about flying by the seat of my pants on this one, lol. Seeing them all together... I just realized how much RED & GREEN I (unintentionally) incorporated in all. Must be a subliminal holiday default in the creative center of my brain... I really prefer to steer away from the "typical" holiday stereotype stuff (she says as there's a BIG ol Santa stuck on Cocoa Snuggle) but "we" were pressed for time . At least LeWiz' "Minions" allowed me some room for entertaining more of my bizzar-o creative ideas. And Dolly how FITTING that you would notice my little LP tattoo addition to MERRY... There's another tiny "surprise" LP on one other label... Anyone with good eyes (or particularly good at "Where's Waldo") found it yet? Finally, QG... Really??? I know Mrs. QG isn't a big scent person but maybe a little LP sampler stocking stuffer could bring her over to the dark side just for the sake of holiday spirit! Especially if it's presented with a BONUS gift of a second (much larger) stocking stuffer. Thanks all for compliments & especially thanks to Mara for allowing me to join in the magick here... Oh wow Mara - I just noticed you had some bottles of my PE listed. I need to start a review thread for it I suppose! I love it alone, but it is awesome layered with other scents as well - - kind of like adding a "sugared" or "fairy cake" to really make something wonderful. My husband loves it on me (haven't told him I am the "Lovestruck" of this particular legend, however. A girl needs SOME privacy!) It's so NOT smutty honey (which is hit or miss for me) but it is still very sexy. I can tell he notices it immediately, even if I layer it. I know I asked you about what pheros I could boost it with (I originally was thinking Gotcha or EoW) but now I think (for me) it would be great layered with Cuddle Bunny because that's where he immediatelly goes with it. (Like a moth to a flame) I could see using it with G2 and Perfect Match as well. You really made it a versatile blend that I can enjoy MANY ways.

Wow Mara. First run through with my sampler (in the "blind grab" style of Tyvey that I love) this set is a home run. BIG one. Waaaay outta the park one. I'm just sniffing for the first go around since the wrist swipe thang needs to allow enough time for testing each and the patience to 'settle' on me - but this is the first time I can remember really REALLY liking ALL from first whiff. Every. Single. One. Bravo PM. And of course, thank you for the magic.

THIS kind of forum comment and conversation reminds me of what I loved about LPMP when I first joined in '14. I learned a lot from you and the other forum vets early on and it was fascinating, intriguing and generally awesome You are the one that got me initially hooked on Steamy Daydreams, LOL, and made suggestions on scents that are STILL my go-to LPs today. I've actually wondered the same thing... my SO does react to cops, but lately he seems to obviously react to my LPs enhanced with EST and that kinda threw me. Good question E... I know PM or Halo can answer it and I'm definitely curious. Thanks for the reminder of why I love the forums and why I need to come back more often.

Blue Smoke is the vial that I kept returning to again and again to "test" - it is sexy and hypnotic. And that's on ME. Admittedly I do like many of Mara's manscents, but I didn't remember this one being "for men" until I couldn't find it in the Review threads! Now that I consider it unisex, I definitely want to see if my SO goes for this, because I think it will be incredible on a man. I absolutely love theway the scent kind of floats around in an ethereal way - pulling me in for another huff. More than just having "throw" - it kind of sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Very sexy.

Tyvey I get that too! The first thing I thought of was Sinister Pink and Pom Pom NN. A chewy spicy pink that makes my teeth kind hurt. The pumpkin note is hard for me to pick out only because I get fixated on the sheer sweetness. After about an hour I got a little more pumpkin feel, with the spice/cinnamon defnitely peeking through. But straight out of the vial - I do get the PANK STANK.

This was a nice surprise of the October bunch. Wet, I definitely get the lemon and honey, then it becomes very green smelling on me... not green tea, but that edginess of fresh cut stems, leaves, etc. It has that same initial "twang" (is that even a word??) that Coquette has for me - not a bad thing, but not subtle at all. I suppose this is the same 'herbal' note some of you are getting. I will say that after an hour, I can still smell the honey/lemon and the edginess has calmed down to a layer of wet tea leaves that give it a nice earthy feel. Amazing blend that changes as it wears on.

Even after 18 months at LP, I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on a PE, because I'm still not sure of my ability to match up notes into something I'll LOVE. I've been perfectly happy (still am) letting Mara work her magic, and being a lucky recipient of other incredible PEs from those of you much more skilled in the art (Tyvey, LV, Blackcat, Hearts among others...!) So...I have an artisan body butter that is labeled simply "Blackberry Honey" - it is a very "huffable" sexy skinscent that works like a charm on my husband. Every time. It's not overtly fruity, nor smutty honey. It's lustfully playful, but NOT little girl sweet. I've wished for a perfume oil to give it more 'staying' power... so I approached Mara and as usual, she took it and ran with it, identifying the exact Blackberry EO in probably a matter of seconds (simply amazing IMO) and blending it with a fresh spring honey... I told her she had my blessing to take this base and turn it into something even more amazing than what I had imagined originally. I'm such a huge forever fan of LPO (and not by accident, my husband is too) .. and Mara suggested anchoring this with the same kind of amber that's in LPO. I wanted something that could be made into a spray if I wanted, but still keep some staying power. I also wanted it to be capable of handling a boost of Gotcha!, Cougar or LFN... or a nice smidge of EoW if I was so inclined. I'm quite sure I'm going to bathe in this one - thank you so VERY much PM for finally getting me to jump off the PE cliff... (and fly!)

You always (ALL WAYS) take it to the next level, Mara. A true artist in every sense. Thank you for always pushing the envelope!

For you experienced mixology vets....can this handle a added shot of EoW or will the stank factor sour it too much?

This embodies the reason why patience is a virtue (at least for me). When I first put BP15 on, I was like - OH no WAY... too mediciney/BenGay for me. Quickly moved it to the back of the LP pile for "trading". BUT I failed to make the action that normally would've closed the chapter on Body Paint for me... I got distracted and DIDN'T wash it off. An hour later, I'm doing my usual multi-task mom thing and I think... what smells so great? What did I put on earlier (I always try to test a couple of LPs)??? This one, for me anyway, molts into something soft and wonderful AFTER AN HOUR. Make no mistake, I was a hater in the first 10 minutes... but this is one of those Mara creations that so many of us (in our hasty busy existence) fail to notice (until quite by accident, you forget to wash it off and 'move on" to the next LP) Even after 18 months I continue to learn and appreciate the complexity and magic that each of Mara's beloved LPs have. I have no doubt that I have written off many LPs out of my samplers that I would probably LOVE now. Anyway... BP has become a butterfly after I was convinced it was only the stinky, petrified worm in the bottom of a Mezcal bottle (too graphic!?!) I'm just saying here...(especially for the newbies of which I am NOT far removed) you HAVE to have patience with some of the LPs... in today's fast-paced-satisfy-me-NOW world, you may find you learn something about yourself in the process.

I always love a good lesson. In this instance, I have "assumed" for over a year now that I can't "do" LPs with cocoa or chocolate. The closest I've been able to tolerate is cocoa butter, and I don't particularly LOVE that on me either. I don't even remember which LP I put on that was chocolate forward but I DO remember running to wash it off after about 30 minutes because I was getting nauseous over how the chocolate was seemingly going rancid with my body chemistry... and I quickly traded away THAT bottle. Since that time, I've avoided any LP chocolate scent, and any I've gotten as freebies or in a sampler I didn't even bother to try. So I get this month's sampler. I quickly assumed that Velvet Kisses would make it into the trade pile untouched. I was curious however (probablly because I very fond memories of my TGIF "Velvet Hammer" days) so I tried it. I liked it wet, I liked it 20min in... I LOVED it an hour later. Yes there is chocolate but this one works on me. It is luscious, creamy, warm and sexy. I don't get coffee (which is a good thing - I'd rather drink my coffee than smell like it). I do get little wafts of mandarin orange and amber that flip flop as it wears. Herein lies the lesson: Mara can (and will) take an ingredient that you mistakenly thought you disliked in a scent and combine it in such a way that will surprise you. So never 'assume' or judge prematurely because you will miss out on something incredible. This one will not only be FB but back-up bottle worthy for me.... and it has totally shifted my paradigm on choosing LPs. The Cuddle Bunny Phero is perfect for this one too...

IMO, FB messaging (or 'pinging' as I like to call it) isn't cool past a certain time unless it is urgent. I know I am mentally "programmed" to wake if I hear an alert in the middle of the night (with H.S. aged kids and an aging parent who still lives alone) if it's a GF or family member that needs me I'm perfectly fine with that... but if it's a business question (and LPMP qualifies here) that can wait til the AM when I've recharged my brain. Halo (just like Mara & Le Wiz) is EXTREMELY accommodating (and patient beyond words). It's gotta be tough being on the "front line" of LPMP. Just a little "think before you text/message" courtesy is all that's needed here guys.

Dear Potion Master, No pressure, but In fact, I would commit to TWO bottles of a rebrew. Mine is already under the label and it's only been in my hands about a week! And Cherise I'm well past the baby stuff (in fact I've been threatening to give away the two I have - teenagers, naturally) but this gives me a vibe almost like LFN meets MLH (either one of which I think would be a great phero boost with this one) The intent alone is empowering... to quote Mama Hearts: "fem but with a fierce mama lioness energy."

As I said... I hit the PE Lotto this month because I love every one of the brews I was fortunate enough to snag. That being said however... Hearts Mama Lion takes the Gold for me. And you don't have to be a Mama to love this one! If there is EVER a brew #2 Mara- please put me down! Awesome. Just a friggin awesome PE.

Mara I GOTTA have another bottle of Jennifer's Summer Shine (I should have learned last Summer after the awesomeness of Sunset and Key Lime Kisses!!!) I LOVE all the PEs I was lucky enough to score. I really hit the PE lotto this go-around. Lina's Mama Lion is one reason why. It is indescribably WONDERFUL. I'm thinking this one definitely deserves a round 2 (or three) it's too good not to share. It's just delicious - without being too foody, floral or anything. Makes me feel like purrrring. I slathered it on with MLH and started running my household. Great inspiration Hearts... awesome mixing PotionMaster.
