  1. Just a question, not sure if it was asked: This months' Sample set; Does it include the unisex scents too (Ver. Muse, Kara Kedi and Dianthus), or just the ones described as femme?
  2. Omg omg omg just saw the stuff on etsy, all the sugared stuff and fairy cakes ahhhhhhh too much to choose from! So many scents, so little cash! I'm surely getting Black pepper for my husband, he loves the scent of the spice so much.
  3. Witty Kitty, if he responds to EST+Cops, try to get some Dance of Passion from the trades. Effing awesome stuff. It's lethally sex afterglow honey with a romantic edge from orchids and sugar. VA-VOOM.
  4. I'm at a loss as to how or why people think Dance of Passion smells like incense or candles, to me this is post-coital afterglow and orchids, but that's how people are... I love it to bits. Anyway, I second Compromising Positions as a lovely vanilla.. I love Totem Tiger for the blend of resins, fruit, spice and vanilla - it's like a warm tropical floriental.
  5. Right now: 1. Totem: Tiger 2. Sand Box 3. Phero Girl 4. Dom Noire 5. And I feel fine
  6. Just about all of them entice me. I'm clueless as to what blue lotus smells like.
  7. I can't wait for the descriptions and notes. Anything LFN, though, must be a winner.
  8. O is exquisite, I agree! It's my first SLF blend, even though Mara's obviously takes the cake...
  9. I am so sorry you went through this experience with that b*tchy cashier. While not every blend works for every person, from my experience so far, most people around me don't get affected from the blend in any immediately obvious way... so it's important to adjust expectations as to how these materials work. More often that not, It's a subtle thing... and the effects are often felt on yourself first, and this altering your own reactions to people. Again, every person is different so your experience may vary. Anyway, I pity b*tches like that, and honestly... I have a feeling you would be justified to complain to her manager. I also think maybe consider trying LFM a few more times, who knows, sometimes being hyper can come in handy.
  10. Indeed I layered it with Tiger on Friday. The story is more complex than would have been... there was a shooting attack a block away from where I live that afternoon. I was getting ready to leave the house to see a friend's flamenco music performance at a nearby bar when police sirens and ambulance whizzing past, howling. When my MIL called to make sure we were safe, we turned on the television to see the arab terrorist's picture on the news. He got away and is still at large, at that moment people were advised to keep off the streets for safety. But an hour later I decided I needed this music for my soul. Got to the bar just as they started playing. It was an emotional performance, you could tell it was difficult for the guys to start wjen all hell is breaking loose outside. The joy was real, though, and I did notice said friend reacted to the phero. He was appreciative of my outfit and gave a long warm hug as we said goodbye. That night I went to the salsa club where I met a dear friend, who is an amazingly sexy dancer, and the chemistry was unreal... even more intense than usual. The LFN contributed for sure here too. We were VERY close, moving together in a warm embrace numerous times throughout the night. We were all in need of a mental getaway, I was very much in the moment, on the music, confident in my body and in his hold. Playful, intimate and sultry all at the same time. I like the blend and would love to experiment further with it.
  11. Sandalwood vanilla, a bit of a tart sharpness giving a bit of an edge to an otherwise powdery sugar blend. There is a bit of androginy to it, although it's mostly femme. I really like the scent, will keep wearing to see about the phero.
  12. Yeah, vinger and bee pollen, kind of a dirty musky bee thing, not sweet though. I'll try it in different times of the month... so far.. nope.
  13. After a few more tries I'm sad to notice some kind of wood, perhaps spruce, amping to the point of unpleasant. I'm going to let it age and hope it'll mellow out with time. In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out a way of tinkering with it to sweeten it up and drown the wood. Maybe Aja?
  14. Tropical fruit with a hint of wood. It smells in my mind like a high-end soap you'd smell at some tropical resort. My chemistry probably doesn't agree with this as much as I'd like it to, and I would have loved to love this as much as the idea of this scent. I'll give it a few more tries to make up my mind on it more seriously.
  15. Cocoa, apple, wood, caramel. A lovely everyday autumnal/winter scent that is richer and deeper than the innocent label suggests.
  16. Straight up, while wet, I get an instant scent memory of another company's best blend, ''Snake Oil'' is it's name. Patchouli, an adult creamy vanilla, spice. I get the cops at first, but they die out pretty quickly. This is smoother than ''snake oil'' though, and much better balanced. I think I may very well grow to like it. The vanilla is much smoother and more pleasant to the nose. My husband's response is kind of tepid right now, though. But I'll keep trying.
  17. Hey ShadowX, welcome! Hope you'll enjoy this forum. It's Super friendly!
  18. IKR, QG? It's insanely gorgeous on me and on my guy (even though Pashazade is still The One for him. To the point he tells me my reaction to it is so strong he can't help but giggle). I also probably am going snag a bottle of Lady Victoria's White Cobra off ETSY before it's gone. I'm such a sucker for vanilla and sandalwood combos.
  19. So it's becoming absolutely clear that I'll need a bottle of Sand Box and Phero Girl.
  20. This really amps on me, the point of sharpness. It's very sweet and candied.. i get the image of pink flowers made of translucent caramel that's sharp like shards of glass. With splinters.
  21. It's a bonus for all of us after pheroma madness, boy do I relate to the being broke part
  22. Bvlgari Black was the one scent that I could not bear on my skin. Exactly because of that rubber and petroleum note. It was long ago so my tastes may have changed, but I remember it very vividly to this day. I ran to scrub it off! A touch of rubber may be interesting in this context. And if I'll smell it on said friend and it'll turn me off, I will be very grateful to you QG for saving my marriage (kidding).
  23. I've been generously sent a free sniffie of this w. My last order. I'm not sure what's in this that doesn't agree with my nose. I think it may be the maple and leather combination. I'm usually ok with leather and tobacco, and I certainly like ambergris. Something about the maple spoils it for me. I had the same feeling about SS4M which also contains maple. Either way, I'm glad to see this has so many fans.
