    Top Five

This is harder to do than I thought! Phero Girl Sweet! Fairy Cake: Magnolia Ellie's Elephant Snacks Sticky!
  2. Ellie's Elephant Snacks is the one I pull out when I want to seriously indulge The nuts and chocolate together just goes really deep in hitting that foodie spot, y'know? Popcorn lightens it up some, as well as the sugar, and I can also pick out the vanilla and amber setting up that saucy sauce of ambiance for gourmet. I love everything in this.
  3. I wore this to go see Sir Panda twice, and both times he did not like the way Audacious influenced my behavior I think I'll have to save this for when I'm set to have an empowered, wildly fun night. This makes me feel ready for anything Sir Panda does like me in Blantant Invitation, however. His response to that is more stimulating, provoking, and interactive conversationally. So, the androstenone in Audacious must simply be that much more.
  4. Magnolia Fairy Cake + EST + Topper, went to see my new hair stylist today. Topper always does a great job with me, opening me to be chatty with someone new. We had very interesting conversations, got to know each other very well, and I daresay we are good company. He has even invited me over to his and his wife's house in case I ever needed a space to practice my violin! This makes sense in that he's also a musician and understands the impossibility of my living situation with roommates to be providing any considerate space to practice. But still, we all know that Topper just puts people in that mood to be happy and open. I'm glad we got off on fantastic footing, because I want to be able to look forward to seeing my stylist regularly. Sessions last for hours, after all.
  5. Today was great, went to see my new hair stylist! In a room full of hair products, I really enjoyed being able to smell something edible.
  6. Verry berry forward. I like. LP base gives the berries a creamy tart dimension. One of my favorite desserts is the fruit tart; fillings include berries, sugar, and some lemon juice. Looking at Carnival's notes shows why I keep reacting to LP Carnival like I do to tarts I note that Carnival has farther than average throw, so I wear this very lightly.
  7. I'm so excited to try Just Desserts. I am crazy about almond. My favorite tea for a few years was Almond Rooibos, used to put me right to sleep. So maybe instead of sugaring me up, making me hyper, Just Desserts will have me pleasantly mellow.
  8. It's so funny to me how I'll smell LPMPs a bit different at times. My first try of this had zilch soapy or clean association to it. But on my second and third dons I've picked out the soap and shampoo respectively, in proportion to how much less I smell of everything besides vanilla. I'm going to be inclined to test out the 'shake bottle' theory regarding this phenomenon. We want to shake our bottles, right? I've had this trial vial in my purse for the past few days and the clean smell is what I'm getting rather than when I had left it lying on my desk before my first slather. I'll try it again with it just staying put and report if my smoke comes back
  9. I reached Sir Panda's apartment to find that he had stuffed himself with dinner, and was very sleepy. Well, I get around him, snuggling up and worming my way to gain space on the futon, and within a few minutes he goes, "Why am I suddenly more awake?" He was genuinely asking me as if I could possibly be the culprit for such a thing (of course I was! But I wasn't going to tell him). I was wearing 4 sprays to my neck and hair, and he doesn't habitually give up food coma naps just to have lively conversations, so I'm sure Topper is what did it. Besides, in my own experience, a-nol/DHEAS usually perk me awake, too. I was also wearing SS4W and Sheer Essence, so after he realized that he was more awake, those blends were able to steer his brain toward more saucy ideas
  10. Thanks! I have high hopes to enjoy this practice. Great to hear that it's equally exciting for both instructors and students.

    Vardo

I have to agree that Vardo has a 'neutral' vibe, which is my preference for robustness in a scent I'd like to wear more frequently. I'm going to take a stab and guess that it's due to the sage and ozone/air accord. I find this very interesting. And I am loving this blackberry! It's right there on the bush, ripe for picking.
  12. I still need to explore Aja and all of the honey varieties, but oh my goodness I can just imagine what you created My recent discovery of Hedione in Tattooed Lady and Phero Girl separately was already way too exciting.
  13. Ooh, this one makes me feel ready for some mediumship class consultations that I hope to be taking pretty soon. Initially, I found this to be a very strange scent, indeed mysterious, definitely because I am entirely new to the resinous category. Worn lightly, this is without a doubt congruous to its name.
  14. The potion shop story is so entertaining! This witch can really sell her stuff

    Sweet!

This is just what I need today. I'm having quite the sweet tooth, but got no candy around me. I'm getting the fall leaves scent at the same time, too. That must be the teakwood. I'm all open arms to this combination as I'm granted my desire to pretend I'm at the park right now, sucking on a lolli.

    Sticky!

I'm finding out that I really like smoked scents. That tends to be my choice of flavor for cooked meat, too I'm very happy with this one, as it's cotton candy!!! The sandalwood must be acting as a very supportive base note, because I can't pick it out. I can see how it might just be 'barely there,' and I find that totally likable. But that means I don't get the kettle corn or woodchips experience. That's okay. I'm more of a sugar fiend. ETA: Oh wait! I just took a big huff and concentrated, and I DO smell kettle corn. WOAH. It trails behind the cotton candy for a split second, but I'm not going to be able to pay that much attention to it most of the time. Still, having that deep base note to balance seems like a necessity, giving it depth instead of cotton candy's incessant notoriety for melting and disappearing every time it touches anything.
  17. I was able to pick out everything in this correctly throughout a day's wearing, even the splash of coffee! Yay! And I loved this, too. I think tobacco smells gruff and tough, so I think this can be combined with the Swimming with Sharks pheromone blend for work or school. I'm glad Carny has vanilla in it to balance the scent more toward unisex rather than straight up men's. ETA: Amazingly, before reading the magickal meanings for tobacco and wood smoke, I did remember a particular passed-on loved one more often today and sent them more mental messages than usual. It was nice.
  18. I'm going to have to launch a personal honey expedition in LPMP after having tried this from a sniffie. Every time I get a whiff of its residue from my blankets or sweaters in previous wearings, my eyes roll back and I decree, "I cannot run out of this." I could totally be persuaded to go live with the bees
  19. A dab of this goes a long way for me. I'm not used to unisex scents. I think I smell too much like masculine deodorant. However, I reaallly like the base notes, which I think are sandalwood and balsam, which I also think may be what I agree makes Fairground smooth. "Base notes" are the ingredients you smell later in the wearing period, right?
  20. Yay, I'm glad to finally try hedione! It's soooo lovely. All other ingredients besides ylang ylang are completely new to me, so I don't really know what I'm smelling. But I love them! And this was mine and Sir Panda's first encounter with Blantant Invitation WIN, obviously. I want a FB, f'sho.
  21. It's a different kind of faire, but I just had the idea that wearing this month's new releases to a Renaissance Faire would be perfect! This season will be my first time at one of these and so I'm not totally sure what it's like, but I'm anticipating that the fall weather, mystical exhibits, and gag shows could synergize with these scents.
  22. I've just received this as a sniffie. I'm in love with it! Creamy frosting without being too sugary on me, and with an equal balance of floral so that I can call myself flowery, pretty, and elegant. I can definitely see why you went through two bottles already, missdarlyncherie. I just might do the same Suitable in many settings, from formals to everyday. When I received my 5ml FB, I had to take the rollerball out of the plastic socket. Nothing was coming out, otherwise. Works just fine now. I shake some drops onto my forearm and smoosh that around my torso.
  23. Myrrh invokes a mystical ambiance in me. I love myrrh. I can pick out the orange blossom honey, too. I would wear this when I want some quiet time, agreeing that Distant Calliope has the same comforting 'lush sofa' feeling I get from Sensual Harmony. Maybe it's the cocoa powder giving me the message to relax and be cozy. I hadn't thought to try a little cops with this, but that's a fine idea! It will definitely be an interesting experience
  24. I have fond memories at carnivals! And I love the ambiance of autumn.. definitely will not refuse this month's sampler
  25. Hooray, this is my first FB order from LPMP scents! This and Dragonfly. I really want to, like, put a Selena Gomez sticker on my Sensual Harmony bottle because this fragrance reminds me so much of her grace and charm. The vanilla and sandalwood just sort of slip me into any situation so that the ylang-ylang can go do its thaang. It's as if SH helps me remember to be graceful to haters. "Kill Em With Kindness" anyone? I wore this with SirPanda last night and he wouldn't stop whiffing deeply in my neck. He's never done this in the last 4 months we have been together, so I know he was liking what he was huffing. What a way to bring us closer! Sensual Harmony it was, indeed.
