  1. @dolphindolls2 thought maybe you would like it because of the orchid. I love the label!
  2. Wore this today. Not quite a week post travel, but I’m doing my best! I have a FB of the 2018 Gossamer Threads with Cuddle Bunny, and I love it, but I believe I love this more! The comparison is fitting, but I feel it is next level beautiful due to the creamy tuberose. I’m not a white floral fan, but tuberose is secret temptress of a flower, just pretending to be sweet and innocent, really she’s quite the slut. The sandalwood holds it down and rounds out the “me, but better” soft skin scent. With the Levitation phero, Destine would be the perfect summer party perfume. Good chance I’ll be going FB sometime soon!
  3. Oh wow, this is beautiful, and I’m not one to lean “fresh.” I put it on as a blind grab, I never would’ve put it on knowing it had True Confessions. I already talk too much! I love the scent that’s sneaking up to my nose off my body and clothes. Regarding the TC, I had exactly zero experience today with over-sharing, and this scent is extremely fitting because it’s very approachable. It would be awesome to be worn by or around someone who frequently feels shy, inhibited, or suffers from social anxiety. Terrific ice breaking potential! From the official phero listing- TRUE CONFESSIONS – (unisex) - The much celebrated combination of Beta and Alpha Androstenols, which purportedly encourage approachability, chattiness, and deeply intimate communication. Wearing a large amount is reported to have a truth serum-like effect.
  4. @dolphindolls2 I had considered going FB on this and because $, I went with the Argent instead. I’m guessing it will sneak into an upcoming order, though. I still have some of my trial left and I’ve been savoring it. I’m curious, have you tried Tipping the Velvet?
  5. Heads up- On the Luv site, there’s only one bottle Lilu left, so if it’s been on your mind you should grab it, I cannot imagine it will be there long.
  6. @dolphindolls2 it’s not like the other fermented alcohols that I’m familiar with in men’s, like whiskey and rum, or the gin in Desp & Djinn, or any of the bubbly/ champagne sparkly stuff. It’s a pretty specific red wine note, I don’t know what to compare it to, perfume wise, but I feel it is more of a (grounding?) scent of the wine itself than specifically that boozy smell. I think it stays in the base, like how amber ties a scent and holds it together. No one would get a sideways “is that whiskey” glance wearing Argent.
  7. Really nice, oak moss vibe. But the BF keeps singing the Toto song Africa, or rather sounding out the beginning of the drum take-off. I hope that part isn’t permanent.
  8. You also have a much more refined sense of smell. I put Argent on maybe 5 hours ago and it has morphed and is drawing me in. If you hadn’t pointed out the red wine, I wouldn’t have known what I was smelling, but it’s right there under the lingering geranium and myrrh. I’m so happy I went full bottle on this. Sometimes it’s hard to get the full picture from a trial and I will be getting much wear out of this lovely perfume.
  9. No, but it seems like it could get you arrested! Play it cool and sit on your porch.
  10. @Kayla and @oceanjewel it’s funny that you’re getting opposite impressions! I have my trials but I’m committed to letting them rest, so living vicariously through your reviews at the moment.
  11. When tearing into my samples, this is the first one I’ve put on the back of my hand, because I’m very excited regarding the notes and the Gossamer Threads reference. After it’s days of travel and extreme weather fluctuations, it badly needs to rest, it smells nothing like the notes at the moment. I’ll give them all a week before I even touch them again.
  12. I have a little collection of trial vials of every LP variant I’ve been able to get my greedy little hands on. There have been a few bottles from before my time that I’ve managed to gather, but really I just like having all the trials, meaning seeing the labels/ knowing the notes, but I don’t generally wear the ones I know I’ll never attain, or at least I don’t use more than half of the trial vial. I honestly don’t think I ever sampled LP Blue before today. I have a bottle of LP Blue I received of the trade boards, but it wasn’t for me. Maybe I already traded it away? I don’t know, but I wasn’t into it, so I figured LP Blue wasn’t for me, either. I was in a hurry to get out of the house today and reached into a pile of trials and pulled out LP Blue. Not even sure how it got in there, although I did make a goodie bag for a friend not so long ago, but I wore it today and I didn’t have any expectations. It’s so good! It’s left the perfect and long lasting Amber/ patch/ tobacco/ sweetness that lingers, and has magically re-emerged after the perfumes I put on later in the day wore off. (When I wear different scents throughout the day, I’ll put them on different parts on my body, but the first scent of the day is always my wrists.) I finally get the need for the perfect boy smell in one’s collection. @luna65 good job on this one!
  13. I was thinking that as well. Halo also had a Lavender Musk PE that I loved, since we’re ruling out Odalesque. The Sunshine Brûlée could be like the Summer 2016 LP Banana Brulee (although I cannot picture cats and bananas together, and there’s a cat on the label), or maybe a Lemon Buttercream? Regal cats love lemon buttercream, correct? These labels are so beautiful. Mara did you make Paulina in honor of the artist?
  14. My man also gets cranky if I have MLH on, his mom is a cleaning freak and it would cause him to immediately start cleaning, with a bad attitude! This may sound good, a man cleaning, but he’s always cleaning, so no need for the irritability. Your post is a good reminder for me. I do tend to just “fix it and forget it” as far as pheros go, I’ve perhaps made him crankily clean without realizing it a few times lately!
  15. I hate moving, just like everyone else, but I love hearing about the bottles you’re uncovering!
  16. I am finding “the charismatic vibe,” description to be spot-on, but for me, the self-effects do seem to set me apart from the group. Everyone will keep an eye on me and do what I say, take me seriously and laugh at my jokes, but I feel that the self-effects make me less approachable. (It’s a professional set-apart LFM vibe, as opposed to the set-apart feminine mystery of LFM.) Personally, I do not wear Dominance in any form, because it makes me feel like a crazy bitch. I know many love that blend, and Leather, but they’re not for me. This is my Dom blend. It’s very useful, although I think it makes my man uncomfortable. I’m not a shrinking flower to begin with, so the last thing he needs is me in any kind of alpha blend. So it is similar to Girl/Girl in that I would be wearing it around not-him, but it doesn’t have the huggy-vibe that I got from Girl/Girl. This is what @hedgehog reported with Girl/Girl- “I’ve noticed a happy camaraderie with women and men, especiallywith men who are EST responders (at least, that's my guess since they respond really well to LFM.) There's more smiling, laughing, but also good teamwork and a feeling of bonding. We were talking about boring projects details during a meeting but everyone was engaged and in a great mood. I like this! It reminds me of a Lace type happy vibe, but more smart and put-together. Or a more approachable and warm-and-fuzzy LFM, like if LFM took off her sheath dress and put on a slouchy cashmere sweater.” That was also my experience. So maybe this is perfect Girl/Girl replacement for most phero users, but not me, as someone who naturally leans alpha. I feel as though women want to be near me, hang on to my every word, expect my words to be insightful and my jokes to be funny, but no one is going to risk disagreement. The Crone archetype in the best sense of the word, compassionate, bold, fearless and wise. I still might use it with the same women though, or in situations where I may have reached for Treasured Hearts. That’s what I reached for with ‘prickly females’, when wanting to reach a meeting place, like my ex mother in law, who is a total bitch. (For the record, her license plate says Queen and she has crowns and Queen references all over her house and has always put my daughter down because she was threaded by a strong female child.) I think I would wear this around her today, it wouldn’t work me up internally like the other alpha blends, but the vibe of Queen Bee is very clear and not to be challenged.
  17. @Eve from what I know of how of how you amp patch, you’re not going to like it. My skin doesn’t but my clothes do!
  18. @citrine there have been a few marzipan based scents over the years, I’m remembering a PE called Stefanija that was lovely.
  19. @RosesArePink I do love the sprays. But the little pherotines really are the (love) bomb for figuring out how powerful they really are. I have most of the phero’s in my arsenal also in spray form, but I highly recommend just using them in scented blends in the beginning because it’s much easier to avoid going overboard.
  20. I love it! It seems like the H&S is giving you the best results. I love using the pherotine dropper bottles for experimenting. For the record, 4 drops of DHEAS is too much for me, so he might be sensitive like me. Go back to 2 drops. And I’ve gone through many bottles so I know it’s a winner for me, but dosage has to be real light.
  21. No joke. We only have a trial of this, but it is stunning. Last night my man showered and went to go pick up our Thai food from the place where I’ve been eating for 17 years. For the record, we both smell good most of the time, but last night my favorite waitress, who’s been there all 17 years, demanded to know what my man was wearing and needed the link to purchase it “for her friend.” This stuff really is that good. I’m rarely drawn to aquatics, but it’s the kind of scent that I’m happy to chase.
  22. I’m wearing it today, and the other day I re-wore a sweater that I had sampled wearing LP⚡️BP while wearing that Katwise sweater. The patchouli doesn’t show up so much on me, but it sure sticks on my clothes! I put a little Elementals:Air on that day to lighten it up.
  23. I’ve been thinking about this one lately! I wish I still had my trial.
