  1. Ahhh well. Not every scent will work for everyone. I got a ton of compliments whenever I'd wear Boddice Ripper for men but I couldn't really love the scent enough myself to be able to wear it.

oh, see, and i love boddice ripper, but the freaking heat/humidity makes it only wearable a few months of the year (too heavy, i guess is the word).

  2. ok, a little dab will do ya..i put it on 11 hours ago and have even washed one of the application points and it is still sticking around. first, i get a blast of tobacco (which i always love) but accompanied by something sharp, so i had to let it mellow for a while before sniffing again. when i did, it had turned into slightly sweet musk. not sure about this one, might have to let it age a little and use less when i do.

  3. I'd thought about getting some of this but I prefer the non-phero boosted scents (so if I want to add something myself I can) but I remember loving the combination of this scent and the Charisma blend. The combination made everyone oh so nice to me. (And it does smell great!)

yeah, i'm a sucker for musky smells...i must admit to huffing my deodorant before putting it on. :001_302:

a phero-less (hehe, looks funny) version would be cool, too. sometimes, this particular combo can leave me feeling drained.

  4. Oh man, I have a sample vial of this that I've never tried wearing. Gonna have to give it a go sometime soon now that it has cooled off here.

cool! i was bummed when i amped the burnt cracker smell, but it was worth the wait to let it do the cool lp-morph-over-time thing.

  5. I am so lucky to have won this one a couple of months ago. This is another snuggly, bedtime favorite that might get more wear during the cold months. I do have to wait a good thirty minutes for the initial, SMOKY GRAHAM CRACKER, to pass into a very velvety chocolate (chocolate scents smell so good on me, if i do say so myself :001_302:) marshmallow.

  6. normally, lavender-scented products smell too medicinal to me, but this is so smooth..maybe that's the amber? anyway, it helps me sleep like a baby if i wear it to bed and when i wear this to work, especially with some b2, one of my supervisors is very friendly to me. he has given puppy dog eyes when complimenting me on things i do all the time. :001_302:

  7. ok, i was hesistant to buy this for the name/label image since i'm not looking for a miss right, but i do like musky/spicy scents. i just got a sample vial, but i have been sniffing myself so much when i wear this that i might consider a full bottle. i have noticed more attention from others...even had a female co-worker come up and scratch my neck. but, at the same time, it makes me feel more aloof. :001_302:

  8. ok, the lovely luna gifted me with some DW and even though i am getting over a cold, what i can smell is quite yummy. when i first put it on, it smelled kinda..buttery, is the closest i can think of. then, there is a sweetness, but not overtly so. i wish i could better describe it and stay awake for whatever other tasty evolution it might take, but "drowsiness may occur" is putting it mildy.

    :)

  9. This is definitely NOT just for men! Actually on me it's pleasantly sweet and woody with the red currant and vanilla musk enveloping a background of soft spicy woods. No Illustrious Cedar of Death at all. There is nothing particularly manly about this on my skin, because I tend to amp sweeter notes, so I think a bottle may be in my future. ;)

    Aww, thanks! :)

There's no cedar in it, actually.

I think this one has a really good balance between all the notes. I wish Q didn't think it was "too young" because I love the way it smells on him.

Yup, no cedar, but a spiced mahogany that evokes the smell of a library table to me.

  10. OK, this really does smell like a barber shop to me. I totally get the shaving soap/musky notes the most and even a hint of newspaper (how'd ya do that?). As for the phero effects, I only wore it to bed last night, but it did make me feel all happy/cozy and I slept really well.

  11. Me too. :)

Okay all of today every time I see this thread the voice in my head starts singing:

I am the pie in the sky

looking at you, I can read your mind.

(Yes I'm a dork, and your point is? :jumpforjoy: )

Great...now I have Wheel in the Sky stuck in my head! ha
