Hey Dolly, Since you are LP Black and OCCO Black fan, I would like to know if the two smell different and if so, how. I have an OCCO Black and I'm wondering if I should get a bottle of LP Black in my next order. Thanks for your help, J

I was quite put off by LP Pink but hey, guess what? I like it. My nose has kind of gone bonkers after smelling so many scents each day. It's an adventure each time I open my scent box.

I have 5 scents on me now and I must try Mellonia's Secret after my shower. Fae Lotus sounds interesting but one more beautiful scent means more headache when it comes to deciding what scent to use.

Drivers, maids and baby sitters in China are dirt cheap considering that if your earnings are in US$. The "good" ones earn an average monthly salary is US$400 or so. But don't forget that a fresh graduate in the big cities only earn US$300 or so per month. I think I turned out alright after a couple of 'amah' years but I have seen too many cases of irresponsible maids outside or pampered kids who will get their maids do everything for them, e.g. they won't get go to kitchen to get a drink on their own. My current PT maid does that sometimes. She allows my kids to leave their dirty plates and cups on the dinning table after dinner, she carries my son's school bag, etc. I don't want the "I'm your boss so therefore you have to bow down to me" feel at home. I think it boils down to different values and cultures.

We have 3 containers. Pheros & spell potions in one, heavier ones (musk, honey, honey) in another and light flora ones for the kids. They are not allowed to try anything from the pheros/spell box no matter how nice they smell. They will get their bottles soon so they are happy with this arrangement. At least for now!

I noticed that you didn't order any pheros. Is it because you're already a seasoned phero user? I'm new to pheros and thus my first order from LPMP was mainly pheros. Half of my second and third orders were pheros.

First of all, I like Betrothal Potion (BP) very much. I ordered 2 bottles even though my hubby doesn't like it. This reminded me of BP and I had to apply BP on my other hand to evaluate this. At application, this was much sweeter and simpler than Betrothal Potion. Alternating between the two, this made BP smell flat and bitter and this is probably because of the 'green' scent in BP. Then I had a panic attack. Is there a need to amend my order (which should be on it's way here) or do I have to put in another order to grab a bottle of this? Then I decided to let it breathe. Half an hour later, this still smells better than BP. That's not much I can do for now so I went on with putting my kids to sleep. About an hour after the initial application, the true winner surfaced ..... and that's .... BP. Don't get me wrong. I like this very much and it deserves a full bottle order. It's just that it does not have as much holding power and that means I will have to refresh numerous times. This will make a wonderful scent for bedtime (and thus reapplication will not be required).

BI is suppose to contain a blend of Alpha-Androstenol, Alpha-Androstenone, Estratetraenol and Copulins.

Actually, I still haven't tried my UN-BI .... shame, shame. I've ordered the full range of LAM but haven't the chance to try any. My order would have been shipped by now so if I have a problem with A-nol, they'll have to go to the trade post and I'll be extremely disappointed as I want to BLAM with them.

To reduce stress, I have most of my deliveries shipped to my work place. As long as the packages make it to me safely, they will be in safe hands of the security guards. This also saves me a trip to the PO to collect them.

Yes, it is the phero version. I'm getting Fawn's bottle of MRF BI. But if I were to order directly from LPMP, I would get one without BI since I have a 60/40 unscented BI. In addition, I was a little concern after reading Perfumesniffer's post on the headache. I'll have to test mine out. I haven't tried Fade to Black. I'm more of a floral person but I think I can do with honey, musk, amber and sugar for a change. Outside my comfort zone, I have ordered Shelly's NSD, Shelly's Lascivious Peach, Shelly's Honey Cherry, Pherogirl, Sugared Honeycomb and Karmiel's Silky Moonlight. All the LP love potions will be next order as I still have major reservations on vanilla. I took a sniff on my OCCO White yesterday and it's likely to be the last shield that I'll try on. 12 hours later and at close range I still smell like a burnt cookie 12 hours later at close range, even the LP Red has disappeared long ago!

I had a live-in helper to help my dad many years ago. Those available back home are of a different breed ..... extremely hardworking and some employers take advantage of them. Imagine your house and car have been cleaned and breakfast is ready by the time you're up at 7am. It became a neccessity to have a maid for many of my friends. Domestic helpers tag along during family holidays so they can go shopping peacefully. This reminds me of the olden days when each child has a nanny and they are called an "Amah". Personally, I didn't have a helper till I have my second child. I was a SAHM for 6 years and now that I work full time and I need help with the cleaning, cooking and picking my daughter up in the afternoon so this is a good option. I treasure my privacy, personal space and the relationship I have built with my kids so therefore I want my helper to come in for a couple of hours six days a week. In addition, I do not want my kids or myself to become dependent on them. The kids need to learn to do things on their own.

My arsenal is definitely building up in a short time. My first couple of orders and trades were on the safe side, mainly flora. I have never been (quite) exposed to food scents. I do recall smelling them on my US and European colleagues, the vanilla, cinnamon, etc so it's probably a cultural thing. I am glad that I have ventured outside my comfort zone and ordered some musks, honey, sugar and vanilla.

She's been with me for close to a year now. Sometimes they have a mind of their own. When I first got here, the rate that I fire domestic helpers was faster than I change my undies (so to speak). Her cooking and cleaning sucks but at least she's at home when my daughter comes back from the kindy in the late afternoon. So I guess you win some, you lose some. Anyway, since it doesn't stink, it will go into the box where I keep my goodies.

I received my sample yesterday and I had to try it on immediately (with LP Silver on the other wrist). I feel like I'm a giant and slightly burnt cookie and I think I can handle this so I'm getting a bottle of this boosted with BI.

Very beautiful scent. Fresh and light flora but I didn't get much vanilla which isn't a bad news for me. I agree with Isa, it doesn't feel like it has a lot of throw but it has reach. I would imagine it's something I will use at work, at home with the kids or for snuggling time.

I'm checking my mails 3 times a day too. I never know if they will fit it into the mailbox or they will leave a note to inform me about collection at the PO.

I managed to fall asleep with LP Red close to my nose. This baby is still going strong after 7 hours! I've ordered a set of the LP samples to test out all regular LP scents and for travelling. I hope they will have enough time to settle down before my trip in Sept.

I'm so glad as I have been thinking of where I should hide this bottle of evil potion, particularly from my domestic helper. She'd be the first one to throw things which smell bad in our house.
