  1. This one is fabulous!!! At first sniff in the vial, I immediately thought of the apple in Pomme de Poison, a favorite of mine. On my skin, I got a vibrant punch of raspberry. It's more like a juicy Hawaiian Punch (if it came in raspberry) vibe than candy like to my nose. The raspberry is just tart enough to keep this from being syrupy, and the warm amber adds substance. Maybe a full bottle for me!

  2. So this is my first PE!! I wanted something with ingredients that represented not only fertility, but female energy too. Something to celebrate what our bodies are capable of doing (even if you opt not to!) So of course it needed fig. Other than that, I had some ideas of ingredients but I wasn't confident in how much of what and how they would all work together. I spoke with Mara (which totally made my day!!) and we worked out the ingredients, and oh my goodness y'all! This. Is. Incredible!! This is so deliciously complex and simple at the same time. First on, it's mysterious and smokey. The notes blend together seamlessly. The fig is deep and rich. You can almost tell it's there but before you can grasp it, it slips away back into the blend. You can almost touch the almond but then it goes away. You can sense the pumpkin but it's just out of reach. It's like a chameleon! As it wears on, the buttercream comes out. It against the spice makes this almost milky sweet skin scent that's sort of reminiscent of babies (to me anyway). It's kinda earthy in the earth-mother way, the same vibe I got from New. Finally, it morphs into this delicious foody warm spicy scent, much sweeter at the end than it was at the beginning. It throws a bit at the beginning but the complex notes sit very close to the skin. It's a very intimate frangrance, cozy and comforting. This is everything I wanted it to be but couldn't put into words. I love how it smells, I love what it represents, and I love how I feel when I wear it. You hit it out of the park, Mara!!!!!!!!!

  3. I have to say, there is one upside to all this. I am taking a lot of phone orders and getting to speak with people I have typed to for years and I finally get to talk to them. It's been great hearing your voices!!!!

I'm all late to this post, but I had the pleasure of speaking with Mara on the phone!!! I just can't wait to get over to the west coast and actually meet her and the crew!

  4. I was iffy on this because blueberry doesn't usually work for me in the long run, but I love Rose and sweet pea. First on, I get a blast of blueberry, sweet and tart and fresh. The LAM scent is present for the first few minutes but you know, it seems to balance the sweetness. Once the phero dries down, the blueberry has also backed off by that point, and I start to get the sweetness from the florals. More Rose than sweet pea. It's a very rich scent, but vibrantly so. It's like a summer day in Maine. (Um...not that I've ever been, but this is what I imagine it smells like, fresh, floral, fruity and blue.)

  5. Wow, this one is so well blended, I couldn't even identify the individual fruit in this one! In the vial, the thyme is very forward. But once I shook it up and put it on...my goodness. It was so bright and fresh and sweet. Miley tart, must be from the grapefruit, but the best way I can describe this is invigorating. The wormwood cones out more later in the drydown, and it's fabulous. It's earthy and sweet in its own way. I'm not really one for herbal type scents but I really love this for spring and summer.

  6. My package came today, and the timing was perfect. I cannot stay out of the kitchen tonight. So I put on a little Anti-Piggy to stop the munchies. It did indeed! And that's just the bonus on top of the wonderful scent. I'm a fan of LP's apple notes, and this is one of the best. It is tart and bright, smoothed by the banana. But the spearmint. Gah!!! I typically don't care much for mints in my fregrandes, but this is enthralling. I can't get enough of it. It is so fresh and almost adds a sort of masculinity to this. Overall, very energizing scent, and it does the trick!

  7. Petit four Your Thoughts! I was sitting here trying to figure out what it reminded me of, and it's that! Except my skin likes this better. I think it's the cream. It just smoothed everything out. But really, after the initial almond raspberry blast, which lasted maybe five minutes, everything just blends together seamlessly. Even the honey!!! I usually amp honey to smutty proportions. Not in this. It is just a barely there sweetness. And the cops are completely covered. I couldn't even smell them in the vial.

So maybe it's just me, but I found the scent New very sexy. Sure, it smelled milky and powdery like a baby, but that one has a very sensual, earth mother undercurrent. This has the same vibe. Milky, innocent and sweet but bursting with a sensual, womanly feel to it, and the cops emphasize that. I absolutely love this one.

  8. I just love reading about how differently the scents wear on different people!!! I get nothing like Sneaky Clean or X Appeal on me. Those were deliciously soapy on me. This one is clean but not soap. I do get a lightly sweet musk with a tinge of floral from the magnolia. To me, it smells like sheets that have hung out on the line, clean but with the "outside" smell. It's very sheer and refreshing. I have worn it to work twice already and wore it for a relaxing at home day. I can definitely feel the "reset" vibe!!

  9. I gave the fermented alcohols the side eye but put this sample in my cart anyway. And I'm glad I did. this is a warm, cozy fall scent. The musk is my favorite kind, the close, skin scent. The pumpkin is the pumpkin flesh type, not the spicy pie kind, and it adds a touch of creaminess. i actually don't get a ton of marshmallow or walnut, but I detect them there. It's one of those "sum is greater than the parts" things. This actually goes on very sweet on me, but it quickly does down and turns into the perfect unisex scent. I'm going to try t on the Marine sometime to see how it smells on him. I agree, the perfect carrier for TMI. May be a favorite!!

  10. I can't even. I can't even with this! It is so rich and luscious, like sinking into a vat of caramel. As it dries down, I get a warm, yeasty buttery scent. Like she said, it's reminiscent of Warm and Toasty but more buttery, and the creaminess comes from the lingering caramel as opposed to the banana. My winter scent for sure!!

I literally want to lick where I tested this!
