  1. Sugared Amber Our gorgeous blend of rich sweetened Amber embodies the magical properties of Fertility, Love, Luck & Riches. May be worn alone or with our other Layerable scents. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: AMBER ~ Fertility, creativity, love, luck, riches. SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing, wishes granted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In vial: caramel and a hint of almost creamy amber! On skin: gorgeous stuff! The sugar and the amber smell similar but have their own characters, and they naturally go together. I get the darker, stickier sugar note all over a lighter, more luminous and clear, sweet and almost perfumey, almost a little powdery (now I get the ‘powdery amber’ reactions others get-but it’s a lovely reaction on me!) and with the darker resinous side some ambers have. The scent is golden and sweet and resinous and magnificent. Very luxurious and decadent. The amber and sugar smooth out even more to make a lovely light amber fragrance, rich and glowing but soft and almost fluffy-sweet, but with a hint of resinous undertone to it. this smoothes out very nicely at drydown but the darker aspect of the amber deepens too, my nose may be crazy but I swear I catch a slight whiff of a darker base note like vetiver but that could be just my nose playing tricks. Beautiful stuff!
  2. Sugared Egyptian Sandalwood In vial: very similar to Isis (no surprises, she's on the label), but with sugary caramel instead of honey. On skin: mmm, this is beautiful. The most obvious note is the sugar, which smells like brown sugar here with golden syrup on top, but underneath is a hint of dry, spicy, exotic and incense-like Egyptian sandalwood. ES tends to be a lighter, spicy-incensy and almost lemony sandalwood scent and I get it here. This is so good! This is all about caramel and brown sugar over exotic sandalwood incense, with tones of honey to it. it smoothes out even more at drydown and develops an amber like scent, and at the end, it's like crystallised honey over dark amber with a hint of spicy woods. It's a gorgeous mix of foody and incensy scents. Surprisingly complex, and I love it.
  3. Sugared Egyptian Musk In bottle: very, very sweet, fruity and juicy sweet, with subtle musk. On skin: mmm, this is very pretty! I was fearing that this would be oversweet like the last two sugared scents I tried (Vanilla Mint and Honeycomb) but this is very nice! The sugar is fruity and sweet and syrupy, it does smell like sugar cane with it's fresh, juicy, cool scent, I also smell white sugar, candy sweet and crystalline. The Egyptian musk in here is of the subtle kind, a soft skin scent underneath all the sugar that is definitely there but isn't obvious. I smell the telltale skin scent of it, warm and slightly fresh-tangy, but it's the sugars that are dominant for now…it also prevents the scent from becoming too cavity-inducing. There's also an interesting reedy aspect to the scent which reminds me of papyrus, funnily enough. There's a wetness, makes me think of reeds and sugar cane growing by the Nile. This is very different from Sugared E. Sandalwood. Whilst that one was more of a caramel/brown sugar scent with a dry, headier, oriental feel, an evening scent, this one is a candied white sugar scent with a lighter, breezier and wetter scent to it-more of a summery daytime scent. it is gorgeously sugary but never too sweet, it's like a gentle candy floss with that subtle brush of Egyptian musk which at times reminds me of light EM incense. I love this one!
  4. Love Potion In vial: creamy sweet vanilla, almost pure vanilla, very foody and sugary. On skin: now I smell the apricot coming out, like an apricot covered in sweet vanilla cream. Rose also makes an appearance-though it is subtle, as well as that lovely glowing undertone of amber, and a hint of patchouli as well, I don't smell much of the verbena or greenery, just the sweet, creamy, golden notes of amber, apricot, and lots of vanilla. Usually vanillas like this turn plastic or cloying on me but not in here. This is very attractive, it smells edible, delicious, I want to bite my wrist off. It reminds me of ice cream, cake and custard, apricots soaked in vanilla syrup, dessert like and ambrosial. I'll have to see what happens in terms of it's magical properties but I can see why this could be a love potion-it smells so lickable! And it has a surprising amount of waft as well, teasing me with it's 'come and devour me' scent. After a while it smells more sugary, like candy floss and fairground donuts. I love this stage…and I seriously crave 'funnel cake' donuts. This is a gorgeous scent all round-a perfect vanilla with hints of fruit and sugar. Irresistible!
  5. Sugared Mint In bottle: mintier than Sugared Vanilla Mint. This is also a more herbal, greener mint. On skin: oh, I like this one a lot. It makes my skin tingle! It's sweetened mint, this is a herbal mint, but despite having basil and dill, this doesn't smell savoury or like pesto or something like that. It smells more like a bunch of wet garden herbs on ice, with mint being dominant. I like that-it smells summery but cooling. It also reminds me of mint cordial, that combination of mint, sugar and a wonderfully watery coolness. Totally different from the other sugary mints I've tried, this isn't like mint sweets, gum or toothpaste, this is more natural and smells icy, there's something nice and snowy about this scent. But this doesn't seem a winter scent to me either-this seems more like an antidote to summer heat, it smells so fresh and wet and cold, with the perfect amount of sweetness. The scent does fade a little quickly but smells fresh and herbal, like the scent of cool summer night air full of the perfume of herbs. Surprisingly, the mint note lasts a long time in this scent-quite a feat for mint! It also smells clean as it dries-not soapy though. I'm so glad I got a big bottle of this-I'm also surprised as I thought I'd prefer Vanilla Mint, but I prefer this one.
  6. Pirate Bumbo In vial: spiced butter rum with pina colada! On skin: arrr! This is good! I smell dark rum, caramel, spicy treacle with cinnamon and crackling nutmeg, heavy sugary-booze notes…but then I smell the lighter, fresher scent of fruits lightening up these heavy notes. I smell the pineapple and coconut adding that pina colada scent, with papaya and lime as well. this is a wonderful cocktail of a scent-unusual in that there are very sticky foody notes which usually tend to become overpowering, but there are tropical fruits which make the scent very summery and takes the edge off the thick sugary rum. It's like the dark side of pina colada, spiked with an extra dose of pirate grog. This smells giddy and fun, a very happy and carefree scent, light hearted and decadent, a very different kind of summer scent. the fruit notes lose their strong freshness as the treacle-like spicy rum sugar scent takes over, but I still smell coconut here. it's a spicy coconut butterscotch rum with just a touch of pineapple. I like this a lot-how can I refuse a pirate scent?-but this could become a little overwhelming at times. I love the fruity aspect though. One of my favourite pirate scents!
  7. Thanks for letting me know! At least I still have time to get free samples with my next order! oh and Sugared Mint is amazing and is in my 'heatwave survival kit' for summer
  8. I'm curious but...was it me who inspired the Sugared Egyptian Musk? And I absolutely adore fried bananas. Such a shame there's alcohol in the Sugared Berries (means that big bottles can't go international-maybe samples can though...)
  9. Sugared Egyptian musk sounds even better than just Sugared Musk! I love E-musk scents, and with sugar? *swoons*
  10. Yay! Sugared Mint...and vanilla mint? I want them both, yes I do! The Chakra one looks interesting too.
  11. I think it might have been me who suggested the sugared honey but I may be wrong... What other scents are coming?
