  1. I don't have any issues with marriage, just marriage for me. Personally I feel it is an outmoded and potentially oppressive institution, an institution that we are brainwashed into believing we must enter into. But I realize that for many it is a sacred commitment, and they're welcome to it. I want my own life, no matter what. I'll let Joni sum it up for me (again, just me): We don't need no piece of paper from the City Hall keepin' us tried and true, no.
  2. I'd rather endure six consecutive root canals while on fire. Just sayin.' Years ago some perfumerie made a "Naughty Santa" scent (think distinctly holiday vice-ridden male, heh)...someday I'd love to have something like that. *purr*

    Pomme de Poison

This one is truly a poison apple on me. Overwhelmingly metallic, and that's just not on me, but in the vial too. I have no idea what note is causing it, although usually benzoin does for me. I guess ginger too, M says that's the note in Super for Women which makes it smell like that...so maybe the spices. *sigh*
  4. Ah...but as Master Quince proclaimed one early early morning as he lay in a post-coital stupor: Whatever Pussy wants, Pussy gets.
  5. Christmas candles usually smell like bayberry.
  6. Dude, why wait for the rug? AND I SAW WHUT YOU DID THAR. In other news...Sugared Amber Patch? *faints*
  7. I haven't read the first one...but the second one is very helpful. There's a thread in the Off Topic forum regarding sex books, I'll see if I can find it and bring it back up to the top.
  8. Coco De Mer is extremely expensive, that's my only caveat. But they've got nice stuff. I say try the honey flavor, that's the one I'm most curious about.
  9. Sounds like you may be the beta tester! Master Quince and I are using products by Coco De Mer right now so I know it'll be a while before I order anything new.
  10. I heard the funniest thing on TMZ last night - Vivica A. Fox was coming out of a store, I think, and their cameraman was there and he asked her if she was a cougar, and she admitted it, and then he asked if a woman was under forty were they a cougar and she said no, and he asked what they would be, and she said, "If she's under forty she's a puma."
  11. That's a universal thing, actually...it's why they have His4Her, for example.
  12. The "glittery" quality you're describing has to do with a characteristic of ultra-refined sugar: it's clean and light. The less refined, or the more molasses added, the stronger and denser the scent.
  13. As I noted up thread, Mara read the recipe to me over the phone, and white sugar was not one of the ingredients, IIRC, just brown sugar. There is, as I stated in my review, mahogany as the wood note.
  14. Bonne chance, ma amie. *salutes you* And hey, you're The Hanged Man right now...CHANGES. Maybe some sacred sluttery is just what you need. (you know I mock with love, so hush, honey )
  15. ...and I'm going to mail it to your KSBF. THERE IS NO ESCAPING.
  16. *moves glasses to bridge of nose, puts on best imperious expression* Hmm...the hard-ass lit lecturer in me says mixing venacular and proper terminology is okay in speech but not in writing. However, as obvious bias prevails, I'm giving you a pass. For now.
  17. I love the way this smells in the vial, that lovely bright raspberry note supported by a lush creaminess. But my skin turns it to plastic, alas.
  18. OMG are we related? Although my Piscean nature will not allow for the first two I've got that last one in spades.
  19. Dude that's, like, my dream come true! :pumpkin:
  20. I can't speak to Heart and Soul just yet, although it strikes me as being more social but can be a relationship enhancer when paired with the appropriate setting and agenda. And of course I have blogged about this but I'll give you an executive summary. The way it works for me: Ail's Cuddle Bunny: establishes trust and security and chivalry. P-com Cuddle Bunny: stupid horny, instant intense oneness. Sexology: stupid horny with the giggles, fun sweet sex and deep conversation.
  21. Heh, when I first started talking about Quince here (after we had talked about me talking about him) I referred to him as the OTL (one true love), because he despises the term boyfriend and it doesn't do justice to what he is. But also because it's not a typical relationship, I suppose if we lived together or even saw each other more than we actually do I might ascribe a more typical label to him. Day = Open Windows, okay sure...but if you want a professional edge possibly Dominance, possibly Swimming With Sharks? Night = sexual thrall, you say? Remember pheromones will enhance that state but you have to prove that you'll do anything he could possibly imagine, and then in the times apart he will imagine it, and want it that much more in your encounters whenever they may occur. But pheromones alone are not going to convince him you're the Queen of his Desire...only you can do that. Blatant Invitation, okay sure...maybe layered with some Heart and Soul, although if you want soulmate-type bonding in the afterglow I'm going to say what you don't want to hear...EST. Sexology is a good tool for this as well, believe me. I know you don't like EST, but if you really want him to think of you in ways other than sexual, then EST is the best way to achieve that for most men. It makes them believe they can trust you.
  22. Hey sometimes you have to go the extra mile for the good stuff...I bought a bottle of tonquin musk from a hunters/trappers supply place a while back and it's...interesting. P(eache)S: yet another one the damned hoarders (Mara: ) are going to go crazy over.
  23. Heh, part of the reason I said that was our conversation this morning and Mara said, "I'm surprised you didn't just know psychically," (i.e. about her recent thing). It's like a party line!
  24. It seems like I have to say this every month, but this time I'll just assume you can hear me in your head.

    Hexen

Oooh, I think I just found a tea scent that Q can wear, as there's absolutely no citrus. Using it in meditation has really assisted in restoring a sense of calm (and of course the blue chamomile helps with that too), even as I'm not really a big fan of herbals, but the tea - as in other LPMPs with tea I've tried - is lovely.
