I’m staying with a friend temporarily as I move out of state. I love her & am very appreciative of her kindness... but she is psychotic. She is very neurotic about certain things & very sensitive in general. That & she talks way too much and doesn’t shut up. I don’t have other options so I thought I could diffuse something in the house or wear something on myself. I literally am at my wits end, any help appreciated! 

Yes, I have a couple opportunities this week to experiment so I will! I also didn’t know alchohol as in drinking can effect pheros, interesting. ??. Thank you for your help!!!!

You can put the UN Treasured Hearts on your wrists and the tops of your hands, especially if you talk with your hands a lot. I do this all the time with my UN pheros and it works really well. I would put some Liebchen in your hair so the Treasured Hearts disperses and you smell good as well. Just remember not to use too much so you don't ghost. Good luck!

The bachelorette party hasn’t commenced as of yet, it’s happening next weekend. 

I purchased a sample of Leibchen w/treasured hearts and a pherotine dropper of un Treasured hearts. How do I put this to good use? I’m thinking I should have bought alchohol spray because I doubt I’ll be that close to anyone, let alone hug anyone besides the bride to be, who is of course the one already on my team. But the rest...ughh what do I do? Am I screwed? 

I will! And I initially only was interested in a plain pheromone but Liebchen does sound nice I just might try them together.  

Sounds like treasured hearts is going to be my best bet! And yes, I’m going to have fun, go with the flow and support the bride  . I’m thinking this will def help! 

Thanks you two! I did read the description for Tresured Hearts & that might be the way to go. Although when I did read the girl/girl description minus the sexually attracted part, it seemed like a good bet because of the girl/girl bonding. I just want to be more welcomed into this group as they’re really tight knit and I’m outside their circle. 

Has any experienced the girl/girl pheromone in a mean girl setting? I’m going to a bachelorette party & I get along great with the bride to be, but her friends not so much. Will this help? Any advice? 

Hi pinknika! Check out the trading post! You can trade/purchase scents other members tried, that they dont like/dont want, and you can usually get them for a little less. Some members also have deals on samples (samples they've gotten from LPMP), 4 for $10, and I've even seen 6 for $10, so If you want to test many before you buy a bottle, it's definitely a way to go. Just read the rules for trading/purchasing because Mara set up a system to minimize 'swaplifting' BUT swapping/trading on the forum is at your own risk. I've purchased from 3 members so far, and have had no issues, as this seems to be a nice/honest community of folks. Its a good way to save a little money for the big bottles you like!

 

And if you're active in reviewing scents on the forum (LPMP or Pherothruth), you can get 2 free samples ONCE per month (not on PEs or UNs though), with a $25 purchase. Theres a link at the top in the gift shoppe, I think. AND theres a Buy two, Get 1 deal on selected scents...skim though Bisou's intro thread, I think the list of scents is posted (no pheros though)...not sure how the B2G1 works, or for how long, but its also a deal I saw recently. A lot of women here tell their partners they're using pheros. I have several reasons why I'd rather my partner not know, but I may change my mind in the future.

It is fun testing things out on him now, when he doesn't know. It makes it much easier to gauge his responses. He's sorta predictable, so when there's a change in behaviour it's easy to spot.

I keep scheming and replanning my next order, (and the next, and the next), trying to figure out how I can get a few of the UNs, some boosted scents, and some unphero'd scents, too, but I always have to scale back, 'cause the order winds up being something ridiculous like $500! Haha! I think that in the end I'll probably boost and use some UNs. I suppose it depends on what works for me.

Right now I need a money potion to keep me in LPs!

Well, I am not sure if it's the best idea because it actually wastes a lot of perfume, I dip a cotton ball in each vial and label it with those tiny long sticky notes and let them dry. It's like when you go to a dept store and you spray the paper strip, something like that. I like smelling my perfume that way, it's super crazy and a waste but it's something I do with all my perfumes before I put them on my skin.. lol. I know what you mean, I need a $$$ potion too HA.

So I was a hit!! Everything went really well and I had a great time. I did do a trial run of far far away on Friday afternoon, I didn't get good self effects maybe because there were a lot of factors going on (sleepy, hungry and irritated) I was also at work so that probably could have been a factor. However, Sat night, I used up my whole sample and and really doused myself and everything went great, course the few drinks I had could have also been a factor but the phero was a little boost that I really wanted. Thanks everyone for your rec's! I'm sure I am going to be needing this blend more often, so I'll have to get a full size

Now me, they both work and both give self-fx. I happen to ADORE PP and actually have taken to rolling on just the unscented PP before a phone-in interview, let alone a public speaking engagement or such (as an author, I do lots of those) and it really does seem to create exactly the effect I want - in me, and my audience if they're present - I am a superstar, but an approachable, friendly superstar!

 

(And my writing mentor - and family - are working hard on boosting my self-image and self-esteem to make me feel like it more and more, so that helps!)

That's great that it's working for you! I still have to try it again, and maybe get the UN version. And your really lucky to have mentors and family to help you, I need to improve it myself, hopefully pheros could help me in that area.

Do a test run. If there are hot lights or odd ventilation the perfume might diffuse too quickly or not enough. You don't want to OD when this is primarily for self-effects. You also want an idea of your 'sweet spot' of amount of perfume + time evaporating. A spray on your chest will probably work for a cloud of Oomph! around your head. Or a little roll on the back of your hand and then smear your hand across your neck.

Use a little under the amount you think you will need and carry extra for refreshing.

I'm trying to keep my phero use discreet too, (in other words, trying not to let the boyfriend know), but he doesn't know I've been reading about them or trying them out. He just thinks I've found some perfumer that I love, so my tactic has been to ask him about every single scent I try, because I know that eventually he'll just shake his head and say that they all smell the same, and lose interest, which means he won't bother to really look at my perfumes! Lol! He's kinda predictable that way.

But it's very, very nice to know that I'm getting honest to goodness reactions from him, (or not, as the case may be), because he doesn't know. I like that.

Like Halo suggested, I'm considering trying the UNs. Iwould love to boost everything I buy, but it's not a financially feasible thing for me to do, (considering I want one of almost every perfume I've tried so far!). I like the versatility of the UNs, too, because it'd be nice to choose both the phero and perfume for the day, depending on how I feel.

Oh! And the Mara Maneuver is the Lollipop method: roll in cleavage down and around the belly button, (like an upside down lollipop).

Speaking of being discreet...I went into my room earlier and what I wanted to do was separate my samples into perfume swatches and label them, and I use rubber gloves when I do this too so I don't mix all the fragrances and get them on my fingers because I really want to smell them separately with the dry down before I apply them to my skin, I know I'm crazy lol and prob not too smart because skin changes the smell of everything but anyhoo back to my story...so I'm wearing gloves and have these vials in my hand and Im sitting on the floor in the bedroom and I look all mad scientist like, and my boyfriend walks in. Im like HEY!! Don't come in here!! He looks at me like I'm crazy, he's like...okay...what?? lol. I'm like go away ha ha. He's like okay..freakshow lol.

But it's fun experimenting on the unknowing...lol. But I'm pretty sure he knows. I had the laptop on the couch and (we live in a very very small one bedroom house) so theres no where to go and my computer desk is my slash my makeup station lol, so I can't use my computer and well he just happens to glance over a couple weeks ago and he was like "PHEROMONES??!!" I'm like NOOO. Pfff.

Sorry for the long story, I'm feeling really chatty right now I guess, maybe cause I just got done sniffing all my samples ha ha. But I too want to consider using the UN's...theres just so many and I would want a complete set of everything and we know thats just not realistic with my budget. But I'll have to figure out a way somehow lol.

Cougar doesn't make young men jump all over me (haha) but it does seem to make people of both genders chattier and friendlier. The scented one is a very pleasant grapefruit blend.

Yeah I want to try that one! Especially the blend, grapefruit is right up my alley!

Everyone has petty much hit on everything I was gonna say. Once you get out there and start, your jitters will go away! I dont perform any arts, but I do A LOT of public speaking, particulary with very large groups of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc, so they can be an intimidating bunch. And everytime, no matter if I've done it 100 times, I ALWAYS get nervous, but once I get started, I get comfortable, and its a breeze. I usually like to use a bit of humor/sarcasm periodically during my lecture/speech...because I feel awesome when I make people laugh Not that you can throw a joke out there since you'll be singing! But once you get started, it'll breeze by, and you'll feel AWESOME!

 

Another thing is to dress your best, with awesome hair/makeup, because when you know you LOOK amazing you're more confident too! You're gonna blow em away!!

Thats usually what happens to me, I am a straight mess until I get on the stage and begin..then I'm cool and I've got it. I am planning to look my best, I'm like hell, if I look good then who cares ha ha, it does help tho! And thanks, I hope I blow them away-in a good way!! lol . Its seriously been a while, I'm hoping I can get back on that horse so to speak.

Really good advice given !...I agree with Audacious,hey you have time give it a trial run,with a drink too,then no surprises...I would spray onto your chest and back of hands.

I would have suggested PP to woo the crowd but because you need to boost your self-confidence, I'd go with Audacious for the self-effects (even though I have not tried it before ...tsk, tsk, tsk!).

 

If a drink helps you in loosen you up and helps to settle down then why not? I'm don't drink at all (I used to nurse OJ at bars) and I have started having half a glass of wine when I go out recently even when I'm all phero'd up. I guess as long as you know how much drinks you can hold down, there's nothing wrong with having some alcohol and using pheros.

 

However, spraying your face with a beta (home-made or professional mixed) may not be a good idea. Imagine it goes into your eyes ...... What about dabbing some just under your nose if you feel that having the oils/spray on your clothes and more on the upper part of your body doesn't work? Since you will be holding the mic, the back of your hands should work as well.

 

Guess that's all I have to add on a Friday morning. Enjoy yourself and you'll be okay, in fact, you will be great!

Ha ha, I didn't mean exactly spray into my face, although I was trying to sound like I am going to really shower myself, and am willing to spray EVERYWHERE if I have to lol. And I will try the nose thing .And yeah im planning not to overdo it with the drinks, just one to loosen me up. So I should be ok

Audacious makes me feel fearless, brave and not only sexy, but sooo beautiful and like I'm able to do anything I put my mind into...I get the greatest self-effects with this blend, plus everyone around you will absolutely fall in love with your voice and your presence!

 

I've drinked before wearing Audacious and the ''happy'' effect does magnify, but I didn't feel super drunk or any nausea...Everyone is different, maybe it would be wise to just have one glass of wine...

Audacious all the way. I have both and when I have had to do a solo project Audacious is what I choose over DC because DC simply doesn't do a thing for me haha! Love the scent but the PP phero has never had any noticable effect for me.

BTW, what's wrong w/ sexual pheros to perform? Are you performing a slow, sensuous bluesy song? (then I'd go for Mara's Rocket fuel or something sexxaay)

 

I wore what's considered a sexual phero for a solo dance performance and for me it worked. Gave me the confidence I needt to feel bad ass.

I will def try audacious then, I'm not give up on DC I will have to try that a bunch more times. Well, I wasn't going to discount the sexual ones all together but since you suggested it, I might give it a shot as well..I am actually doing a bunch of pop/dance songs but a few are sexy. If I spray audacious and maybe rocketful or sexology, do you think it would be an ok mix?? I would hate to mix stuff up that shouldn't be mixed, I haven't really researched too much...but it should be ok maybe?

I am going to be singing at an event this saturday in front of 250 + people, I haven't done this in a while and was wondering out of my blends, what should I choose to be confident and reassure myself. I have some sexual blends, but I think the ones that would make most sense is either far far away, which has audacious, or darling c with the popularity, I thought cougar would have been great but I don't have it..so out of those 2 which do you think? I also will probably have a glass of wine or anything before hand to supress the nervous jitters, and I know that alcohol and pheros shouldn't be mixed..but I think in this case, I need it lol. I have tried darling c and didn't have good results BUT that was ONE time, so I'm thinking whatever I choose, I am going to dilute it with alchohol and spray it in in my face lol...well, spray a really good amount and make sure I am saturated enough..any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you!!

It kind of depends. The scented mixes are great for getting your feet wet and trying lots of them inexpensively. BUT if what you are really after is the pheros you might do better trying some of the UNs. I didn't start getting outrageous big hits until I started with the UNs. The exception is the cops. Scented cops work wonderfully well on me. But the caveat is that I have a pretty high threshhold for pheros. Some people like Tyvey are very sensitive and get hits with a lot less than me.

I think I'll have to seriously experiment, I'm not sure how my body chemistry reacts to pheros because I am so inexperienced but I think what i'll do is try some of the unscented ones and see what happens. I still have to experiment with my samples too, I probably would use all those up before I make a decision. It would be nice to be sensitive to them and not use as much, but I might be one of those kinds that need a whole lot before any I get any hits.

I'm 25, is age a big factor in what products that might work best? The samples I got were a lot of sexual stuff, and of course others like the audacious blend, and darling c and open windows. I was hoping to try everything lol
