GREAT post CC! Those are some of my favorite kind! Do you have oil or spray and how much did you wear? :) I have it in spray and haven't gone higher than 4 at a clip but I'd be curious to know how much oil others use too :D

Before I receive my x1 spray, I will run the roller ball lightly on my hair 3-4 times which is about 6 inches in total.

When using both oil & beta, its 1-2 sprays and oil on torso.

I have finished a bottle in oil and will be cracking open a bottle in silicone soon.

I wore a ton of PP a few days ago. My BF totally catered to me. We were running around doing errands. I mentioned I was hungry and he became obsessed with buying me lunch. I didn't want to eat anything in the part of town we were in because it was all fast food. He was like oh no, you can't have McDonalds, you need something better than that. Which was weird because he had had McDonald's himself a few hours ago. He had already eaten so he wasn't concerned with getting himself anything, just me. Usually he's kinda cheap. But after our errands were done and on the way home, he drove to the other side of town to a healthy hippie place that is expensive and treated me to lunch. Which was weird considering we were on the way home and I could have eaten at home just as easily. I know this was due to the PP. I am loving it!

Oh yeah, and ummm, I hate being the center of attention, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm like this as well; I enjoy one-on-one attention but otherwise I always get extremely uncomfortable under even positive scrutiny. What I like about PP is what it does for me in terms of being more outgoing when I feel the situation requires it, and then others responding postively to my mood and demeanor.

In the realm of social pheros, this is one of my favourite LP blends! Without fail, it delivers exactly what the label promises: a popularity potion!

Whereas, for me, the La Femme blends wraps the wearer in an aura of exquisite glamour... haute couture, red carpet, blue blood aristocracy... a Golden Age of Cinema Movie Star.... a glamour which I absolutely relish and in which I love to envelop myself...

And, whereas Topper gives me that playful, joyful, giddy Party Girl/Rock Star vibe... which most certainly has its appeal for certain scenarios and which is over-the-top fun for Girls Night Out....

Popularity Potion gives me this balance of the two, a definite Superstar aura which is very comfortably approachable; warmly and wonderfully friendly yet still imbuing one with Celebrity Status.

I find that men, women; adults/children are equally positively influenced by this blend. Everyone adores me; everyone wants to be beside me; everyone wants to talk to me; and everyone compliments me in some fashion. Little kids, complete strangers, talk to me, blow kisses, and even take my hand in elevators and stores; women gush over me and confide in me; and, men... well, men flirt, some in a friendly, casual way... the way they do when they are making it clear this is just a way of showing respectful appreciation of feminine beauty, wit, and charm... and, others outrageously, still respectfully but much more clearly with intent and desire.

And, the PERKS! Superstar treatment!

At the doctor's office:"Is there anything else you need? I just made some fresh tea; would you like some? Oh, I notice you are reading XYZ magazine; would you like the newest edition... Do you need me to copy that article for you? We have cookies and brownies in the break room; can I get you one?"with every other waiting room client nodding and smiling, completely happy and supportive of this obvious preferential treatment.

At the airport: Normally, it would be a $169 fee to change flight date/time and really, since I bought the ticket through Priceline Name Your Price special, no changes should be allowed. I mean, there's a reason it was such a cheap ticket!: "We have a non-stop flight leaving three hours before your flight. It would be so much more comfortable for you. I can get you a seat; this isn't even standby. Would you like me to make that change for you?" And, in the security line, super-gorgeous young Russian dude (yummy!) who had been traveling for over 24 hours, upon learning my flight, due to the aforementioned ticket change, was boarding in 45 minutes, quickly arranged for the 10 -12 people immediately in front of us to let me ahead and then, when even that wasn't to his satisfaction, he called staff over, who began apologizing profusely for the delays and inconvenience and proceeded to escort me through the first class line, to the sounds of cheers from the line (some of whom had flights themselves which were boarding in a similar time frame; yet I was seen by them as in need of their help/support and they were genuinely pleased to provide it... And staff were equally pleased to respond to my request that those people with flights boarding within 45 minutes be likewise brought to the head of the line... again, to cheers from the line. It was so funny; no one was truly in danger of missing their flight, the line really was moving along suitably; but the line simply developed this supportive cohesive nature in which it just made sense to help each, to cheer each other, to wish each other well)

In stores: discounts, compliments, preferential treatment, gift certificates (including a $150GC at the salon I patronize)

I want to emphasize that each and every kindness is responded to with an utmost sense of gratitude, respect, and awareness of my responsibility to "pay these kindnesses forward" through equally generous acts of my own such as the $150 GC being seen as a donation towards the pro bono hypnosis treatment work I do with low-income clients/at the low-cost dental clinic, etc.

WOW Chai! And I was just glad to get out for the night  Glad you're seeing such positive results everywhere! And the "pay these kindnesses forward" outlook is beautiful

Last night I met a friend out at an Irish Pub....what better place to wash away any sorrows from the day? They had a live band and all the laughing and flirting and carrying on was much needed that evening.

It has turned COLD here again - AND rainy to boot - YUCK! So I pulled out my warm, but slinky, black sweater dress. It's long sleeved and a turtleneck - warm AND comfy!

The pub is a huge old beautiful building with high ceilings and gorgeous wood and brick/stone work...and there are a lot of other local bars nearby for "pub crawling" on days the weather is more accommodating! It's a small old city but I commute a good distance to work and have to travel through it to get there so I've picked up on some of the hangouts there ^_~ It's your average pub fair but the people are great and it's next to a convention center and there are a couple colleges near by so it's a mixed crowd and A LOT of fun! Check in out if you're ever in this city...

http://anniebaileysirishpub.com/

Wore 4 sprays Popularity Potion to my sweater, OCCO White along jawline and backs of hands along with Scotchies (Irish theme, lol) and 3 spritzes of DHEAS to top it all off. We laughed and flirted and had a great time, but I had to call it an early night to get home for when hubs got off work @ midnight so we paid our tab and squeezed our way back to the door. After 10pm this place gets PACKED quick! So it's like pushing through a sardine can to get out...not complaining though :666:

Got home minutes after hubby, who liked what he saw, hehehe, and lets just say I had help getting out of my sweater...and everything else :666::ange:

Good night last night.....

I have purchased almost everything in oil and think I need to start getting the sprays now!! I'll be wearing the PP to my Step Sister's house tomorrow. It worked so beautifully on Easter that I'll definitely be repeating what worked on them. I'm actually looking forward to going over there now.

I love Darling Catalina, but it makes my melon hurt sometimes, so I don't wear it as often as I'd like. The upside: I will have my bottle for a very, very long time. When I get PP, I'm definitely getting it as a spray. Very nice reviews, ladies! :)

OK, reading all these lovely posts made me grab my precious Darling Catalina bottle and head out to Home Depot an hour ago. Yeah, it's a fun place to practice flirting skills on the weekend, believe it or not! Took my teen-aged son with me so I looked respectable prowling up and down the aisles. (Hee!) He wanted a new "tanning chaise" for the backyard, so we had a goal.

IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! In fact, I'd forgotten how well this one works in public. Everyone who came within the "phero aura" smiled, made a friendly comment, or was extra nice beyond expectation. It wasn't quite the Princess response Chai experienced, but then, I'm not as adorable as she is! (is anyone?!?) Even so, after a while it almost became tedious having to smile and sparkle back at every.darn.person.I.passed.

But I did help me find my sweet spot for the phero -- stripes on each arm, ring around the collar, and a lollipop with extra dipping sauce (because it was a low-ish cut top).

Time to buy a full bottle of the un phero. And to update my Home Depot shopping list!

OMG.....This just cracked me up because this is where I wore mine today. Yes, Home Depot. I went in for stone cleaner and if the workers in there had it their way, I would have been walking out with the store. I think the best moment is when a young, gay gentleman wouldn't stop following me around and talking to me. That was pretty interesting!

That is hilarious, CC! Who'da thought Home Depot would be such a hot spot for phero testing!! I know the Home Depot folks are trained to be nice and friendly and all that, but I've shopped there before sans Popularity Potion and it was NOT an exciting experience. Nor did other customers smile and start conversations the way they did today. The only difference between the prior boring shopping trips and today's very vivacious shopping trip was -- the Popularity Potion!

Shall we make plans to shop Home Depot next weekend with a different phero and compare notes again?!! :Emoticons0804:

I have some UN coming in a trade today. Researching so I don't OD.

want so bad! I feel like I need to keep repeating: I will only use my phero

powers for good, not evil...I will only use my phero powers for good not evil.

but then the other side of me wants to repeat the Harry Potter open sesame line:

I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I think I'm going with the latter. but at least I'll have fun saying Mischief Managed

at the end of the night when I bathe.

I wore this out for dinner with my daughter to a resturant which opened about 6 months back. I had OCCO Ambrosia mixed in a vanilla body lotion, some Midnight Masquerade and two sprays of UN PP beta. I usually do not use pheros around my children but it was a special night for my daughter and I. We were going on a dinner date, just mom and daughter and thus we made up and dressed up for the occassion.

We were super late for our reservation as the road leading to the resturant was closed (it was across from the US Embassy) so we had to do a detour which sat us back for more than 20 mins. Then, we walked in the wrong direction and got to the resturant 45 mins late.

She was the only child in the resturant. We had the option to go to the bakery, the grill or the rooftop - I made that clear when I reserve the table earlier in the day. It was quite chilly so we ended up in the grill as with most people.

The service was quite unattentive even though there were a number of service staff hanging around the bar. However, we had the pleasure of being served by the manager and assistant manager throughout the evening, particularly the manager who came to our table a number of times to check on us.

BB- I wore this yesterday and a very small amount today and I'm also struggling to get any hits.

Yesterday I used too much but didn't notice anything really, and today I only did a small 3 inch strip.

Think I might take a break from it and try it again in a few days. I don't know if it's it or me (my time of the month)

Not BB but I usually use some cops with PP. I usually use it in oil and beta use together with oil to spread the phero cloud.

With oil only, I think I use more than 3 inches, more like 5 on my torso, otherwise it'll be applied on my hair. With my beta bottle, I use less oil. It's usually applied to my exposed chest/breast and hair. I can get heavy handed when it comes to pheros.

beta bottle?

Well yesterday I reread everything and a few people mentioned that they can't overdo this so I figured what the heck and put a bunch on the back of my neck, all over my arms, and then a lot on the back of my hands. I do feel that I should have used a perfume with a stronger throw, as I used Xehua Xing in oil, which is a favorite but it's a bit too gentle.

I ended up having a good time, but then felt off from salty mexican food for lunch and then my time of the month hit that night so any "offness" that I might have ascribed to OD could very likely have been that stuff instead. I have some Drop Your Guard and Stone Cougar to play with so I'm going to try that this weekend and try the PP again next week. I need to try the cops-- I get nervous though because I only want to wear them around my boyfriend or at work. I'm a pretty competent and aware person to the point of paranoia so maybe I should just give myself some slack and be less worried about cops in public.

MissHazel, I used to be scared to wear cops in public, too. For the first few months I had them, I wouldn't wear them out of the house. But then one night I did, and it was no biggie. You do have to be aware of your surroundings. But it's not as scary as it seems. At all. The only places I avoid them now are around my dad, ('cause that just squicks me out), and work, because I figure that a testosterone boost can also make men more aggressive, and my boss already has a bad enough temper. I don't want to accidentally set him off.

I can't wear PP when I'm hormonally challenged. My sweet spot consists if a small dab and for me, best when paired with PM. I slathered it with I LOVE ME (vs the depression I usually feel) results in Darling Catalina but the UN is tricky. Small dab - more is insta "B"

beta bottle?

Oops ... I have most of my UNs in DPG and pheros that I like, I have ordered a bottle of, generally 100% or 60/40, to use together with the oil to help spread the pheros.

ah, I see. So do they end up being the same formula as what eventually is released?

Link to comment

LPs and all the phero blends were originally only offered as oils. It's the spray form itself that was the beta test. Now they're just called "sprays". I think the folks at LP just wanted to see how well pheros and perfumes would be received in a spray format as opposed to the oil. The formulas are the same.

Cannot seem to make this one work for me. Nothing obvious and I've tried (and will keep tryibg for a lttle while.) I've used little dots and I've slathered and I've applied just normal arm stripes.

Question: can men use this on themselves? May test this on boyfriend and his friend and see what reactions they get.

There's nothing overtly feminine in it aside from Est...I'd say give it a whirl! The first couple times I wore it I had to feel out effect by others reactions bc I didn't notice self effects. This one works, it's just seems to be more subtle, but I have gotten GREAT hits off of it too since then, so I guess it depends on who is sensitive to the mones in it. Sometimes it take a while of use to "understand" a blend...maybe you're just in the curve :)
