The pomander possesses a long association with royalty...some of the recipes for the creation of the scented balls housed in precious metal ornaments were created by members of various royal courts around the world, as they had easy access to the materials of perfumery. Beyond its decorative and sensual aspects, the pomander was also a necessity in the Middle Ages as protection against a very odorous existence. Our opulent revision is a lighter feminine version of the traditional recipe: benzoin and an orange-vanilla cream form the heart of the mix, deepened with ambergris, clove bud and sweet clove EOs, woody amber resin, cedar leaf EO, labdanum EO, then sweetened with a tiny touch of apple butter, brown sugar and a dash of chai spices.

BENZOIN ~ Prosperity, astral projection, purification.
ORANGE/VANILLA/CREAM~ Strong 'magnet' to attract men; eternal love, marriage, fruitfulness, thoughtfulness, happiness, tribute. Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing. Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy.
AMBERGRIS ~ Increases personal power, heightens sexual responses, dreaming.
SWEET CLOVE & CLOVE BUD EOs ~ Money attracting, deflects negative and hostile energies
LABDANUM ~ One of the oldest known perfume ingredients. Considered holy, used in tribute, and as a sense-memory tool to stimulate the subconscious. Said to revive long forgotten memories and feelings.
CEDAR LEAF EO ~ Confidence inducing, balancing, grounding, energizing, money, healing, protection, purification.
WOODY AMBER RESIN ~ Fertility, creativity, love, luck, riches.
APPLE BUTTER ~ Love, healing, fertility, good luck , happiness, immortality, fortelling spells.
BROWN SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing.
CHAI SPICES ~ Male sexual stimulation, passion, lust, healing, protection, energy, creativity, psychic powers.
