If one spends enough time exploring the Petrified Forest, they might come across a certain tree where sharp claws created deep marks, the sign of affection between two prehistoric swift seizers who met their end together...their hearts forever preserved in the earth below us all.

 

Life was challenging for Velociraptorinae in the late Cretaceous Period, and love was often sudden, following by an equally speedy demise at the claws and teeth of fellow predators. But this pretty pair (Hey, they found each other very attractive!) had plans to settle down in the forest and raise a brood as their parents had done, but strange things were afoot...a bright light moved closer and closer to the land from out of the sky. Then one day The End came for their kind as the bright light enveloped the entire world, but in their last moments they clung to one another with the devotion born out of sudden extinction.

 

This is the scent of Rapturous Reveries and Primal Love: ancient resins and redwoods, smoky Arabian incense and a touch of spice. You might find yourself positively ecstatic to experience it...even if The End Is Near (again).

 

AMBERGRIS ~ Increases personal power, heightens sexual responses, dreaming.
AMBER ~ Fertility, creativity, love, luck, riches.
CIVET ~ Musk derived from civet cats, now illegal except in synthetic form. Considered a strong aphrodisiac, has an intense, animal, 'sexual' aroma.
HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive; use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover. Happiness, fulfillment.
INDIAN OUD (Agarwood) ~ Love, aphrodisia, spirituality, health.
REDWOOD ~ Protection, love, success, power.
PIMENTO LEAF ~ Luck, health, prosperity, money, love.
SMOKE ~ In addition to the attributes of whatever is being burned (resins, woods, etc), smoke is for cleansing, purification, renewal, consecration, concealment and celebration.
