All night-blooming flowers are considered dangerously sensual, as they yield their scents to the velvet darkness, but perhaps none so potent as tuberose, known as the Mistress of the Night. In those places where the blooms glow pale like moonlight among the creepers and vines of the jungle, a fairy might become intoxicated by the fragrance and swoon within the arms of a pursuing lover, either human or fae. The passion is deep and thrilling, but to lose one’s senses so completely to the night is a path very carefully tread...but one which is unforgettable in its expression.
