:(

I actually love her 70s Casablanca-era stuff, but what's funny is I recently got into with someone regarding "I Feel Love" and the original source of the all-electronic track. Long story, but I just had to have a chuckle at the congruence of this.

its synchro-mystic !

I have "I feel Love" on my PC lol,

Im rarely in the mood to go dancing but *if* I do, I love disco and (this is SICK) but I LOVE when rock bands cover disco and funk it all up.

Its like they are trying to make it a joke and it comes out sounding f*ing great.

I agree, it's really great when the two merge.

One of the interesting coincidences (which was only a matter of the Fortein "Steam Engine Time" theory) occurred in 1976 when both Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin wrote songs in the style of The Funky Meters, a band they both admired. And both songs are definitely a case of a hard rock band trying to get funky, and they do, but in a very distinctive way. And those songs likely influenced the next generation to attempt hybrids of their own.
