androstenol
I applied a few strokes of this heavenly concoction today, because it's a dreary rainy day in November and the theme just seemed to fit. My bottle is now 7 years old and 3/4 empty. There is an evolution going on with the scent as @halo0073described on this thread on 2014. I am getting the dark amber, earth, and fallen wet leaves. It smells to me like an ode to the transition from early fall to frost - that time when the earth seems to exude an extra amount of scent from added moisture (here in the Pacific Northwest at least). The fig/vanilla to my mind has changed to a late winter apple scent. Very very comforting for a night on the couch with cuddles. I aim to use this up before winter starts, and then invite new energies into my life. I tend to hold onto bottles for dear life (this one being a prime example) but I sense the time has come to be thankful that this was in my life, and then let it go. 🍂
