In the 2016 test - with a positive result - the participants did not know they were being exposed to pheromones. In the 2017 test, they did know. And right there, you have to throw it out the window. People have pre-conceived notions about pheros and additionally, people tend to act stubbornly when challenged about not being in control of their urges or feelings, so the default response would probably be - 'it didn't effect me either way'. For those that use them regularly, we know that we get more genuinely authentic responses when those around us do not know.

The site is all PayPal. However, we have Square in the physical shop, so if anyone doesn't want to use PayPal we can do a CC payment over the phone via Square. We are attempting to keep the site lighter and less cumbersome than the old one, so we will be continuing to use Etsy for the Going, Going, Gone section and other extremely limited items like PEs. Has anyone else tried to make an account?

Yeah, they are everywhere, thanks for calling that to my attention! We keep switching back and forth from editing to viewing and definitely missed that this is showing in the final version. The site is completely independent of the message boards so you have to join each on their own. Good question, thanks, Bella! The new Pheromone page kind of acts like that page, and I may put up a new Wiki in the Reading Room. The old one needed to be updated and I haven't had the chance to do that yet. What part of it specifically do you miss? I could use the guidance in writing a new one. Thanks, Eggers!

This one will be making a return with a different phero - likely Blatant Invitation - as we have traditionally flipped back and forth between those two pheros for this one. I am currently recovering from surgery and can't lift the heavy oil bottles for another couple of months, but I promise you it's coming back as it's a customer fave.

So the website is getting ready to launch this weekend. It's a gigantic ordeal, moving it from the temp location of LPMP.store over to it's permanent home of LovePotionPerfume.com. We are going to lose all the old image files and links from the older site that we currently see here on the forum. I will be spending the next two days rescuing as many image files as I can before they are deleted, so we can reload them and eventually fix the broken image links here in the forum. I am keeping up the temp site of LuvPotionPerfume.com for at least a while - hopefully ordering will not be interrupted there - so we can iron out all the bugs and get everything functioning on the new site, but it will be an upheaval so I wanted everyone to know what's going on. When you are dealing with the sheer weight of a site like ours, with hundreds of pages and thousands of image files, it's no small task. There are still things that need doing on the new site like fixing tags and credits and such, but we can do that while it is live, we've all waited way too long for this. It all starts on Saturday and will take most of the day. Once it's up I will let you know, and you can explore, and also let us know where problems are hiding that we need to fix as well. And away we go!!!

@Eggers it usually just makes the scent weaker and the more fragile notes that burn off fastest on the skin anyway will be compromised. So it will still smell almost the same on the skin, it might not last as long tho. If there's a base of vegetal oil ( which we no longer use) you'd smell a slightly rancid note as well but dpg is odorless so that doesn't happen.

I'm gonna say that you've got about 3 weeks before noticeable damage occurs. Of course any time you can avoid extreme heat please do, and never store anything in your car regardless of time of year, they are a little more forgiving than you feared but they will eventually break down Scent and pheros both I mean.
