  1. Yeah, it really wouldn't suit a very young, cheerleader type, at all, would it? It's all about worldliness. Cultured, mysterious, womanliness.

Me LURVES lily-of-the-valley. Do I get a free bottle, with my next order, for being co-creator?
  3. WOWZA! I feel an order of samples coming on! And Beltaine! That;s GOTTA be good!
  4. That is an UTTERLY AMAZING collection! :dancingfruits0nm:
  5. Don't thank me, honey. It DICTATED that review. Thank yourselves!
  6. Look for a tiny notation that says "Note." Then, click on it. The box will open up.
  7. It will bring out your inner Ingrid-- or Trinity! :-)
  8. Short addendum: Infortunately, my skin eats this gorgeous blend. However, I have one of those great BPAL scent lockets, with a Beardsley "Salome" motif that suits this scent, perfectly. It preserves the scent for DAYS, without distrortion.
  9. I REALLY think I need some of this with either "Intellectual" or "Cougar Uncented." It's too sophisticated and worldly for "Super." This one actually transcends "neoteric," and embraces several eras. It's SO well blended, that I can't nail the notes. I can say that there is a very slight note of green, some muskiness, and that's all. The rest is a seductive cloud of the indefinable. It's a drop-dead mysterious and very subtle oriental; very, very sophisticated and womanly. It reminds me of the very fine French blends of the 30s. I can smell it on a sophisticated, 20s woman, in furs, a silky gown, and a cloche hat. I can smell it on Ingrid Bergman, as she boards an ocean liner, wearing a brimmed hat to partly conceal her lovely face. Jackie Kennedy might have worn this, as she murmered witticisms, in French, to a foreign dignitary. But, I can also smell it on Trinity from Matrix. The woman who wears this has a lot of presence. In her wake, men turn and look, enchanted by her mystery. This is a show-stopper. It could make men lose their train of thought in mid-sentence.

"Mighty Wind" was SUCH a hoot! It was such a great send-up for 60s folk artists that is was easy to tell WHICH artists were parodied. It was also filmed in my stomping grounds-- the Pasadena Playhouse, and Sierra Madre. I think people who liked it would elso enjoy, "Best in Show." :-)
  11. AND, I was wrong about it not lasting. I don't know why I couldn't smell it, for awhile. I :dancingfruits0nm: t lasted until morning.
  12. It doesn't last long on me, like the honeys do. But, it smells so beautiful, I will prolly scent locket it. :-) I didn't think I'd like it. I don't like smelling like a pancake, and my skin amps ginger. But, this is SOOO well blended! The maple is JUST enough! Just EXACTLY enough! I don't know what M&D did, but this is the FIRST ginger that didn't rear up and clobber the other ingredients, to death. The dry-down is butter-vanilla-amber. NUMMERS! :-)

So far, this is UTTER HEAVEN! I just put it on, so I will pist the drydown, later. It's freshly cut grass with sweet clover, underneath. I've always sought a true green grass scent, and never found one, before. If I pond or lake note creeps in, I'll be in heaven. If not, I'll love it, anyway. For some reason, after living in CA all these years, I am very homesick for IN. This is comforting and refreshing. I see a bottle in my near futire.
  14. WOW! OMFG, INDEED! SOOOOO glad to get a review from a man, BTW.

    Nasty Habits

    WOOHOO! :dancingfruits0nm: YOU GO, GIRL!
  17. Would you ladies PLEASE stop drooling? I already order too much! Maybe we can all live together in the same PoorHouse?;-) BTW- I have NEVER liked honied scents, before! Just THIS perfumers' honied scents! Now, I'm looking for a freakin' 12-Step Program!
  18. Me, too! Me SOOOO wants me set of March samples and me re-brewed PG bottle! Wish M & D could just shove the order through the computer cable!
  19. I bought a big bottle, unsnffed. Otherwise, I'd gave to join a PG 12-Steo group!
  20. But, as Freud said, "Und, zometimes a banana iss ONly a banana!"
  21. I haven't tried PB. But, I've tried PG and PC-C in my anatomy lab. The result is that my table of five people is the "happening" table. Everyone, including the prof, sort of gather around us, and enjoy good spirits. There's a lot of upbeat, class-relevant conversation, and sharing of information, and it all revolves around US.
  22. I got vertigon, while trying to choose! TOO much good stiff! So, I went for the sampler pack, and the new PG.. for starters!
  23. What addictive substance are you putting in the new phero blends? Just kidding, lurkers!;-) I spend a LOT of time, sniffing my wrists, and have pretty much abandoned the rest of my VERY extensive scent collection! I mean, my perfumes run into the late double or early triple digits, and they are ALL getting ignored! To say nothing of the time I spend chuckling over unexpected hits! "Oh.. there's that deer in the headlights look, again!" Really, though.. I almost had a panic attack, when you ran out of PG! The hell with the hits, I like the way it makes ME feel! BTW-- I've never liked the scent of honey or grapefruit, before. Now, I can't get ENOUGH!
