  1. I got the notice for the shipping for my latest order and I am very excited. Can't wait to try all the goodies.
  2. I didn't see a review for Abundance Of The Pharaohs, so I decided to write one. This review is for the proto I bought for musician's assistance fund sale. While it may be the similar to the original, I have no idea how the original smells, since I was not around while it was active for sale. It is a lovely light and fresh floral-resin scent. It reminds me slightly of the rain incense I would buy at a mall kiosk when I was in high school. Incidently, it blends nicely with May Day for work. May Day seems to blend well with some of my other favorites. If a rebrew is ever possible, I'd like to see this as a bath and body gel or body lotion. Very lovely indeed.
  3. I'm planning an order for later in the month. I'll have to try the new releases first.
  4. I totally agree with you on positive karma.
  5. I have order and I can't wait to smell all the goodies.
  6. I am surprised to see that this hasn't been selling out sooner. It is very grown up, complex and for me, the carnation is the dominating note. The rest of the scent notes lay close to the skin and are subtle. This is one of my new favorites.
  7. I had forgotten to add that since Autumn and Winter coming up soon, this would a great scent for those seasons. I'm looking forward to wearing this later in the year too.
  8. I might order a full bottle of Constant Craving eventually. I like the stuff you ordered. Since I ordered the sampler along with some other stuff, some full more full bottles could be in my future.
  9. I like the descriptions for the July 2009 releases. I haven't bought a sampler pack in a while, it's been about 50/50 on the releases for me lately. But the ingredients for the scents this month is more like way I like them. I tend to like florals, musks, resins, and sometimes earthy or green notes. Vanilla I always love. For some reason a scent with mostly fruit or wine notes doesn't always sit well with me or I end up hungry.
  10. I ordered a monthly sampler pack of the July 2009 releases. One bottle of Carolyn's Vanilla, Amber, Fig (can't wait to try this, I love all three ingredients). One bottle of Shelly B's Waves Of Lust, (it might be a bit too deep, I am not sure. I'll apply it with a light hand). And finally one bottle of Lynne's Temple Of The Goddess,(this could be another deep one, but I missed out on Ancient Goddess, So I'm giving this one a shot).
  11. I layered Autumn Mist with May Day and the two were very lovely together. Has anyone tried it as well?
  12. I'm off to sleep, so good night everyone. I hope we all get to order what we would like to have most.
  13. Black shield sounds good, I wonder if it is like love potion black. In Temple Of The Goddess is there a lot of nag Champa?
  14. I am wondering, is vanilla the top note, amber the second, and fig the third note?
  15. She really likes when I send her samples and bottles I no longer use. She uses them as perfume, in the bath. So I was thinking of maybe candles this time for her birthday. Her birthday is not until November, so I'm planning ahead.
  16. I said I was going to wait to order, but I caved in when I saw that Erin's Creamy Dragon Plum was going to sell out. I bought a bottle of that and sample vials of May Day and Une.
  17. Maybe the updates will up by Monday. I am waiting to order for the new releases, I am actually going buy some birthday presents for my sister on this next order.
  18. If that's the case, I'll probably end up buying a bottle.
  19. My inner five year old is yelling, "are we there yet?" She just won't settle down.
  20. I find myself really looking forward to the new releases and their descriptions. Part of me is like a little kid saying, "are we there yet, are we there yet?"
  21. The rose tops the sugar on me, and then after a long while the sugar is powdery and close to the skin. The only problem I had with this was the the rose smelled artificial at first, like a car air freshner or simmering oil for a few dollars. Eventually, the whole scent calmed down.
  22. When I tried this the sugar was much more noticeable than the frankincense or myrrh. I agree that it wasn't a typical frankincense and myrrh scent, the resins were subtle. It is soft, sweet, and peaceful.
  23. I am grateful that my thirties have been better than my twenties. My twenties sucked. Things in my life are much better now. Thank goodness.
