Eggers, I'm pulling my log and marshmallows over to your fire...

I'm sensing a really great story here, Halo. Since you won't give any hints about scents, I'd like to pull up a log by the campfire and toast some marshmallows while you tell some tales from schlong ago. Or will this be a short story? LOL *Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

It's fairly sweet Irish Eyes so I think you'd probably find that, depending on how much you use to layer, it could probably go well with many of the scents here. It definitely gives off a sexual vibe but I like it a lot with LP Red personally. The two together seem to kind of balance each other out well.

I'm all over it JCfV!! Just give me a couple of months and I can work that... uh... outfit?... of hers. I've got the hair.

I use VTC now and then. I was actually really surprised when I realized that they sell LPs. I kept looking at the label and thinking "I KNOW that label!" but without any of the associated LP logos - at least not from the pictures they show online. I've never bought any through there so I don't know whether the actual label shows the maker. As for the fondue... I'm not sure where you get yours but if I ever get any that smells like that, I'm taking it back because things have already been dipped in there and I'm not really sure I'm comfortable putting that in my mouth. LOL

I can't even imagine what wonders await us to make us go apeshit! Every month has something that's worthy of that. I went a little crazy once I got my hands on AJA!! LOL I hope whatever it is, she makes lots and lots of it because I foresee a hoarding epidemic soon emerging. My little buddy and I will be waiting...

Isn't it funny/strange/AWESOME how our thoughts change the more we delve into different scents and become acquainted with more notes? If I remember correctly, I had to wait awhile as well before I truly appreciated Black. I guess when you are new and first coming from retailer perfumes, I think what I've come to realize is that retailer "dark" perfumes are still rather sheer while feeling heavy. I know that probably doesn't seem to make much sense. They've tended to be, on me, heavy/loud but without having any substance, any complexity. The darker/richer LPs have a body to them. Whereas I always viewed darker scents as too much like having a ton of furs thrown on you, smothering you on the bottom, the darker LP scents have been intense (like that word best for Black) but deep. There's a story unfolding. There's substance to them that I now find lacking if I sniff something at a store. Actually I guess I find that with all LPs. Even the very sheer and light scents have a body, a story waiting to be told - sometimes soft and gentle, playful and sparkly, melancholy and reflective but always telling a tale. And to segue back to Raven Moon while noting that no animals were harmed in my representation of furs above, this is that type of perfume. I might not have given it a chance when I first came here but I definitely notice that my nose impressions have changed with time and I can appreciate it much more now because now I can pick out the nuances I couldn't have before. *I was very tempted to start ordering too but working on waiting for the NRs. My resolution this year is patience and trying to order only once a month but it's hard. So, so hard. LOL

Vladmyra, I'd say at least give it another try. You know how our chemistry goes.... everyone adores La Syph and for me, it just wasn't a love. I tried this first in very hot weather and although I liked it, it felt sticky and too rich I think for the heat. This one seems to favor cooler weather for me. Once you get past the initial roll on, that's when I think you'll get a much better idea of whether you like it!!! Be Brave!! I think Mara has a potion for that but I wouldn't suggest you mix them.

I have to say NuTrix, all the notes you mentioned were exactly why I bought mine. However, how they all blend together is not how the final product smells on me. It kind of sounds like it would be foodie but its not really. That was where I had to rearrange my thought process. It's very rich and "dark". I think someone equated it with a similar vibe as LP Black and I would say that it definitely lends more of that feel that a foodie vibe. Whereas Rocket Fuel always makes those around me hungry for waffles or pancakes, this maple is different. It reminds me a lotion and scrub I love... at first, I couldn't wrap my head around maple in it until I realized its more organic, less sweet, almost like the tree itself. That's how I feel about this one. I really love it. It's a bit incense-y at first but once the dry down starts, it's truly amazing. If I hadn't already thrown on some Patience Potion (yeah, that kind of day), I might roll this one on because it's a warm, inviting scent. I don't think you would go wrong because it seems like your combos and love have been rather simiar to mine. My nose tends to want to do its own thing though compared to many on here but Raq liked Raven Moon too so she might be a good person to give a different perspective in case my nose and chemistry are thinking outside the box again!!

I love the idea of OCCO White and BBM with this. I need to give those a try. This tends to get eaten up on my skin and that would add a nice creamy layer to cling to.

In support of Pizzazz usage, I decided to wear this today. So far, everyone has been pleasant and although putting the stereo in my car has been nothing but a pain in the ass (it's a Mitsubishi so of course everything is wonky to install), the installer has bent over backwards answering questions, offering solutions, gift cards for the trouble, you name it. I put this one around 9:30 and right now, it feels like a soft vanilla-laden rose with a splash of citrus. I'm with you Halo. It's morphed all over the place the last couple of hours. I never get any brown sugar though? Has anyone noticed having that stick out to them? Its not prominent like in other scents. I assume that's probably why I get a faint vanilla feel from this now though.

Nice review Blackcat!! I felt the same about Pizzazz when I first tried it. I worried about the rose amping because florals (rose especially) usually goes all dominatrix on other notes but I loved how it wasn't overwhelming. In my head, I've always linked Cougar phero with scented Cougar but this one definitely fits into the category perfectly for that upbeat, playful vibe I associated. It's definitely my scented Cougar alternative!!

I love your tangents, NuTrix!!! The more you go off on one, the better ideas we get. And yeah, I'd had it happen before with G&L but it had been awhile since I last wore it so I forgot about it. I've never worn anything else that did that but there appears to be something that makes my skin a little sensitive. It wasn't painful, just a blotchy red all over my neck. There wasn't anything on my arms or chest. I just saw it and draped my hair around my neck for awhile. It finally went away and I'll try to remember next time to skip the neck in my slather frenzy!!!

NuTrix, everything is good with BBM!! I think this would be a good combo for it. I have to say though, I've never had this reaction with anything else but every time I wear this one, it's makes my skin red. I had forgotten and wore around Christmas. I didn't feel anything but when I looked at myself in the mirror about an hour later, I had red blotches all over my neck. I looked like my husband choked me for not getting him a better Christmas present!! My first thought is cinnamon but I adore LP Red and haven't had that effect. It was only on my neck so whatever it is that causes it, I just know now that I need to limit to tougher areas.

Donsie, I always have to come back and proclaim love for this one every now and then. Because it's not your standard definition of perfume (is there such a thing here?), the best way I can describe this is it's more like rolling on your sexiness like a pair of thigh highs. Like pouring yourself into a body suit. It's my sexy confidence in a bottle and just makes me feel on fire. There's just a vibe to it that is different from everything else. I hope you try it and give your review. It's all so subject; some haven't liked it but when you do, look out! That's exactly how I feel. I don't regret this time at all. We've had fun and I feel blessed to have the time. I have my grumbles about the hows and whys (DD, I have stories I could tell you which is why I sympathize with your situation) but anything can happen in the new year. I haven't heard I'm not coming back so I will be going back on January 7th. Of course, it's only one day because on January 8th I have a jury summons! LOL

I'm with the ladies. Wear LFM because of how it makes YOU feel. If you feel good about yourself, you will handle the situation better. And I do agree with Dolly wholeheartedly. If it ends up being the answer you think it is, you can get the awkwardness and possible tears out of the way in your own time. You will walk in to work already knowing what you need to do and how you will want to handle it. If you wait, emotions might come up that you are not expecting or wanting.

This one I hadn't worn in awhile. It was so stinkin hot here up until mid-November that it seemed all hot and sticky on me. But, I pulled it out tonight and it's sooooo lovely. I was doing stuff and I kept getting whiffs that smelled so good. First time around it seemed incense-like and reminded me of Sex & Violins but now, I get this very smokey maple feel, lightly sweetened. I'm not sure if it's because it's aged some more (and no travel shock residue) or whether the change in weather has mellowed it out. Either way, this just smells comfy and perfect for cool days. It's so relaxing, I am wearing this to bed and probably tomorrow as well!!

So happy to hear that it worked out great with the car buy. It sucks how you got it but as long as you're ok and you got some snazzy upgrades, then congrats!! As for La Sylphide, I wish I could have loved it as much as everyone else. It just wasn't me. Hopefully it's gotten a lot more attention and love in its new home.

Wasn't that like July or something? I recall a certain scent inspired by you that included a huge picture of some chick's sandy rear end. LOL I'm thinking Halo, couldn't you maybe do something like the 12 Days of Christmas and give us a new hint every day until opening? Little carrots, if you will, to keep us nibbling on until the big day???

NOOOOOOO. I was planning on getting all my credit charges paid off in January but.. umm... I'm thinking maybe February now? Can't wait, can't wait!!!!
