  1. I fall asleep and when I wake up... Spell potions! Oh my goodness, these are lovely. Here, I had predicted I was only going to maybe get one FB from the set and now I'm looking at multiple and waving bye bye to my money. But it's well worth it since Mara's magic is so potent. The sigils look lovely ElizabethOSP. Mara was right, you went above and beyond. The sigil that's speaking to me the most is One True Love. That looks divine!
  2. Agreed. I'd always be glad to see more Ambrosia making a come back. It is such a necessity for springtime and summer!
  3. I'm wildly speculating here but since my imagination is running wild, I wonder if this means that it's a "back from the dead" but newly imbued with magical intent potions month? That would be amazeballs. Or maybe it just means a return of Whisker Wishes. Who knows.
  4. I hope not. I've logged in like 4 times already just to stalk and daydream of labels.
  5. Question: Are there any plans to add in more sugared layerables? I know there are sooooo many already. I only ask because of the previous Sugared Bamboo question. If there are plans, I'd like to throw out there that I, for one, would love a Sugared Satsuma or Sugared Mangosteen or Sugared Lychee (but I also don't want to be much of a bother if there aren't any plans. You guys have so much on your plates already and I have no idea how the whole process of finding components goes).
  6. I agree with ephoebe about BBM. It is amazing and yummy and definitely something worth having! Meanwhile, I went back and read my review of LP: Red from a year and a half ago and I do have to say I like it better now than I did before, but it's still not quite me just yet. I'm sure I just need more time to appreciate LP: Black and LP: Red in their complexity. Some of it, I feel, might be congruence. I think these two scents might be darker and more mysterious than I am, haha. While wearing LP: Red though I still get a bit too much cinnamon for my liking, but I'm honestly not a cinnamon person in the slightest and amp it like crazy as well. I definitely have to remind myself to sweeten it up a bit by layering with some other sugary or creamy scents. I'll be happy to join everyone in salivating for LP: Red when the day finally arrives that it works with me more!
  7. I'm that way too. I'm wearing LP: Black this morning and I'll definitely have to offset it with some OCCO: White or BBM or something. I like the fragrance, I just find it to be a bit too intense on me sometimes. Even after having let it age for a number of months, it still retains a dark resinous value that winds up feeling a bit overwhelming. I'm a bit extreme when it comes to the resinous scents. Spark in the Dark wears incredibly lightly to me. It might as well be air. Whereas LP: Black is deep and stays strong for a long time on my skin. I was actually thinking of buying a bottle of it for a friend who loves patchouli, amber, honeyish scents. I think it'll make a great gift and introduction to LPMP.
  8. I had ordered a sample of this ages ago when I had first discovered LPMP but hadn't really gotten around to trying it until now. On me, LP Original displays volumes of vanilla, amber, and patchouli but is rounded out by a warmth and spice that was completely unexpected. I think I previously imagined it to be sweeter and more delicate than it turned out to be. I see this scent as being ageless but has a sophistication that I associate with Chanel fragrances and such. It immediately sent my mind whirring to try and figure out what pheros to pair with it and now that I've realized how great LP: Original is, I will definitely be wearing it more! I can't believe it took me so long to get around to trying my sample!
  9. Just as the original poster had pointed out, I find that Rebecca's Moon Sugar is reminiscent of Mara's Rocket Fuel in a way. It also reminds me a bit of Hungry Heart, but probably because these ones are mapley sweet to me. For some reason, I thought I was picking up vanilla, but I guess I was mistaken. Everything about this scent is happy and sweet and the lemongrass is a great supportive note to round things out. On me personally, it comes out slightly later with wear - the sugars definitely appear first and stay, and then the lemongrass makes an appearance and fades to compliment everything else. It's really a great blend.
  10. I'm throwing out there that if another batch of Lusty Cherry were to be brewed, I'd be in! (And as always, Honeyed LP and Fuzzy Wuzzy. For all of time. Just permanently clamoring for those, haha)
  11. So excited! My imagination is running amuck!
  12. I finally busted out my tester of UN SWS for a school open house I attended. I hadn't used much, just a stripe behind each hand, but since I'm someone who gestures a lot while speaking, I figured it would be the best place to get it out there. For the two hours I attended this event, I felt outgoing and alert, and everyone kept making eye contact with me and paid more attention to me than the other prospective applicants. I left the place feeling like I was walking on air since I was so clearly the favorite amongst the group I was in. Even when we met the Dean of Students, he only shook my hand and skipped the others. While being the center of attention was fun, what stuck out most was the feeling of being understood professionally and the underlying feeling that we were all on the same page, which I credit to SWS. Now I know this will be my go-to for the interviews that will hopefully be coming up.
  13. I put this in the shipping news and updates forum because it kind of has to do with stuff actually getting to me, but if any administrators want me to move it elsewhere, by all means let me know. Anyway... I just wanted to give a big big thank you to Mara, Heather, and company for being so gracious during the hectic holiday season. I had emailed because my package had been nabbed. Someone in my neighborhood was stealing people's packages from off their doorsteps! Even the mailmen were angry about it (but acknowledged that it's a time that mail crime increases because there are so many things coming in). Anyway, I emailed you all for help and you were nothing but kind, helpful, and super fast and I just wanted to say, I appreciate it so much and always sing the praises of how awesome LPMP is.
  14. Welcome! This is a very warm, friendly, and helpful place. Hope you enjoy your new fragrance/phero addiction!
  15. I got my shipping notice the other day and it's out for delivery today. Can't wait to receive my new goodies. Thanks Mara & Co!
  16. Honeycake, it sounds to me like maybe you just haven't found your sweet spot with MRF III. I have that problem with LFM where the hits are inconsistent but apparently amazing for everyone else. It seems like your mom just found the amount that works for her.
  17. Mara's Rocket Fuel is probably my favorite of all her work that I've experienced (thus far). It's perfection in a bottle. At least as far as I'm concerned, it can be worn with everything, and the SS4W compliments a lot of other pheros as well. When I'm in a bind and don't know what to wear, it's this. To the point where I'm wary to purchase a UN SS4W because the amount that's present in Rocket Fuel III is so on point for me that I think I'd screw it up if left to my own devices, haha. So Mara is a master at picking out the exact right amount with which to dose Rocket Fuel. When telling friends about LPMP, it's even the first thing I recommend for them to try out.
  18. I don't wear this often, but I was on the way to a Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving party and swiped this on before I headed out the door. As the lone female amidst a slew of couples and a handful of other single peeps, I'd normally feel out of my comfort zone a little. But for some reason, I felt at ease, and I feel a part of that is probably due to the Popularity Potion. I stood in between the kitchen and the living room and told stories and had a blast. People kept telling me how entertaining I was, and I think I even met a cute dude (we'll see!). So Popularity Potion, as always, made me feel like I was the sparkling addition to this party atmosphere. I wish I had made a note of how much I'd put on, because it was just the right amount to garner a bunch of compliments, which I am always a fan of!
  19. These all look fantastic, but my imagination is running wild for Mega Watt!
  20. Since I'm still sad about the demise of my Honeyed LP, I'll also throw in there that I'd love if that were miraculously re-released as well!
  21. I'm dittoing all the folks clamoring for Fuzzy Wuzzy. That is at the top of my perpetual rebrew list.
  22. This is the one I'm most excited about, so I can't wait to order a sample of it once I place my order for Heart and Soul. Now that the weather's getting warmer, I think the notes in this will really stand out in a sheer, lighthearted manner.
  23. After much trial and error, I finally found my sweet spot in terms of OCCO: Ambrosia. I'm permanently in love with the scent, so I use it pretty sparingly in terms of the various scents that I cycle through. But the last few times I've worn it, when repeating the exact same amounts, I've had people offering to hold bags for me, opening car doors, helping me out of things, chatting me up excessively, etc. It's been so nice! I know not to go overboard with OCCO's because I remember Dolly's safety post about it, but it's been a fun confidence boost the few times I've worn it in safe settings with those I'm close to.
