Isn't it usually November?

I figured I'd throw this out there in case there are scents or pheros I might be advised to try that I'd then attempt to get samples of. Anyway, a guy that I'm into and I made plans to go to this super sexy concert together. We've known each other for a while (same one that I mentioned in my introductory post). Dinner + seats at this concert + we'll probably head out for more drinks and dancing after. I have no idea if this is a date or not, lol, but I figured maybe I'd be bold and approach it like it is and try to throw out more of a saucy "hey, let's get together" vibe. I won't be disappointed either way since I do love our friendship. I'm not focused on attempting to target one person or anything with pheros. I know they won't make something happen that isn't there. I've had great self-effects with SS4W. He responds decently well to Gotcha in that he winds up being more protective. I have some bottles of great scents and great pheros, and samples of a bunch of things so I'd appreciate some suggestions. I was just confused because this outing contains aspects that are both social and a bit more intimate so I don't know what would be appropriate. I was kind of thinking Midnight Masquerade + LFM but wasn't really sure. Thank you for any help/ideas/suggestions!

I just tried my sample of this today. Omg, yum! It's a sweet floral that I absolutely adore. I was expecting something stronger and different based on the notes, and like everyone else who reviewed, previous Bath and Body Works experiences with cherry blossoms. I thought the teak would be heavier and make the scent spicier in terms of exotic. Instead, when I swiped this on my arm, I was greeted with the loveliest sweet cherry blossoms while wet. And after a long drydown, some teak came peeking out. For me the vanilla and the musk simply made a great base for the cherry blossom to spring off of, rather than display themselves on their own. I'm adding this to my fb list for the future, for sure.

Since I fell for the Courage and Bravery potion, I decided to try out my sample of this courage blend. It is like Courage and Bravery's bolder sibling. Cry Havoc is soothing and clean, but definitely has a woodsy strength to it. It sort if reminds me of fresh laundry, and for me, anyway, the teak or oakmoss or a note like that takes the forefront. It's also really unisex. I would really like to smell this on a guy. Now that I enjoy this one so much too, I'm debating which one I want a full bottle of!

A pleasant and unexpected result - so I was wearing my G2 to meet up with a bunch of female friends. One had brought her giant 90 lb dog with her. All of us love and dote over this canine, but unfortunately, she (the dog) is prone to a lot of anxiety and gets agitated easily and doesn't have the easiest time with people or animals, even on basic walks. There's a lot of lunging and enormously loud barking. Anyway, for the first time ever, this dog was suuuuuper calm and cheery and kept nuzzling me. Everyone was so surprised! I was too! And then I noticed she kept licking my wrist where I'd sprayed the G2 and it clicked, haha. I could not be more grateful for the G2's effects as it really helped everyone out in keeping my friend's dog in a happy space.

This is exactly the sort of experience I just had with Man Nip, but then again, I was really excited and did some swipes of it the second I received my latest package, so I'm hoping it's just travel shock. Or I could be developing a pattern of really amping spices quite heavily. We'll see!

I am still in love with my Honeyed LP. I find that it's already changing with age. My bottle has become slightly sweeter. And I cant tell which aspect of its ingredients are causing this but there's a more prominent vanilla or patchouli than there was before that rounds out the scent even better than before.

I got my shipping notice too! plus, i made a pe for my mom as part of her birthday gift and i could not be more excited to receive everything. mara, if you see this, you're the best!

Is BBM one of those scents that you all would say is a must have and I should simply order a full bottle of unsniffed? I haven't really tried any of the OCCO's, and I keep meaning to, but It seems like everyone is in love with this one and it sounds like it's practically an OCCO anyway. I was just curious so I could make a list for future orders.

This is my go-to scent. I keep forgetting pheros are in it so I don't really pay attention to hits while wearing it. I just love the maple sweetness of it. It smells so yummy that I just huff my arm all the time. And I feel like this will be so much fun to wear as a transition to fall because it's light and warm at the same time. And I always feel excellent wearing it, which must be the phero self effects. I remember I wore it out to meet some friends and shoot darts and stuff like that, and outside, I was hanging out with a friend by our cars and we were super close physically and he would sort of move in, and stay close and then abruptly take one step back. And then repeat, move in, stay close for a bit, and one step back. I take it as a hit, haha. I think I hang out with a lot of guys who aren't very open physically so this back and forth is how they react when I do wear pheros. I'm cool with it, because to me, the self effects are most important and I just feel so sparkly while wearing MRF III that I can't imagine anything beating that instant sense of shine.

Wow, this is so nice of Mara. I hope she gets some rest considering the multiple rebrews occurring during sale time. I'm excited! Some recent events make me want to place an order for Hex Breaker, but knowing that there's some room to breathe because more bottles are being brewed definitely creates some ease.

Ooh, that's good to know. Had I known, I would've done that with these spell potions (but you're right, I doubt she'd want this as a habit or to have a bunch of people doing it too). But I'm still happy with my samples and my Whisker Wishes coming my way!

This is one that I'm wearing today and I really like it! It's soft but with a lot of depth. And as previous people have mentioned, it has a masculine quality to it while retaining a sense of femininity. Anyone can wear it, really. I'm definitely smelling the tobacco and teak in this, but they blend so well together that nothing is overly sharp. I was expecting those scents to exude a sense of warmth, maybe because of memories of teak wood in Indian furniture stores and such, but 221B just seems really clean.

I never feel guilty. I'm new to all this but the way I see it is that some girls are really great at applying makeup or styling their hair. False lashes, sexy curls, etc. I'm not good at that (but I still try), but this is my cosmetic thing. A fragrance. Plus, pheros don't make things happen that wouldn't otherwise. I just roll on some fragrance because I think it matches my mood and forget the rest (which is why I'm not good about noticing hits or attributing them to various things). I guide my life and any phero use simply compliments what I'm putting out there already.

You know, I'm sure you must be right. I hadn't taken travel shock into account at all, and being so new, I've been letting things sit, but only for a day or two. I hadn't even considered that a week might be a more comfortable time period for a scent. Thanks, Beccah!

I'm not quite sure if this is my type of scent. There's definitely something spicy about it initially. I would say with a twinge of greenness. Perhaps that's the wheat and oats combining with the ginger. And after that it softens to a sweet honey, which I enjoy, but the opening sharpness and intensity make me want to back down from this one. We'll see how it does on a re-test though.

I am surprised. When Mara announced the new releases, I thought Smitten Kitten, Come to Me, and the Gimme Money potions were for sure going to sell out first.

I wore this the other day to help my parents deal with some crabby landlords. Though I'm a self-assured person, I sometimes (actually more often than I'd like to admit) find myself being too nice and too helpful, no matter what the scenario. And then there's that feeling of l'esprit de l'escalier. Well, when I wore this phero in La Vie de Boheme, I felt like I was able to be more direct and more effective. I was able to say exactly what I needed to say and exactly how I wanted to. Everything got handled favorably in our favor, and everyone else told me I should consider being a lawyer, haha.

I wanted a touch of autumn today, so I tried a sample of Sugared Pumpkins, and it was exactly what I needed! The sugar is not overwhelming, nor is it cloyingly sweet, but just the right amount to accent the definitive pumpkin scent. The scent is warm and buttery soothing, and is never ever sharp. I can't wait to wear this in the actual fall. It makes me feel cozy.

It's already back on the site. I grabbed my bottle this round. No more missing out!

I think everyone will simply be happy with your graciousness in brewing more. I can only speak for myself, but I feel like the strength of empowerment and intent far outweigh a slightly different peach. Thank you, Mara!
