I've put myself on a budget, and I'm determined to stick to it this time - either one bottle OR the monthly sampler per month, and no more. I thought I wanted the monthly sampler for June, but VERY tempted by the Patience Potion on artfire, just because I would really like to try out Balm Bomb. I'm afraid that I won't like the scent though, it doesn't sound bad but also doesn't sound like a sure bet that I'll love it either. Decisions!

You're killing me, as always. I had promised myself that I would have restraint this month!

I'd like to hear it too. I was REALLY tempted to snag the last bottle of this one, but the checkbook just wouldn't allow it...

Do you know which pheros seem to work the best for you so far? That might help you make your choice. For example, anything with Est works very well on me, and most things with a-nol do not. That could narrow it down for you at least.

I'm already trying to decide my June order...I have a few on my wishlist that are pretty close to selling out:(

You guys have me so intrigued about this one. Turns out I DID order a trial vial (as one of my forum freebies - I changed my mind so many times that I guess I didn't remember what I had finally settled on, for some reason I thought I was getting Horse). I haven't had the chance to even test it, but I think I'll be wearing it today. I definitely could use the MLH for some difficult people I've been dealing with at work...

Ssagey, I agree that the scents you've listed aren't really like Caramel Musk. Have you thought about just buying a bottle of Caramel Musk and having it boosted with the phero you choose? I think Mara will even split a phero boost, so you could actually get a bottle for yourself and one for your cousin and just split the boost between the two. I find that pheros are just as effective (sometimes for me even MORE effective) in small doses. Also, if you just want to try out Goodie Tooshu, I have a partial bottle that is getting no love. Somebody sent it to me as a freebie, but the scent is just not for me. I can't in good conscience sell something that was so kindly given to me, so if you want to register to trade with Heather and put in an exchange request, I will gladly send it to you. ETA: If you do want it though, please send me an email. I've put myself on a budget and so I'm not on the forum as much as I would like to be - just avoiding temptation and all. So I might not see a response here, but I'll definitely see an email!

So I gave this one a full day's wear, and I think I love it just as much as 2011. 2014 does seem to have a bit more of a "perfume-y" smell to me. It's not strong enough for me to dislike it, I think it just adds to the yumminess. This is the first LP that I've tried two different re-brews of one perfume, so it was definitely a bit of an experiment for me. I love it though, it's similar enough that I like it just as much, but just a tiny bit different so that I don't feel like I'm buying the same thing. I actually just got a bottle of 2009 from the trading post which I haven't tried out yet, so I'm curious to compare that one too! It also does have pretty good lasting power on me, but then so does 2011, Oh yeah, and this is definitely my favorite Egg label so far, but then I'm a sucker for animals.

So I wore this for a full day yesterday for the first time, and it just keeps getting better. My little review above was just from initial testing. And it's true that when it's wet, this is loud spicy carnation on me (which I like). But after about 2-3 hours this one dries down to a much sweeter scent. The carnation is still definitely there, but it's more in the background and the foody notes take over. If I remember correctly, I think there was some cotton candy in this? I think that's what I'm smelling the most, just with carnations:) Yep, kind of like that! It also lasts forever, which I think was true of the other PE I ordered for this month too. So far I think I'm two for two on this order!

I find that I'm the same way, but the more LPs I buy, the better my nose gets at picking out certain notes! I'm still pretty bad at it though. But I find that when reading reviews, everything is helpful, especially since these perfumes can smell so different on different people. I say review away - even an "I love this" or "this is not for me" is helpful, especially if you can figure out which people on the forum have similar tastes as you do. I find that the more reviews the better!

La Sylphide is beautiful - maybe one of my all-time favorites! I find that I don't reach for it as often now that the weather's gotten warmer, but if you have the chance, you should definitely invest in a bottle!

I test-drove this one for a full day yesterday. Okay, I simply love this. "Fluffy" is just the right word for it! To me it is ultra sweet and foody without being too heavy or cake-y. I think I'm mostly getting the cotton candy and marshmallow, which would account for the fluffiness. When I first put it on I didn't think I was going to like it, but on dry-down it was so beautiful. It really had staying power, too, as I could smell it all day. Another unsniffed fb purchase win.

I agree! It was so strange, when I first put it on it barely smelled like anything at all - I was so disappointed! But in a matter of minutes it was practically screaming carnations. It does remind me alot of Sanctuary, but much sweeter. I think carnation is going to be a good scent for me:)

So my order came today and this was the first one I tried out. There's always the possibility of travel shock, but at first sniffing I find this one to be VERY similar to Egg 2011. That's the only other Egg I've tried so far, and I love love love it, so I'm super happy with this re-brew!

I just had to drop by this thread and brag about the compliment I got on this today - walked into the doctor's office and the receptionist (who was behind one of those glass window/partition thingies) immediately started ranting about how good I smelled! She said it was the best perfume she'd ever smelled. I always worry about my perfumes not diffusing on me properly, but apparently this one does the job!

Glad to hear things seem to be getting at least a little better! I haven't tried SWS, but I feel this way about some lps too!

Guess who just got their shipping notice!?! I am ridiculously excited about this one - I can't wait to get my hands on a fb of Love Immortal. Plus, it's just been a pretty crappy month or so for me, so I NEED something happy in my life. If that's gonna be perfume in my mailbox, then so be it!!!

Cougarrific, when I first started using pheros I was using CB alot, and I found that it could make me weepy at first too. However, it did seem to slack off after a while - I feel like maybe I just got used to it? Anyway, hopefully the crazy emotional roller-coaster will subside for you a little bit.
