So I wore this for the first time yesterday, aside from just a quick little test when it first came in the mail. When I first put it on, I honestly thought I was going to dislike it. Wet, it DID seem a bit too masculine to me. But then once it dried down, it got much softer and more feminine. It's definitely different from my normal scent preferences, but once it's dry I really love it! The more I experiment with scents, I'm finding that I usually love Mara's blends with sandalwood, and I think that's what really does it for me in this one too. Plus, lately I feel like I've been having problems with scent diffusion, but this one smells strong to me, like it's really getting out there. It sticks around all day too - I actually keep getting little whiffs of it now, on the morning after, so it's got some staying power! I'm kind of thinking of claiming that last bottle, but there are so many still on my wishlist that it's doubtful I'll have a chance at it before it's gone.

I just wasn't thinking...kept seeing people talk about Egg and was just panicked that I might miss out on it. I love Egg 2011 so much, I find it hard to believe that I could like the new version just as much, but we'll see!

This is the one I'm most curious about! Can't wait to try it:)

I think Chick sounds like it will be my favorite. I had sworn that I was skipping NR's this month, to catch up some on my wishlist (and give my checking account a break!) but there are a few of these that I'll definitely have to try. Plus the PE's were so amazing that I reserved two, and am really tempted to reserve a third - looks like I'll have to catch up on that wishlist some other time!

Well I got my bottle last night, and even though I KNOW I should let them sit a day, I still tried on everything that came:) I was SO afraid of this being too dark, especially since I think I've pinpointed black musk as being a not-so-great note for me. But I think I'm going to love it! I'm getting alot of leather and coffee, which is what I'd hoped. So, even though travel shock (and the fact that I was kinda stuffy when I tried it on) may be a factor, I think this one is going to be a keeper:)

Blackcat, you are so right. This scent is one that is so not "me" but I absolutely love it. It's quickly climbing the list to become one of my favorites. Idk about your childhood, but all the lilies remind me of church at Easter time.

And I just checked my tracking number, and it's been delivered, and I'm stuck at work until probably 10:00 tonight!!! Grrr!

You're welcome! For some reason, I've never gotten any effects, good or bad, from either Open Windows or Levitation. Maybe I've never worn enough, but I love the scent of Flying Potion so I sometimes go heavy on it and it has Levitation. But I'm pretty sure Levitation has DHEAS (it's just OW with DHEAS added, right?) so maybe that's what's bothering you? Let us know what you decide! Completely OT from your original question, but now that I've thought of it, if you haven't tried Flying Potion you should - Mara's just rebrewed it so you could sample it and try out the Levitation. Aside from the phero though, it's a great scent, it's worth it just for the perfume alone!

Had to add this since you just asked - tonight I took my sample spray of Strange Attractors w/Topper to work with me. At one point I put some on and went a little too heavy - it was headache city and instant bitchiness. I've never OD'ed with Strange Attractors before, but that is definitely what it was, and I knew it almost immediately. I made it a point to just keep my mouth shut, because I KNEW what was going on and why I was in a foul mood! Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I personally lean toward just DHEAS. But again, that's just me because a-nol is not my friend - I wouldn't necessarily advise anyone else for that reason. That's why I think it's good to sample alot, and know what works well for you, before investing in alot of UN pheros. Just my opinion:)

You will become addicted quickly! If you've been using pheromones before, do you already know what single molecules seem to work for you? I know that's been a HUGE factor for me when determining what pheros to buy, as everyone's skin chemistry is different so we don't always react the same to things. I've been using pheros for less than a year, but I have a pretty good idea of what to look for in a blend, as there are certain pheros that work well for me, and also some that don't. If you don't already know what works well for you, I would suggest sampling alot of different things. I don't think there's currently a scent with Popularity Potion (but I'm not positive, you can search it on the site) but we don't know what's in the new releases for April and May yet, so there may be one coming up soon. When I first started I tried a little of everything, since Mara offers samples and you can also find them on the trading post. Good luck and have fun!

Heavy a-nol blends don't usually seem to work for me, and that's at best. I sometimes get headaches, dizziness, and I OD and crash, which I've noticed especially with cougar. And I tend to go pretty light on pheros as a general rule, so it doesn't take much.

I've been trying to decide between the two for a while now myself. My biggest problem is that I find I personally don't respond well to a-nol. I've tried Topper in the scent Strange Attractors with good effects, but it's not as strong as UN Topper would be. I'm afraid that the stronger Topper would be too much a-nol for me. I don't think that I've tried just DHEAS yet. I'm even thinking of doing a mad scientist blend which would be basically Topper with less a-nol (maybe 25% a-nol to 75% DHEAS, rather than 50/50). Sorry, this is probably not very helpful to you, just my thoughts on the subject. But it seems that most people do well with a-nol, I think I'm in the (very small) minority.

Reserved a Pinky Sweet (hopefully) and Egg will be a fb for sure. Trying really hard to skip the NR's this month but once descriptions come out I'll probably be doomed. Also really wanting the body cream on the artfire site.
