  1. I love the sweet honeyed subtle earthiness of this one. It's like contented humming of bees translated into a scent. I've found that people really respond wonderfully to me when wearing this- so affectionate, indulgent, friendly, complete strangers seemingly enjoying talking to me at some great length. I know TH is not meant to be a flirty blend, but for some reason I've always found that men really pay a lot of attention to me when I wear it, in that extremely interested sort of way. I recently wore this with a little Pherogirl (a scent that I can't wear alone, as it turns too sexual). Perfect combination- the PG adding sensual depth, while the Terra Mater reigned the PG in and made it cleaner, lighter and brighter.
  2. Sweet, soft, candied violet petals, just like the kind you might decorate a delicious cake with. Gorgeous, light and airy. A very uplifting violet scent. I've discovered that violet scents make me feel very calm and content, and only wish I could bathe in this one every day!

    Skool's Out!

What an interesting scent this is! When I first put it on it seemed to throw out two separate scent tendrils- one fruity, sweet and summery, and the other a vaguely amber-like, slightly honey-ish smoky blurred scent that is intriguingly hard to define. The two sides of this scent seemed like distinct personalities, each with a mind of their own. They don't clash at all, they just both dance around each other like two people moving closely together yet dancing alone to the music in their heads. As it mellows, the fruity-ness fades and the deeper smoky amber scent softens to a pleasant haunting whisper of slightly debauched pleasure lying close against the skin.
  4. This one starts out for me as a soft edged pink-toned, slightly floral pineapple. Over time the pineapple softens to barely a whisper and it becomes a luscious soft, sweet skin scent that feels like a lightly floral toned musk. In its first stage it's a bright, uplifting scent, as it softens it becomes much more sensual, comforting and close wearing.
  5. Wore this for the first time in ages the other night when feeling very irritated and pms-y. It doesn't make me sleepy, but it definitely soothed my nerves and made me feel more balanced and relaxed. I love the surprising sensuality of the scent, which is simultaneously extremely comforting and stealthily sexy. I get a lot of male admiration when wearing this scent.

    Totem: Bunny

Wearing this scent is like being wrapped in an invisible soft, fuzzy baby blanket of blue and yellow wool, made from some ridiculously indulgent material (probably Angora wool, he he...). It's so comforting, like the scent tendrils have formed wispy fingers that soothingly stroke through my hair, making the world feel lighter and happier around me. I haven't been feeling too happy for a while now, so this little bit of scent magic is exactly what I needed. If only I could get myself a floppy-eared bunny to cuddle while I'm wearing it my life would be complete.
  7. I love this scent. So clean and light and strangely alluring. It's a translucent green blue colour, and has a soft yet powerful presence that seems to shimmer and glisten in airy floral waves, like the scent equivalent of a calm breeze lightly rippling clear, pure water that glimmers and sparkles playfully as it's hit by gentle rays of sunlight.
  8. This one reminds me of Atomic Mandarin to an extent, except it lacks the denseness and whatever that note was in AM that my nose interpreted as aniseed. So it's a much lighter, airier sort of cousin to AT for me. Much more wearable for me. At first the orange was a little medicinal, but it smoothed out beautifully and lingered for a good few hours on my wrist.

    Vampire Bait

I'm so glad I let this one age before judging it. When I first tried it there was a strange sharp fuzziness to it, like tiny needles swathed in cotton wool stabbing at my nose and tongue. It also came across as an odd icy green/grey colour. The combined effect of these sensations made it quite disturbing to me. Now it's morphed into an entirely different scent. It has become a smooth, light floral with a whisper of soft honeyed warmth that draws all the notes together to sweetly ground and combine them. There isn't an actual presence of honey though, just that honeyed sweetness you get from some flowers that makes their scent slightly mouth-watering. It's elegant, understated and ethereal, yet it lasts for hours, and projects beautifully. I have to avoid putting my nose right near my wrist to sniff deeply though, because at that immediate proximity to the application site the scent is too powerful and becomes a little nauseating, but allowing it to waft naturally from my skin it is beautiful. I only need to wear a very small amount of this one- it has a quiet strength to it.
  10. I've found Teddy BB to be quite a bonding blend, in that it makes people feel very at ease around me and puts them in a nice mellow mood that makes them want to interact with me more, so I'm not sure that's really what you're wanting here. But I'd love to know how any experiments with Dom, Leather or B2.2 might go.
  11. The red orb locket is beautiful, and not at all heavy to wear. I love the pom poms, perfect idea. Once you've put some perfume oil or spray on your pom pom it's best to leave it to soak in a little for a minute or two before putting it in the locket, as it helps avoid the perfume coming into too much contact with the metal, and can reduce the metallic scent someone mentioned. Diffusion is good for me, though the weather here is quite warm, so that helps. The scent really lasts well this way. I love my scent locket!
  12. 1. Harmonious Self 2. La Sylphide 3. LP Pink 4. LV's Rose Cookies 5. Fairy Musk (although someone strangely said it smelled like incense the other day. WTF?)
  13. Yay! My package came today, and everything is so gloriously beautiful! Thank you so much for all the magic and beauty, and for the lovely generous gifts!
  14. I've lightly fragranced my unscented DHEAS spray with LP Pink, and it's the most gloriously congruent pairing! I feel so pretty and girly and uplifted, and the magic of LP Pink seems to have increased the phero power of my beloved DHEAS.
  15. The beautiful subtlety of this scent makes it so brilliant for times when you want to be able to wear perfume without smelling "perfumed". I love that I can wear some TH and be enveloped in such a soft, organic fragrance that feels fresh and beautiful like a walk through a garden on an autumn afternoon.
  16. Welcome Toxiclove! As a fellow shy introvert, I'll attempt to answer your first question based on my own experiences. I cannot recommend Lumina strongly enough as a blend that makes people feel more naturally drawn to the process of interacting with you. It's interesting that there seems to be a bit of a pattern of Lumina working really well for people who are more introverted, and that it works well for people who don't necessarily find Cougar does that much for them. It's really helped me to feel more socially embraced. I also recommend Perfect Match, based on recent experiments, for making peoplefeel really comfortable in your presence, and inclined to be affectionate and complimentary towards you. Flying Potion and Lace are other blends that people respond really well to on me, in terms of being really open towards me, and me perhaps being a bit more open myself. Don't feel discouraged if you don't feel much of a self-effect from the blends, as not everyone does. I have a theory that the phero blends will often not effect the outward behaviour of strongly introverted people to the same extent as more extraverted types. I don't get noticeable self-effects from blends most of the time- my focus is instead on how I can slightly alter other people's reactions to me in order to improve my social interactions without having to feel like I must change dramatically first. However, try to behave fairly congruently with the intent of the blend you're wearing, as this always give best results. Good luck!
  17. These are just gorgeous Mara! Could I please reserve a red glass accented orb locket please? Thanks!
  18. Glad you reviewed this CerisLou, you've reminded me how much I love it. Something about this one reminds me of La Sylphide- one of the most beautiful elegant scents I've ever sniffed. It's like a warmer heavier version of it to me, probably because of the sandalwood. After a while it becomes this soft pillowy creamy sophisticated scent that is somehow perfumey but not at the same time. I always want to dress nicely and look elegant when wearing this one.
  19. Oh my god- what are you people smelling? LOL! I'd love to trade sniffers for an hour and experience this one as a pineapple scent, because I can't even begin to imagine how that happens. Your descriptions intrigued me so much I had to wear it today. It has a smooth, creamy pale purple-grey smell to me, with a strangely soft depth to it that lends it a texture akin to if you were floating through a thick velvet-lined cloud. This scent has such a quiet yet powerfully magnetic presence when I wear it, and it seems to whisper mysteriously, like a creature from another more ethereal realm.
  20. Ditto to the stuff the shallow dick anyway comments. As for pheros, I can definitely recommend SS4W- it always makes people (men and women) notice and appreciate me.

    Kitten Heels

I have this one in spray form. I call it my "stealth sexy" perfume, because on me it seems so clean and soft and elegant, but it projects this subtle sensuality that makes me feel all swishy and gorgeous. So, yeah, Donsie is right, it's like bathing yourself in a filthy garbage pit of despair. Nasty stuff, not recommended, snigger.
  22. I've just been experimenting with adding Aja to other scents to see if it'll be wearable for me. I've made a spray perfume of Whisker Wishes (2013), with a bit of Sugared Amber and a nice amount of Aja added to the mix. It worked out beautifully! I've got 6 sprays on my clothes right now, and the Aja has none of the smutty sex scent it takes on by itself on my skin. It's added a nice light honeyed touch to the sweet juicy spiced ripeness of WW, and the whole thing is wonderfully grounded by the Sugared Amber. So if this doesn't work for you by itself I'd recommend experimenting.
  23. This one is very raspberry-ish on me for the first hour, but there's a strong, sharp soapiness there as well. Note sure which note that comes from. The soapiness stopped me from enjoying the scent at first, until it disappeared by about an hour in. From that point on the scent is soft and creamy, with a vanilla almond presence and some very toned down raspberry and pear. Once the soapy stage is over I really enjoy this scent.
  24. Poor Rose! I hate those kinds of intense conflicts with loved ones, where you end up really resenting the hell out of each other and seething with repressed rage. Hopefully everything smooths over for you soon (sounds like a job for the newly released "Quarrel Mender" perhaps?). I really do feel that this potion is best used only when the atmosphere is already a positive one, and everyone involved is feeling quite content and at peace with each other. Because I think it tends to work on a strictly emotionally energetic frequency, not on a mental one- that is, I believe the connection it creates between people allows each to feel what the other is feeling as though that feeling also belongs to their self. It sounds like this is what happened with you and your husband, because you both felt so strongly about your own position, it just intensified that and fed it in a cyclic manner. It doesn't seem to be a potion that actively encourages people to take on another person's mental perspective, unless you're starting from a point of happy connection already. In situations where people are feeling positively attuned to each other already, I've had great experiences with it. In these instances it sort of supercharges that connectivity, and everyone's focus and consciousness sort of beautifully melds and balances, and it can be a truly wonderful thing when that happens. Maybe the high B-nol content makes people want to really express whatever they're feeling, like in T.M.I. or True Confessions?
