  1. Weird, I thought I had reviewed this - but I guess not. I bought a full bottle unsniffed based on the notes... And also because of the adorable guy on the label. (Edit: also, I was hoping for something vaguely like Aloha Pumehana, which I have only a horded trial vial of but that I absolutely adore!) I've only used some of my trial vial so far though, because it turns a bit weird on my skin; sadly, I don't get any cocoa butter or any fruits or florals. It is very difficult to describe: the scent on my skin is quite strong, not unpleasant, but not like perfume at all. There is something 'hard' about it, almost like a metal - not at ALL what I expected! Still, the Lumina seems to work really well for me (a great female social) so I've been experimenting with sweetening it up a little bit. My next order will probably contain some sweet/vanilla sample vials, but for now I've discovered that a swipe of Aja on the spot where I put the Pherodise works really well. It makes it nice and sweet, and the Pherodise adds a bit of depth and grounding to the Aja. Lovely combination!
  2. Weird, innit? But somehow the effects are so odd (and the scent so lovely) that I can't seem to leave it alone; I've probably worn it more than any other single scent in the last few weeks.
  3. I haven't had any noticeable phero hits off this one either (I don't really get them with Bang! either; BI though tends to be a great social for me, makes me feel perky and chatty and draws people - mostly women though, alas - to me like flies. Very very talktative flies....). But I don't really mind because I love the scent so much! It's soft and sweet and sultry and seductive, but still playful at the same time - one of my all time favorites.
  4. Hmmmm, this is delicious! A bit more dry than LP Black, less sweet, but definitely in the same family - and, like LP Black, a little goes a long way. But what a lovely way it is! Resiny and woody and very feminine; not girly in the slightest, it's a very grown-up scent. And it is very congruent with the Dom & Cops mix! I can't really say yet which effect is has on others, but as far as selfies goes it's great; makes me feel all strong and in-charge and take-no-prisoners. Great great stuff!
  5. Oh no, it was completely along the lines with how it made me feel; I felt sort of cheerfully, casually bitchy; I do have Bitchy Resting Face sometimes but these were not those times; in fact, I think I was smiling. Just, you know, smiling and coming out with bitchy things!
  6. I've had this tab open for weeks now, because I really wanted to review it, but I am completely baffled by the effect on the phero on me.... I love the scent SO much; it's soft and sweet and musky, sexy but still light and playful. It really feels like a 'me' scent! But - the phero seems to make me bitchy? Not a heavy-handed snarly sort of bitchy, but an almost light, offhand kind of bitchy. And, oddly enough, people seem to take it in that way too. It has me completely puzzled; it seems so opposite to the intent! And it makes it difficult for me to wear the perfume. I mean, in certain very specific situations it could come in handy, but being casually bitchy does not seem like a very good state of mind to go out the door with regularly. I'm going to have to experiment with it more (have already tried it different times of the month; different season perhaps?), I just can't get a handle on it. Maybe feeling relaxed makes my inner bitch feel safe enough to come out?
  7. It's very sweet and pink and girly - and in the drydown it seems to get even sweeter on me! Not sure if this will work on me, maybe if I layer it with a dry kind of scent... It's nice, but just very overwhelmingly sweet!
  8. Me too! I can barely detect something fresh and airy; a little wisp of a scent. It's lovely, very refreshing, but incredibly sheer!
  9. Whoa, look away for a few days and not only are there new scents - they are orderable, too!! Now all I have to do is work out the little detail of money... I'm off to read the descriptions now, but going by the labels & names, I am most tempted by Ashes to Dust, Snowman Poop and Raindeer Dropping - not sure what that says about me!
  10. To my nose, Beaver is slightly softer and warmer; this one seems a bit fresher and soapier.
  11. Unfortunately, this did not really work on me; apple can go wonky on my skin (as can apricot) and that is what happened this time. I wish I got what everyone else here is getting - but I can't love them all, I guess.
  12. I quite like this one; the scent seems to match the phero very well. It's clean, calm, fresh and self-assured. Sort of almost-soapy, but not in a bad way (I'm not usually a huge fan of soapy). There is something very no-nonsense and functional about the scent which I really like. It works fine on my skin and I can absolutely see this working on a man as well.
  13. Could this be the first scent with Bang! that really works on me? It is odd, certainly; sort of in between foodie and floral, sweet and dry at the same time. But I find I keep sniffing the back of my hand again and again. The phero has fantastic self-effects for sure; I've been bubbly (well, bubbly for me) and outgoing all day, offering people who look lost to help them find their way, etc. People have responded wonderfully as well, both men and women; very friendly and warm. I'm just not sure how I would feel about wearing larger amounts of this; I tried out a single swipe from the trial wand on the back of my hand about five hours ago, and that is still going strong.
  14. Mmmm, this is lovely and sweet and soothing and yummie! Very relaxing and comforting, but very pretty as well; for some reason this comes across as extremely feminine to me, perhaps even girlish. There is something innocent and light about it - although the scent itself has good throw and lasts quite a while.

    EBIL-ish 2014

I keep going back and forth on this one... At first sniff, I went running to my computer to order a bottle (or two). But after a while, the initial sweetness takes a back seat and something else comes to the front; something dark and somehow serious smelling. It's not unpleasant, but I miss the vanilla that it starts out with; the scent morphs into something really solemn on my skin. Maybe I will try layering it with something sweeter (probably a good dose of Occo White to start out with!). I might get another sample to play with some more while I try and make up my mind. Edit: Tyvey, I see that you read this as masculine! I think that is what is happening on my skin as well. Hmm, interesting. Now I wish I had a fella to try this out on....
  16. My November samples got here yesterday!!! Perfect timing, since I had just managed to get rid of the second cold in a row. I'm SO looking forward to trying them all out in the next couple of weeks!
  17. I love the 2013 Flying Potion, and I think I love this version even more! The 2013 was a bit warmer and autum-like smelling to my nose, the 2014 seems fresher and more summery. Lovely and citrussy and bright, but not piercing at all; just very fresh and refreshing and delicious. I have to be a bit careful with the phero - when I am in the right mood it works great, but I have to remember not to try and use it to force myself into that mood... Congruence!
  18. Androstenol, what an excellent idea! November darkness has been kicking my butt hard (it's not just the few hours of daylight; the weather has been miserable, with fog and rain, so even when the sun is up it doesn't get properly light) and this might indeed be a great remedy. Thank you! Fortunately, I managed to get a whole bottle of it in the sale, so I can slather all I want. Read something upthread about adding cops; that might be a really good idea, too...
  19. B-nol heavy blends seem to work really well for me. Perfect Match and Treasured Hearts are fantastic - for some reason I find it easy to be congruent with those (which was not what I had expected when I started this phero-journey!) And, oddly enough, BI not only gives terrific selfies, but it also works excellently as a social; I do put it on sometimes when I'm spending time with women.
  20. Ooooooh, I want them ALL!!!!! Do I understand correctly that the UN-samples will be available through the month of December as well? That would be excellent news for my bank account....

    Wicked

Fortunately, the cinnamon does not amp on me at all in Wicked; I actually even didn't know there is supposed to be cinnamon in there! For me, this is the perfect dark, dry, woodsy fall scent. It really smells like it's name somehow and it makes me feel very strong and badass. There is something almost minty in it after it's been on my skin a while, but I think that is probably the pine needles that my nose translates into 'mint'. Something very fresh and invigorating. Underneath that is black earth, full of half-decayed leaves, smelling sweet and organic and slightly dangerous. I discovered the scent in a sniffie that was generously included a few months ago; I was delighted to find out that it was still around and bought a bottle immediately. In the sales I picked up a second bottle - it really is a gorgeous, gorgeous scent.
  22. Oh, this is lovely! It smells floral and herbal (and I smell the dirt, too!) but in a very subdued, calm way; very grounded / grounding. I can smell the geranium coming through, a fresh green accent, but it doesn't overwhelm as geranium can sometimes do on me; instead, it blends into the whole in one lovely swirl of flowers. It does not really smell of fresh flowers per se, but I would not say it smells of dried flowers either, that gives the wrong idea. Perhaps it smells of beautiful paper flowers? There is something a bit distanced here. It reminds me of the stage of a play, with very credible creations of flowers, of a garden. A garden in moonlight that is; it is very much a nocturnal smell for me. There is something so calm and serene about it... You know how you can be outside at night and you do hear noises of the city/other people but they are all very far away - the air around you is very quiet, very still, very peaceful. I think I might use this scent when I am feeling stressed and hyper and over-burdened; like an oasis of moonlit serenity, just for me....
