No banana here either! I do get something hot and buttered, something sweet bakery; it reminds me of a Dutch kind of biscuits actually. It's lovely to smell, but it does make me hungry....

Welcome! Such an exciting time of year to join. I second (third?) the suggestion for Sneaky Clean; I don't even normally like clean scents, but that one is great - and a fantastic phero, too. And Perfect Match is one of my very favorite pheros, I get the most and the most fun hits with it! It's very easy to sexy-up with a bit of cops, too.

CINNAMONNNNNNN!!!!! Very sweet, very spicy holy moly this is CINNAMON! It's, er, pretty loud on my skin... actually not bad-smelling, I like cinnamon, but very lound and rather one-note. Edit: had to wash it off, it just became too overwhelming.

At first I did not get on with this one very well; I liked the scent of it, but it did not feel very 'me'. Gradually though, I have started to appreciate it more and more. Part of that is the phero, I guess; Treasured Hearts just seems to work very well. But the scent itself is lovely too; not as earthy as I'd expected, but more green, like foliage. Dark green, solid foliage, a quiet forest, with a flower here and there. It's not floral really, but it is very plant-like to my nose. I've found it works really well if I combine it with something creamy, like Occo white; I have a feeling that Occo red (or LP red) would layer really well with this, too. So, I have now ended up with two FBs of it... And I think that might be enough, but I am not even sure!

Coffee, lots of coffee; with thick heavy cream and a dash of pumpkiny spice, but mostly coffee. I feel wide awake after sniffing this all evening! It's lovely and sophisticated and warm and creamy; oddly enough though, I could see a man wear this too. There is something about it that evokes beards and flannels for me! Very nice, and I think I would love this as a drink - but I don't think I will need more than the sample, it feels not quite 'me'. Possibly because I am lacking a beard...

Oh yay, I am looking forward to (and saving up for) Pheromas! Great news about the dropper bottles, I loved those.

I would never want to be without: - Perfect Match - Treasured Hearts - some form of cops; probably Occo Black. Or Red. Or White, or Gold...

This one is SO weird!! It starts out a lovely, gooey, warm autumn scent; apples and caramel and sweet dried leaves - not fresh apple, but sweet cooked applesauce. I'm thinking Yay, full bottle! But after a while something in it starts to take over; the dried fall leaves conspire with the hint of smokeyness in the distance. It's like the scent of a smothered, wet fire; not very pleasant at all. In the distance, the caramel and the applesauce are still jumping up and down, trying to get my attention, but for the moment they are completely drowned out by the wet, burning leaves. I'm going to have to try this again later, since the initial stage is so lovely...

Oh, this sounds really really good! I can't wait until November...

I am slowly discovering I love this phero! I get such lovely hits from it; people giving me extra money, making me cups of tea (whereas in that situation I am the employee and he the employer; I would have made more sense if I made him the tea!), going out of their way in order to make me happy with an exchange in a store... Today I combined it, sort of by accident, with Occo White. Whoa, world, watch out!!! I had people (both men and women) falling over themselves to help me, offer me food and drink, a place to sit next to them, helping me carry stuff - there were even two guys at a counter who both insisted on helping me at the same time; one ended up pouring my tea, the other handling the payment. It was so cute, like two little kids both trying their best to please their favorite parent, fighting over who could do the most.... And everybody was just so happy to see me, like they had been waiting all day (all their lives even) for me and I was even better than they'd hoped. Loving this, but I have to remember to only use these Powers for good! :banana124:

My sampler isn't here yet (not even shipped yet, but soon I hope, soon, my preciousss...) but I am sort of tempted to get the full bottle set anyway. Is it odd that I would almost consider getting them all as sprays (apart from the copped one I guess) so I can see the labels the best? (not going to do that though, I don't have that sort of money to spend, alas!) I have no idea what most of these will smell like but I am SO completlely enthralled by the labels!

LOL, Eggers, I do find myself waiting with posting reviews of scents I really love until I have secured a bottle (or two)! Hmmm, now you're making me wonder if I should go find out if there are any bottles left...

This is very pleasant; oddly skin-like, if my skin were some kind of dessert. I can smell the almonds quite strongly at first; after a couple of minutes they mellow out, and I get some raspberry, a lovely subtle vanilla and a hint of nutmeg; the nutmeg is not very strong, but it serves to make it feel a bit more 'grown up', instead of the fruity teenager it might have been otherwise. It is not terribly strong, but it does last very well; it stays like a warm, soft presence for the rest of the day. It's a sweet, light, cheerful kind of scent; not completely innocent perhaps, but certainly carefree. I rather like it; I went back and forth about getting a bottle during the sale, but in the end it got pushed aside by more 'urgent' scents. I might end up regretting that, though.

Wow, Moggie is shy on me! In the vial, I love it; warm, sultry goodness, like a golden cat purring in the sunshine. On my skin, it goes 'mrieuw?' and then stretches and disappears.... If I stick my nose to my skin and inhale deeply I can imagine there is still a trace left, something very soft, like a cat's caress, just whiskers, but even that I am not sure of. I've tried it on several places on my body, several times of the month, moisturized with several different oils/creams beforehand, applied it on clothing... Same thing every time. Which leaves me a bit torn: I do love the whiff I get, but it is gone SO quickly! I might give it a whirl in my scent locket, see if that helps, but I really do prefer to wear perfumes on my body, not inside a hunk of silver.

I was so sure I had reviewed this already, but I can't find it! In the bottle, this is warm and lush and fruity and golden. On my skin, the honey comes out much more; it's not a scent I wear every day, I have to be in the mood for it. But when I am - when I feel like growling deep in my throat and gobbling up the day like it's a juicy bit of fruit, ripe and delicious, then it is a Perfect scent. It's very warm and strong; even if I've applied only a little bit, I keep catching little sultry tendrils of it. I do notice the cops in the bottle and in the first couple of minutes on my skin, but once dried down they are covered perfectly. It's a gorgeous scent, very raunchy and smutty!

Oh wow, Weenies!!!!!! :cat690: I LOVE the descriptions and it's THE BEST label set ever!!! If you'll excuse me, I'll be over here in a corner semi-patiently salivating; and I think I'll get out my Fantastic Menagerie tarot for the occasion.

I only have a sample of this one; didn't figure out I loved the scent (and Leather too, to my suprise!) until it was gone. I am hoarding the last few drops now! Crossing my fingers for rebrew one of these months....

LOL, that is a very nice hit! Leather may not be the best phero to compare it with I guess; that one does have rather a lot of Est, but it's very balanced (at least in my experience) by the other, more agressive / insistent pheros.

She is wonderful. You know, I tend to be a bit sluggish and tending to melancholy when I've just woken up (not a morning person; probably something to do with blood sugar) but just laying in bed for a minute, pondering which LP to wear that day, cheers me right up! Having said that, I am a bit wary about the Est in this... Does it have more than, say, Leather?
