  1. At least it's not the middle of summer anymore, when I would be alerted to the fact that it's already morning by bird chirping and the sun hitting my monitor...
  2. Right - last order until the October releases (which I really am going to have to save up for; October scents tend to be good on me!) has just been placed. I waffled over it for days, swapping out UNs and scents, considering adding 'just one more' (which would have had the added benefit of another free bottle! Alas, the budget really did not allow for that). I even got up and switched on the computer in the middle of the night a few times, to re-read reviews and swap things around in the cart... In the end, I ordered: - Totem: Goat - Flutterby (as a spray) - Open Windows (also a spray) - True Confessions (kept being torn between this one and TMI... but I still have some of my Pheromas sample of TMI left. Might get that next month though, big fan of B-nol!) - Treasured Hearts and samples of Garland with Lace and Caressful Breeze with Blatant Inviation. Pffff, it was really rather difficult to make up my mind this time, for some reason! I've also already started a list of the UN pheros I'd like to try during Pheromas (mostly things I haven't tried, or that I only have in scents that don't work so well on my skin) and that list is already becoming huge, too.... And now I am ready to settle in for a long wait (I have a feeling they are going to have an incribly busy weekend at LPMP headquarters!) and play with and enjoy all the lovely pheros and scents I already have!
  3. This was slightly less sweet than I expected; the Nag Champa incense I use is quite sweet - and this one being a 'sugared'. Initially, in the bottle and on my skin, it is quite a dry and almost woodsy smell. Slowly, it morphs and sweetens a little bit; it's not overwhelming but it is quite present. There is something dreamy about it; makes me want to sit down into a big chair and bury my nose in a book (something with dragons and mountains and curses and love and tears and treasure) and only come up for air to make more tea. It's very nice now, but I do think I'll use it layered with something sweeter (LP pink maybe; LP original would work too, of course) for the moment. However, I do suspect this is one of those scents that will age very well, becoming smoother and more mellow and sweeter with age.
  4. I decided to get this one purely based on Mara's recommendation - and I am SO glad! In the bottle it's sort of sweet smelling, with a hint of something citrussy. On my skin, at first it's a fresh breeze of light sweetness and flowery citrus; very innocent, not foody or cloying in the slightest, more the way you'd expect blossoms to smell. Slowly, the scent morphs a little; the sweetness backs off a little bit more and something slightly darker and serious moves forward; it's not strong or in-your-face, but sort of solid and grounded. After about half an hour the morphing seems to be done and I'm left with a very balanced, calm sort of scent that reminds me of the feeling you can get in a dark forest on a sunny day; like you're in a calm, cool place, protected somehow. It's like there is a person with you who is very collected and responsible - it made me feel like it was 'safe' to relax, somehow (guess I'd been a little tense without noticing it!). The scent is lovely; it will lend itself to layering perfectly of course, all the LPs for instance would work terrific and make it a bit more sensual, but I love it just as it is, too!
  5. Hi Mara, thank you for this - it is a bit of a relief, I was feeling rather breathless! The Sugared labels are all SO beautiful!!! I have trouble deciding which one(s) to order first; luckily (in a sense) I have some time to make up my mind yet because I don't have any room in my budget until September.
  6. Thank you! Still verrrrry tempting though - but they all are! Let's see, around 100 different Sugareds.... If I try out two every month, plus an extra one for Christmast, it's going to take me four years to try them all out....
  7. Oh wow, these are all so wonderful - what a gorgeous bunch of people here!!! Probably a silly question, but I don't suppose the Sugared Leather has the Leather phero mix in it? I've recently discovered I quite like that one.
  8. I spent my entire holiday planning my August order (well, mostly in bed while falling asleep - too many other great things to do during the day!) but unfortunately, it turns out that Seer (which I really wanted to get a FB of) was part of the sale offers - and sold out by the time I had a chance to get online. Which makes me sort of want to re-arrange the whole carefully planned order... I guess I'll be putting a Wanted out for Seer in the near future, I've come to love it so much!
  9. That's encouraging; Cougar does not work for me, and I have a FB of Pherodise (with Lumina) on the way.
  10. No, it doesn't actually give any information, not about the sender, the adressee or the parcel; it just says that the information is only available to Canada - so I can't see anything (since I am not in Canada ). It has me a little bit worried now - I don't suppose anything went wrong with putting the address on? Usually, the tracking can be behind with updating, but there would at least be something....
  11. LOL, thank you! Not quite yet though; I think I discovered LPMP early September.
  12. Weirdness: I caved and decided I'd track my parcel (I try not to bother, because seeing what happens along the way does not make the smellies show up any faster) but when I enter the tracking number, it says that tracking information for that parcel is only available to Canada. I didn't think LPMP moved to Canada, did they? I'm in the Netherlands, so it's not that the destination is in Canada... Oh well, guess I'll have to continue keeping my fingers & toes crossed!
  13. I am both looking forward to and dreading the sale.... Especially since I'll probably return home completely broke just as it starts! Ha, that means I found LPMP almost a year ago; the sale had just ended when I placed my first order. It has been a much enriched year!
  14. Hmm, I put my sample of LP white aside in the 'nice, but probably not something I'll reach for often' bag (I keep my samples organized in the different bags LP sends out - very handy!) but I might have to pull it out if it's similar to Flutterby; it might be nice for warm weather, actually. Thank you for the tip!
  15. Completely agreed on not having tatoos you hate! I hope the new tattoo will be gorgeous. I keep meaning to get some UNs (maybe one a month would be good) of pheros I love, and then some gorgeous scents show up and get in the way..... I ordered a FB of Pherodise (because I am hoping both scent and phero will be perfect for vacation) and about three samples - and I'm sort of kicking myself for not ordering a sample of the new Occo Ambrosia. Oh well, there is always next month....
  16. Soooo, what did ya get? I'm sure it will be worth it!
  17. I got a sample of this a while ago, and while it's still on my 'hopefully someday FB' list, I see I never did get around to reviewing it. I got it out today because I was curious if I had any scents with cocoa butter - and this one does have that. It's not a strong element of the scent for me; it lends a tiny bit of sweetness at the beginning, but it is far from overwhelming. This starts out sort of dry on me, almost tart - with the cocoa butter the only warmth in it. It's lovely though; sort of warm and golden in a papery dry way, like those leaves you get in the fall, that have been dried out for a long time and are now very fragile and sweet-smelling. After about half an hour on my skin, most of the cocoa butter is gone, but some of the dryness as well; it's left behind a lovely, hazy, soft scent, somewhere inbetween a sweet, sheer golden floral and a kind of skin musk. Very elegant, somehow, rather sophisticated and very, very lovely!
  18. This is delicious! It quickly morphs from a dark, non-sweet chocolate scent into something that is more like perfume than food - but still slightly cocoa-ish, fortunately. There also is just a hint of coffee at first, which unfortunately quickly disappears. I'm having trouble describing the drydown; it's lovely and very complex. Not very strong, but that is fine. Probably my favorite chocolate-scent so far. Will have to revisit it when I'm feeling a bit more wordy!
  19. Anyone who has smelled Pherodise yet? I ordered a full bottle unsniffed....
  20. Oh, that is SO frustrating! Isn't there anyone who could pick it up for you?
  21. Just got a notification that my order shipped on Friday!!!!! :cat690: Parcels seem to take around a week to get here (which, considering they have to travel all the way to the Netherlands, is amazing - LP has great shipping mojo!) which means there is a very decent chance that I will be able to bring these lovelies with me on holiday!
  22. Thank you NuTrix!! I am SO looking forward to it; it's a bit scary, but in a good way, you know? And I'm already planning which pheros / scents to bring; ukuleles sort of automatically add a bit of Hawaiian flair, so my sample of Aloha Pumehana should be great. And LP Pink as well I think, that's just such a happy comfort scent for me. And then Prague itself has more of an old, slightly Gothic feel, so I'm going to bring some LP Black as well. And probably some Perfect Match (either Un- or in Allumette) because that is such a great phero for all kinds of occasions. And of course I'm still hoping to be able to bring some of those gorgeous men with me as well, for, eh, inspiration....
  23. This is sort of a 'warm' white, if that makes sense. It's floral but not light on me; in fact, it gets very strong on my skin. There isn't so much one particular element that gets amped; instead, the volume on the entire scent gets turned up to 11! Sort of fun actually, but I do have to be careful how much I apply of it. A small swipe from the sample wand goes a long way! It's a warm, sultry, summery floral. Something almost lazy and sensual about it. Did get a very sweet hit from it; the lady who was waiting behind me in line at a public bathroom to wash her hands (as I was washing mine) commented on how lovely the soap smelled. I'm pretty sure that was me, and not the soap! I don't think I'll go FB on this though, it's a bit too overwhelming. Might get another sample at some point to play around with.
