Egg is awesome. If its still available It's become like Sugared Marshmallow Egg Musk. It was always like tgat but age has really made it more so.

Birkeys I have a 2011 ed. That one, Is similar but a tinge of pink.

I love this one though, Sugared Easter Egg Musk.

StacyK...I bet that edition is great with a tinge of pink! A little pink makes almost everything great!! I might try my Egg with a dab of Sugared Pink Musk!

I have not tried any of the previous versions of Egg to be able to compare, but this version is lovely. It's a very light scent. When it first came out 3 years ago I liked it, but didn't love it. I tried it again more recently and since it has had time to age it has a lot more depth. It's a creamy, white and slightly sweet amber musk. The marshmallow is more apparent which I love. It reminds me a bit of Sugared Egyptian Musk. Makes a great scent for the office...I could smell it hours after applying...Egg 2014 has now become a like/love potion which I reach for frequently!!

Sugared Pink Musk is a delightful, slightly sweet and pink, white musk. For those who are looking for a pink scent which is more demure than, for say, LP Pink-this is perfect!! I love musks and white musk is one of my favorites (Sugared White Musk included!)....this is white musk with a little sweet pink added for depth. It would layer well with Sugared Cherries or Sugared Strawberries...great for the office or even a teenager! A real love!!

These look wonderful and I can't wait to see notes!!! Bravo Mara!!! I love floral scents and from the labels it seems there might be some floral loves in these NRs!!!!

Just received my samples on Friday and of course this was the first I tried...I want to wear it a few more times before giving a full review, but it is a love for me!! When first applied it reminded me of EGG (anyone else?), but, once dry, it morphs...it is very light...I'm so glad I listened to Mara and got a fb spray in it...have a feeling I will be buying some backups...still trying the rest of the NRs and I have to say Mara outdid herself...there will be many loves!!!

Can't believe i haven't reviewed this one yet! It happens to be one of my favorites right now! I am not able to detect the different notes...in fact, I didn't even realize it had tobacco in it! usually I amp tobacco, but not with Kara Kedi. Upon first applying it has a very distinct smell (not bad-just one with which I am not familiar)..can't put my finger on it, but soon after it mellows and I'm left with something beautiful, rich and sexy!This is right up my alley! Very high end! I would say a very little goes a long way. it's a great scent for a day of shopping at the mall or for a night out..maybe a little heavy for the office. I purchased a spray in it and also a backup roll on.

I love the rich and sexy potions like Spark in the Dark...Kara Kedi I would place in that same category...smells divinely feminine on me...a true love!!!

 

I'll have to go back and find them. After trying the Mad Scientist Blend I'd asked you to make with the extra ingredient, I really don't think it needs anything besides just Perfect Match and Wanted Man. I'll definitely be interested to see what others think of how the blend works.

I have a question about the Wanted Man/Perfect Match combo and the MLH variant that are offered in the sample vials.....are these combos available for purchase in a regular size bottle/spray? or only in the samples?

also...do you have single of Beta-AndrostAnol and Allo-pregnanolone?

Birkeys, this is not my "non-foody" vanilla, this is the one I often call my soft or powdery vanilla and pretty much every time I use it the blend is a gigantic hit. I think you'll like this one very much.

Okay so this is very clean and sheer - it's that vanilla/sandalwood thing so many of us love, but with a much lighter touch to it, I would say. I want to say it's almost like a French Musk for guys. I love the Egyptian Musk varieties Mara uses, so that is the heart of it, with the other notes interwoven throughout, with no one characteristic dominating. This is something you could wear anytime, although it has more of a daytime casual vibe to me. It's one of those if you don't know what to wear, wear this kind of scents. It's a clean cotton sheets and fluffy blanket kind of cuddliness. Like with many other of Mara's musk variants this one is just perfect!

Thanks, Luna, for reviewing this....one question...is it the same vanilla as used in Sensual harmony? I can't wear non foody vanilla and Mara, I have noticed, distinguishes whether or not it is non-foody. I just wanted to make sure of this before ordering a FB...it sounds like a scent I will love!!! So excited about these NRs...so many that seem like they will be loves!!

I'm sure someone will review when they get their's. You can always order a sample first.

yeah...I am ordering a sampler of the NRs....it seems like it would be a "love" for me when looking at notes, but I hate to invest in a spray of it without reading any reviews or getting a feel for how it smells..guess I will just get the sampler for now and maybe a bottle next month...

I snagged a bottle of Snow Musk from the Trades. I wasn't sure about the peppermint, but I love musk so I had to at least try it. It's really quite fab!! The peppermint is balanced and gives it a coolness, perfect for a winter potion. After wearing it for a few hours the mint becomes even less evident and what it left is a slightly sweet whitish musk which I love! Mara did a perfect job of creating this...the name perfectly fits it!! For those musk lovers...I would definitely recommend it!!

I have to say I was leery of Awake because of the coffee, but I have found that it suits me quite well. The coffee fades to the background after a few minutes and I'm left with a delicious spicy pumpkin!! I really love it!! I'm so glad I didn't write it off without trying it first.I should know from past experiences to always try a potion first and not assume I wouldn't like one based on notes alone. This is a very cozy scent and I love to put it on when the weather suggests staying inside! A winner for me!!

I know I have stated this several times in the past, but let me just say it once more....the Pherotine UNscented phero trials are perfect to keep on hand for refreshing Mara's wax melts with pheros. The pheros in the melts last for about 4-5 hours, I think (correct me if I'm wrong), but the melts' scents last much longer. They have a little dropper inside and 3-5 drops (correct me again if I'm mistaken) are all that's needed!

Mara...these all look wonderful and I'm sure they smell even better!!!! Can not wait to have that sampler in my hands!!!!!

I had very high expectations for Topper..until recently I had only tried it in some of Mara's enhanced potions, such as Summershine. The effects in an enhanced potion are nice so I splurged and bought an unscented bottle (lowest strength)...WOW!! The first time I used it, it gave me a bit of a rush/high! lol Needless to say-I love it!! I don't go out a lot at all, so I mostly use it on days when I'm feeling a bit down. Really helps my mood. One of my favorite phero combos is Mega Watt with a couple spritzes of Topper. So far, Summershine is my favorite potion with Topper. I would definitely recommend a bottle of it and also would recommend getting an unscented bottle of Topper!! It's fabulousness in a bottle!!!

Got a sample of this in my last order and I really love it! I have a really hard time wearing copulins because my nose detects them very easily and I can't stand the smell. The OCCOs have worked well for me and I decided to give Beth's a try. It is a delicious foody vanilla scent! Very nice! It also works well with some of my other LP potions. In comparison with OCCO Vanilla I would say it is a bit more yellowy (if that makes sense), more like a french vanilla. Hides the cops well also. I will definitely keep this in stock in my arsenal...another one of Mara's greats!

Mara and gang...these look fabulous!!!! Can't wait to try them!! I have been on a pumpkin kick for several months now, so I have been very excited for the October NRs!!
