  1. May I reserve one bottle each of Chrissy's Pink Lavender Cake and the Black Leather/White Lace if there are any left to be had? Thank you!
  2. On the note of a natural phero signature vs. "synthesized," what about meeting someone using pheromones, and continuing usage throughout the introductory stage? Would that mean once you stop using it, the person will be confused or maybe sense you're not as intriguing? I hope you can still use Sneaky Clean, CerisLou! I think it is wonderfully scented and phero signature appropriate for a host of environments.
  3. This is the only scent where I experienced the infamous cycle-scent-change phenomena in full blast. When I first wore it (and on most days), it was all coconut and citrusy musk, like Cougar Potion and Coco y Frambuesa had a beautiful little LFM ballerina baby. Then a couple times after, I applied it one morning a few days prior to my period and there was nothing but ylang ylang and vanilla-honey smoothness. Today, I think I'm ovulating and it's straight teakwood, vanilla, bergamot, and musk. Aaaamazing. Yeah, so despite me throwing the notes all over the place, the Potion Master made magic in a bottle for me with this. No matter what note shows up, it's soft and warm and gorgeoussss.
  4. I don't know if there is much to add about this scent other than to say I fumbled my vial onto my linen couch and pillows, and wasn't even upset because it smelled so lovely. I only regret having to break out the alcohol to remove the oil stain. If it had been another fabric, I would have let the oil soak and sniff away happily while lounging. It's a clean and sweet and perfectly balanced tea/sugar/floral scent.
  5. In the bottle for me, the marshmallow is front and center with the other notes, specifically the sugar and spruce, waiting in line. On my skin, the two do a swap with the marshmallow and then the sugar and the spruce come forward after dry down. It's not a pokey spruce thanks to the sweeter, confectionery notes. I think it's a distinctly wintery/holiday scent, but you could maybe get away with wearing it other times of the year. Reindeer Bait is my number one Christmas/Holiday scent currently, but if you're not into gingerbread, I would definitely suggest this.
  6. I work with doctors everyday, and I agree that LFM works well from my end, especially the male ones. They seem less surly and more attentive no matter if I'm just passing by in greeting or working directly with them. Also, the TMI phero-enhanced fragrance always seems to help me in a new setting with new persons who I am eliciting help from. People don't exactly gab in my experience, but they do warm up quicker.
  7. Maybe Potion Master or others can answer this (if I didn't just miss it in the discussions), but does this blend lend energy to those around the wearer? My gentleman friend is a doctor with long hours and he tends to fall asleep when visiting, whether it is for fun or company while working. I'd prefer he didn't associate my place with getting so comfy/cuddly he falls asleep every time.
  8. I finally have had an uninterrupted stretch of time at home that allowed me to test this again. As someone who does poorly with caffeine, I'm of course interested in any "energy supplement" that doesn't make you feel like you're strapped to a monster truck of stimulants. I got a trial spray of Mega Watt with the November NR's. Today I placed a single spray to my cleavage. Took a few sniffs for good measure--the pheros are imperceptible for me after dry drown--and then went about bumbling about the place. After an hour, I found myself clearing out a corner of my bedroom where some shopping bags and purses had ended up stacked. I even went through each purse, cleaned them out--including vacuuming each one out--and then tackled my vanity. Then my makeup collection. Then my laundry pantry. Then my bathroom medicine cabinet... Lol Now, I enjoy organizing and itemizing and giggling at my wares, but that eventually leads to getting distracted and walking away having done little more than shuffle stuff around. Not today. Two trash bags went out with stuff pulled from shelves or neglected corners. That is a big deal. Especially since I was discerning what to do with a lot of small, often tiny items. Also, it felt easier to throw things away--something admittedly difficult for me. My executive decision skills were working nicely, and pretty much bottom-lining a lot of things. I could flow from one task to the next without waffling or feeling suddenly overwhelmed by the prospect of more things to do. I liked it a lot. In comparison, Swimming with Sharks sometimes give me a similar kind of focus, but MW is definitely more subtle and a lot more natural-feeling. I usually wear SWS in high amounts because the selfies hit hard and I love to feel 7-feet tall while crushing obstacles in my way (bwhahaha). But where as I get a driven and aggressive focus while bathed in SWS, it does often feel a little impatient--like, "What's next?! Next, next, next!" For me, if Sharks is a corporate commando of focus, Mega Watt is the responsible but wandering flower child. As far as "energy", about 85% of this time, I was standing or walking between rooms. And at no point did I think, "Oh geez, I've been standing for almost six hours, maybe I should sit." Nope. So that is definitely a part of the energy boost?, I'm sure. All in all, I would like to thank everyone who concocted this blend! I wish it the best of luck through development! ETA: The next day I woke up and tried to tackle some of the remaining clean-up projects. Didn't go so well. I got distracted or started feeling petulant about having to discard belongings. So definitely going to chalk up the slow burn energy boost and focus to Mega Watt. I might buy a bottle now...)
  9. Reaaaal late getting back here, but I appreciate everyone steering me clear of a true disaster so I'll mention how the date went. Date night went wonderfully. Even though I didn't have any Perfect Match or Gotcha at the time, after experimenting with my Pheromas trials, I can see where they would have been great choices. I ended up wearing LFN, which is my (high-heeled, sexy) shoe. Mr. Research remained ever the gentleman, and kept everything extremely respectful. Guess I got my wish because there was no hand-holding (lol) except for helping me in and out of the taxi's. Overall it was a really comfortable and relaxing time, and I thought a success. Now I'm a little confused though. Maybe he is too, though, since I've been testing some new pheros of late, lol. Schedule-wise, things have worked, so we've been seeing each other almost every other day. He's still quite hands off, though. Hmmm. Not that I'm complaining--it's really refreshing not to have someone pushy about taking clothes off two dates in (pheros or no). But still, it's curious... I've been changing up the phero signature quite a bit, so I am going to have to pick one and stick with one. Started off with Totem: Bat w/LFN (first significant conversation, and first date at the ballet), Betrothal Potion two times (second date at the movies), then Coquette w/Bang! when he visited (but that was a mistake, since I thought it was the November NR with Gotcha). On Sunday, he came over to watch football, so I applied UN Lace with a little Seer w/ True Confessions on the backs of my hands and in the part of my hair. After laying on his lap and fingering his football jersey (wafting the TC in his face lol) I started dropping some heavy questions that had been on my mind. The whole time I had to initiate contact, really. But he answered my questions openly and calmly and I was relieved with the responses so I let things be. But then we ordered pizza and he moved to sit in the chair next to the couch and left me by myself. After a while, he suddenly said, "Tell me one thing you like, and don't like." I offered some lame quirks like waking up before the alarm clock and hating wet feet. Then he dropped, "I like having sex in public places." LOL! It was a verrry interesting bunch of... Let's say, "charged" conversations after that, lol. But I do notice those topics come up usually only when we are physically separated. If I'm laying on his lap or on his shoulder, things stay rather prim and proper. He rarely initiates touch. However once I'm on the other end of the couch or laying out while he sits in a nearby chair, the whole atmosphere changes and he starts in on the after-hours talk... Just super interesting thing I thought I'd note. Not sure if I should continue with the Lace, Bang, or go with Gotcha. But I will definitely stay away from the B's!
  10. Thank you again ladies for steering me clear of an imminent disaster. After arriving at work, I applied a two inch swipe of LFM between my cleavage and two inches on either sides of my neck before smooshing it around with the backs of my hands. Think the amount was okay--maybe someone would suggest less? Seemed good because about an hour later, I got two hits from my supervisor and office mate as I stood to leave the interview. (They don't know I'm actively looking and interviewing.) The interview went kinda okay. Usually I go into an interview with a sharper mindset and focus (pheros or no), so the whole thing may have just been out of my comfort zone to start since I was literally sneaking from under my boss. Not sure if I can blame pheros. From experience LFM for me gives a charming coolness rather than a focus, so that could have played a part, but I just was off my game, point blank. I wasn't really expecting some of the questions for some stupid reason (even though they were basic fare), so I got thrown off and a little flustered/nervous. They would ask 'soft' or relative questions, which I've never been good at: "How do you deal with someone yelling at you?" "Why do you enjoy working with students?" etc. My answers are from the vein of of "It's just what I've been doing all my life, so I've found ways to be good at xyz." (PSA: Surgeons are belligerent babies most of the time.) Then they through me for a loop by both asking about where I see myself in 5 and 10 years, and like a damn fool I answer honestly with "Getting a graduate degree." Now I'm worried they won't hire me because I'm going to just leave. *smacks forehead* Finally one of the doctors asked me what do I like to do for hobbies (thanks LFM!), which should have been my time to shine. But all I literally thought is, "I budget my accounts so I can buy pheromone-enhanced boutique perfumes" LOL. Instead I lamely said, "I like crafts and recently bought a sewing machine. I am learning to sew." I can't even tell you how loud the GROAN going through my brain was. After, I just wanted to leave as soon as possible because it was just the most flat I've ever been in any interview. Sooo... guess there goes that opportunity. And I guess I'll be stuck under this one angry and manipulative surgeon until my hospital goes completely under and everyone's laid off. Next disaster up: Date night at the ballet! LOL. The way things are going I'll probably start off well before... (Edited: because I apparently liked saying one whole sentence twice. And I just generally couldn't write that day.)
  11. Whelp, I was completely off the mark, lol. Thank God for these forums, otherwise I would have blown two opportunities in a heartbeat! I unfortunately don't have Perfect Match yet, nor do I have Heart & Soul, but I think it is definitely time now that the Pheromas trials are available. Thank you thank you ladies for averting the disaster that would have been me! Interview is this morning at 11:30. Date is this Friday at 7:30. I'll let you know what happens! (Also, I don't know what to think of your avatar, Halo. I'm just... Really. I have no--just--I can't.)
  12. Hi all. I'm reading about the usual suggestions for first dates, which would include LFM, LFN, SS4W or Lace (which I unfortunately don't have yet). But I'm curious about a less sexual, less serious pheromone to use for a date with someone within the company. I was offered recently to go to the ballet on Friday with a research doctor I've seen around. We're both aspiring medical professionals (he's older and further along though) so I am more than a little self-conscious about appearing too... slutty, I suppose. As with most workplace "meetings" outside of the office, there's a certain amount of discretion needed so I'm looking to tone down the sexy in case he gets chatty with co-workers. For me, wearing LFN at work everyday in loose pants and shirt is one thing; wearing LFN or SS4W in a form-fitting black dress is another. Ideally, I would like to have a companionable first outing (maybe not "have him wrapped around my finger" just yet). I'll dress the part, but I want to keep the phero message to say "she's so intriguing" rather than "she tryna to get laaaaaid." If there is a phero that would avoid hand-holding, yeah I'm looking for it, lol. It sounds like one of the B's might help, but my experience is very limited unfortunately... So would anyone have a suggestion for a date with an medical professional/researcher that needs to stay out of the realm of 'hook-up'? I am asking for advice in the vein of male/unisex pheros, but if you have a tried and true favorite, I'm still all ears. Thanks! Aaaand, second question: Does anyone have an opinion on the used of TeddyBB or B2.2 for interviews instead of SWS? Sharks often gives me a laser-like focus that I'm afraid might come off too strong. I'm interviewing for a coordinator position (within the parent company but outside the hospital) so I want to basically be really well liked by a reserved, Muslim, 60-something, academics dean. He's a quiet man and the other person I may interview with is similarly introverted and keeps to himself. I could be honing in too much on the religion, but my theory is that he would be better swayed by a less feminine signature (assertive or not) and more of a buddy vibe. Thoughts on "one of the boys" pheros and interview experiences in general? Okay, I'll shut my trap... THANK YOU!
  13. Wore this last night before going to visit my brother who had some of his wisdom teeth out. Don't know what I was thinking slathering an un-tested phero before a family gather, but I did lol. I did some stripes in the crook of my elbow, and then across my throat. Immediately I was surprised by the masculine-leaning smell. In the bottle, it is almost like a cologne or light aftershave. After about twenty minutes, though, the vanilla-tempered sandalwood came forward. I could smell the tobacco and musk, but it settled well into a lovely gender-neutral skin-scent. My skin doesn't play nice with maple usually but this blend is so smooth I don't boost any gourmand or foody scent at all. Just a understated unisex fragrance where everything melds peacefully. I'd be curious about a virgin bottle, since my body soaked up the scent after about an hour and left mostly the hint of pheros. As for B2.2, I have to say it worked even better in a familial atmosphere than I thought. My parents checked him out too and we all chatting afterwards, and had a lovely, chill time, talking about this or that like we all didn't have work in the morning, lol. At one point, I even playfully put a blanket over my brother's mouth while he was criticizing my sister-in-law's driving story, saying, "Shhh... Let's cover that up. Wouldn't want you to catch cold in your jaw." Everyone laughed at him, and he surprisingly didn't say anything but smile to himself. Which was big, since he's usually the kind that has to get the last word or make a smartass remark. (I even did it three more times and he didn't tell me to stop once.) This morning my mother commented that my brother was "acting human for a change" and my father told her over coffee that he really enjoyed the time. So I'm convinced this is one to watch. Teddy BB makes me calm and sleep well. I'm sure B2.2 has even more effects waiting to be experienced.
  14. I am SO glad the woman across the room is talking excitedly on her cell phone because I'm fanning the TEARS of laughter from my eyes right now, LadyV. It is a very soft scent so cops may change things... Maybe Sheer EoW to experiment with a trial size? I live alone and currently haven't gone looking for someone to seduce, so can't really report on the sexy aspect. However, I can say that the lavender almost powders the vanilla and amber on my skin, preventing it from all ingredients going too snuggly on me. I'm always for MOAR LAVENDER but occasionally it's okay to have it take a backseat. Lavender tends to read very green on me like plant rather than powder or perfume, so I can see where less is more in this case. (Wore this to bed the other night and felt relaxed all morning like I woke up on a marshmallow. )
  15. This potion is what I imagine a succubus would smell like. It even frightens me a little, lol. It smells like inviting someone into your lair of forbidden sexual delights. "Oh, is that rope too tight, darling? Wonderful." Unfortunately, I think I'm with Tyvey in that it may be amber, patch, or black musk but none of them seem to work on me. I amp them like a screaming toddler during prayer service--even in the tiniest of amounts.Where is my cakey sweet goodness?! So while I can acknowledge the "you gon' eat this cookie" intent and ingredients, it probably won't get too much use from me. Unless some particularly interesting man candy happens along and inspires some very bold experimentation...
  16. I'm with Cherise. The name and label, paired with that ingredients list got my attention faster than anything else for the month. And now with your reviews, I really want to smell this on a man like, yesterday.
  17. Anything with marshmallow gets my attention so I bought a trial of this. I was surprised that the grapefruit and spices (is that you too, licorice?) are more prominent in this than I thought. I heard older versions were more "creamy" and sweet, which is what I love but this one leans a bit spicy and brighter. It's nice, but when I'm pushing ylang ylang and licorice with spices, while still wanting marshmallow... It's a little disappointing. Guess this gives a great excuse to buy a marshmallow layerable! Levitation is very close to OW for me. I don't have much experience with either but I can remark that I'm in a similarly "Open" mood. Not sure if the DHEAS are making a difference yet. I can note that I do find it easier to the idea of talking to people. Lately, I've preferred not to speak to anyone unless necessary, even going so far as to ignore texts. But wearing UN OW for the past week, and now Levitation today, I don't mind as much. If it makes sense... The prospect of continued socialization seems less daunting. Pretty sweet selfies for an acutely introverted person, I say! Overall, I'll keep my trial spray, but I'm not sure a full bottle is right for me at this time.
  18. Everyone's reviews here made me interested in Ebil-Ish in September, and then October releases came out and it was re-released, yaaay! This is the strongest vanilla blend I have in my collection now and it's just gorgeous. It's probably the 20 fold vanilla that is doing it, but this scent goes on and stays strong. Usually my body slurps up vanilla and I go nose-blind pretty quickly to it, but this one doesn't go anywhere but up and out so I don't waste any by over-applying. The vanilla with underlying musk is very present, with the clove and chai spices providing a great spark periodically to balance. Just when your nose is about to go, "Oh yeah vanilla," the spices reinvigorate the scent and make it more than just a skin-sweet musk. I feel like my own autumn dessert wearing this. Hmmm... I could see maybe adding this with my Flying Potion 2014 trial.
  19. I have been having difficulties getting to sleep on time lately, and then sleeping in far too late, despite taking about 2 mg of melantonin for the past few days. So last night I tried some Teddy BB (in The Big Easy) on my pillow, with a stripe of Beautiful Dreamer under my chin. Felt the usual bored restlessness for about ten minutes, and then, as if magically I just started feeling less focused and... grounded. Not sleepy or tired, just really really at one with the bed. This morning I woke up earlier than usual but about half an hour, and felt so rested I literally thought I had slept until Saturday. It felt that good and left me feeling so relaxed and rested. Despite all of the livid dreaming from the night before, I awoke feeling reflective but not obsessive about remembering it all, as usual. In fact, my brain was quiet all through getting ready and I felt nothing but calm all through my commute, even after missing a train and ended up arriving a little late. The good vibes just kept flowing. I think this is definitely going to be a great Pheromas buy.
  20. My mother loves the smell of "Blood on Snow" but still says, "I'm not sure I like the name" every time I tell her what it is. (Ohhh, her delicate Southern sensibilities.) I then gently remind her the names are often inspired by the images and/or experiences the scents conjure. That aside, she may frown, but she keeps huffing.
  21. *long-winded gasp* An Ashes to Dust rebrew? I think that is a gift for everyone after the year I've heard most people here (and offline) have had. Thank you Mara! That's definitely a full bottle intent potion on my holiday list.
  22. This is still within my first year at LPMP, and I just have to say that topics like this really show how much of a family everyone is. I can't describe what it is like to go to an online shop and see the owner being considerate enough to inform me about their plans, which might affect through the end of the year. And then to have the personal touch of asking about the customers? It's just an indescribably awed feeling for me. I suppose I should just say... Thank you to everyone at LPMP. And to the community who've made it more than just an awesome perfume site. (Gosh, I'm such a sap. And I'm wearing SWS right now so y'all are really amazing to have touched me while my boss-lady switch is on! LOL)
  23. Thanks for the tip, Alexandria! I think OW is the phero I waste the most. For some reason, when I spray it, the spray always seems to miss my body. That doesn't happen with any other bottle I have. (Maybe I figure because of the ingredients, it doesn't matter what I hit. Hahaha.)
  24. VerrryVeronica

    Iron Angel

I really like the sound of that, Vladmyra. In fact, I like the sound of this scent--I've been playing it too safe with oakmoss and sugars. Looking for a distinct change. I know this is kinda old... Bute, does anyone have a phero pairing they might suggest? Or is this perhaps a powerhouse on it's own and better off bare without additional intent?
  25. Extremely late... But I almost peed myself laughing at my desk when I read this.
