  1. I'm absolutely dying to see fairy labels. Fantasy art is my favorite.
  2. Don't smack me, but I've really enjoyed the break in new releases. I guess I'm easily overwhelmed by awesome I like having the time to "catch my breath," allocate some funds for the Etsy site, visit the trade threads, try out all those sniffies I've got. Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited about whatever's coming next, but it was nice having that little breather to play catch up. ,
  3. I put this one on layered with LP O this morning and I'm so in love with the combo that I had to run over here and post about it pronto I used just a little dab of the sugared vanilla bean and a good sized swipe of LP O, since the sugared wears pretty strong on me. SO GOOD
  4. Posting again because my daughter just used up her bottle from November and needed me to order her another. She says this always helps her sleep at night and helps her wake up in a good mood, she never wants to be without it. I don't have the heart to explain artisan perfume availability to her! Really lovely and there are still a couple on Etsy if anyone else could use some sweet dreams!
  5. Ohh, yes I am! I'm in the U.S. though, if that's ok with you then please get my email from Halo and I'm sure we can work something out Thanks!
  6. I'm sad I missed out on Decadent Diva. I've even kept an eye out on the trade threads, but it gets snatched up before I can put a word in! So that's the one I'm hoping will reappear...plus the ones I don't know I missed, as Donsie says.
  7. I don't think that amount of Gotcha is likely to result in an OD. Fragrances that already come phero-enhanced contain a lower concentration of phero than if you buy them boosted with an add-on or use the UN form. Which isn't to say that ODs are impossible with them, it's just doubtful that only two sprays would have that severe of an effect. Were you still wearing any pheros from the day before? Sometimes they can be tenacious, particularly if you get them in your hair or on your clothes. If not, it's entirely possible that there's something about that particular scent that doesn't play nice for you. I get chronic migraines and there are definitely some kinds of scents I can't handle. I can't comment on the glue, don't know nuthin' about that.
  8. Perfect Match, b2.2, cops. Those are my only hyperventilation-worthy picks Gotcha and Cuddle Bunny are also favorites, but I don't use them much.
  9. I love this one too. I'd love to score another bottle one of these days, it is gorgeous! I particularly love the musk, but the coconut is perfect for my preferences.
  10. Hi Lisa! Welcome! Please do check out Dolly's journal, there is a wealth of info in there, particularly the "newbie" threads! The easiest and most economical way to test drive pheros without making a big investment is to find a scent that is already phero enhanced and order a trial vial of it. Even if the scent is not something that is usually your "thing," it'll give you an idea of whether the phero blend in it is a good fit for you (and I have to say, I have tried MANY LP scents that were not my usual "thing" and ended up falling in love with them. Mara has a real gift!) I think you "need" some Cougar in your life. Don't be put off by the name if you're not interested in younger men, it will work on the older guys too and can give you back the hip wiggle! It also contains cops, but it's a small amount that is still work and church appropriate. I always recommend the newbie sampler (scroll down for the women's): http://www.lovepotionperfume.com/articles/Sets Because that is THE most helpful thing I ordered when I first found LPMP. Scented Cougar is already in there as one of the samples, as well as Sneaky Clean (which contains Super Sexy). LP Red is in there already too! Since you enjoy blending your own scents, you might also be interested in checking out the sugared layerables: http://lovepotion.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=9513 Layering a little sugared clove with your Une might be in order! I hope this helps a little!
  11. This is a really gorgeous sweet sandalwood scent to my nose. Initially it's VERY sweet, I get a very strong brown sugar kind of hit from it while it's still wet, but it calms down really quickly as it dries and just turns into this lovely, incense-y cloud. I love it and I'm so happy I got my grubby mitts on a bottle

I can't believe I never reviewed this one! I got a FB during the big sale last Aug. and I just love it! I'm not usually too big on cupcakey gourmand scents but the daffodil really saves this one for me. It's both nommable and pretty and it lasts a long time for me. I know there's a dirty joke in there somewhere, particularly given the label
  13. I agree w/hearts. I've worn it around kids of all ages with no issues. It seems to set a positive tone with everybody.
  14. I really want to try Aja, but I'm scared I'll be attacked by bees. Not being funny, totally serious.
  15. I was blessed to find a bottle up for grabs in the trade forums and thought I'd review. This is such a beautiful and unusual scent! It is really such a unique combo of sweet, spicy, and a little bit of floral. I'm having no problems with the marshmallow root amping, thankfully. I love the spiciness, it's so refreshing to wear a "spicy" scent that doesn't smell like baking spice
  16. Well...er...I've tried this one a couple of times now and it's had time to settle from its long cross country voyage, but I'm sorry to say I'm not really feeling it. It's not the scent's fault, I think it's my skin, though I did try at two different times in my cycle to make sure it wasn't hormonal. For some reason, I'm getting a hell of a lot of marshmallow out of it. It's very strong and very, very sweet. I get a nice hit of leafy greenness when I first put it on, and the first time I wore it, that first hit was all I got, then nothing but marshmallow no matter how hard I huffed I like marshmallow, but my migraine brain can't handle very sweet scents. Thankfully I didn't slather for its test run. Trying it a few days later, there is still a trace of green now after dry down, along with maybe a whisper of smokiness (but I could be imagining it). It is still mostly marshmallow and sweet in a way that I worry about in a neurological sense. (It's hard to explain, but it's a certain TYPE of sweetness that triggers the brain wacky in me, and this one is hitting that note for me). I do "roll" my bottles in my hands before applying, so I don't think it's an issue of the scent not melding. I just think this is one of those rare LPs that probably won't work for me. But again, I believe this is a "me thing" and not a critique of the actual scent or concept. DRATS, is what I say, because I love the idea of it!
  17. I'm sorry for your loss & your dad's setback *hugs*
  18. This is so beautiful. It just gets more and more gorgeous the longer I have it. Kicking myself now for not asking for 2 bottles when I had the chance! The leather has already calmed down a lot from just 5 days ago. It's no longer as "in yo' face!" when I first put it on, and the florals/vanilla are more prominent. I've worn nothing else for the last 3 days because I love it so much. I definitely think this one must be very susceptible to the dreaded travel shock, Stacy. Please report back in a few days when you re-try. I bet it will be much better.
  19. I wore this one today, sooo beautiful! I've been enamored with the idea of leather scents since trying (and falling in love with) Black Cat Mojo. I knew when I saw the notes that I had to have to this one and I'm so thrilled I was able to snap up a bottle! The leather does initially go on strong but after about an hour, it quietened very nicely. The vanilla is so lovely, non-foody and not overly sweet but somehow creamy, maybe because of the florals?? I don't have a very good nose for sorting out florals, that's a little above my pay grade, but it all works beautifully. I love it! I'm sure the leather will continue to soften as it ages and it's going to go from amazing to mind-blowing. Thanks Birkeys & Mara!
  20. The extreme interest is well justified. It's olfactory crack. You'll fall asleep clutching the bottle and wake up jonesing for your next slather.
  21. I almost chickened out of skin testing this one, I sniffed the little wand first and it smelled really tart to me, but I do know better and proved it by actually putting it on It is much better on the skin! The blackberry does remind me of blackberry jam, but it's not overly sweet. I absolutely adore the musk in this, I personally think it's at its best after a couple of hours of wearing when the fruitiness recedes some and the musk/benzoin bloom. Really very enjoyable and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it today. It's one of those slow burn romances for me though, I can live without a FB as long as I don't keep wearing it, but the longer I have it on, the more I "need" it.
  22. Please put me down for a Lusty Cherry too *paypal cries*
