  1. So true. Had a major leakage of PCMP and lost most of a bottle in my purse!
  2. Got my invoice in for sampler and a couple of bottles. I guess I am not yet in the fall spirit yet. I also still have my White Velvet Pumpkin ready to go from last year!
  3. Eastwood, you can do early reviews!!! The only problem is you may want to buy everything in the store. I’ve been there (and made a special trip to fly from LA simply to see the store during the first month of being unemployed last year) and the final cost of that trip. .well, I’m not proud of my lack of control : )
  4. On me, Cops don’t do much of anything in terms of reactions from others largely because I’m post-menopausal. So it probably just balances the scale—I like to think it makes me “feel” younger to others. I get my biggest hit from Scented Cougar. The only other one that is absolutely consistent for me is Dom Noire. Dominance alone—not so much. What Mara does so brilliantly is combine the scent with the pheromone to give you a synergistic reactions. The scent nudges the phero along, as it seems. The phero is like a film noir but the scent gives it color and personality which I need to be able to “lean in” to the whole experience. Make sure you try the phero’d scents in addition to unscented pheros for your “testing.”
  5. Ditto. The first hour was rough. It smelled overly sweet and artificial. But an hour later it smoothed out. This will be great for layering as it should cut the beginning into a more manageable period. As such, I’m keeping the bottle. I’m sorry it is sold out, but awfully glad this isn’t holy grail I feared it to be. As the ultimate sandalwood ho, I envisioned squirreling away dozens of bottles. I fretted over what I would have to give up—Starbucks, illicit trips to TJ Maxx, maybe even a ban on Ulta for a few months. Thankfully, I can manage my hoarder issues with this one. But the pineapple one? I’m sunk.
  6. VERY NICE! I am not a lavender person except at night, to sleep. I bought this, however, because I thought it might be similar to my beloved Jo Malone Black Amber Lavender perfume. It’s not very close—the black amber and musk are far more prominent in the commercial scent. This has a really crisp lavender—not medicinal or sharp, but crisp. But the staying power is incredible. Nothing ever lasts on me longer than a couple of hours and this is going strong 5 hours later. In the dry down, you get more of the amber and musk. Or, because I have my new Ambre Amour about 3 inches higher, they’ve blended to a perfect marriage of soft and herbal and floral. I’m loving it. Not to sleep but to kick ass. It definitely gives me a selfie of clean, crisp, confident, don’t f**k with me unless you are buying me an ice cold vodka martini (and I don’t even drink). I have to get a pair of work stilettos to wear with this.
  7. Perfect description. Pina Colada muffin. I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting spice and you nailed it—because it smells like a warm from the oven treat where spice is just part of the whole concoction. I turned mine into a light spray to wear over the OCCO Pineapple. Great job Eastwood!
  8. Holy moly this is GOOD! Creamy pineapple, just a hint of spice, drying down to a great vanilla. Not getting sandalwood much because it is so well blended. Layered with OCCO Pineapple. Zowie! I smell delicious
  9. Hell. Please reserve a Dari Gold and Rocket Powder. I am sunk
  10. The coco chocolate, orchid and pineapple are calling my name.
  11. Just got a Creamy Ylang and a Canaga Coco to compare against each other. I’m not a refined enough sniffer to tell the difference easily. Oddly, I am thinking of getting another Howl because it works on me to relax me enough to fall asleep with 30 minutes of reapplying, confirming my theory that I am really just a 7 year old in a 51 year old body.
  12. Stacy, same for me. This is coconut forward then cocoa butter. The cocoa butter is sweeter like Odalisque. This latest version of Creamy Ylang has a different cocoa butter than the previous version—more of the roasted/toasted in Dancing with Desire. To me, Creamy is like a dark roast coffee vs. this is a blonde roast, if that makes any sense. I like both but I also have a lot of coconut scents and I’m not getting the myrrh much right now. So ylang to ylang is similar, the cocoa butter is deeper on Creamy Ylang, and the coconut is more forward on Canaga. Ergo, I get to buy both Ylang and Canaga with no guilt.
  13. Invi- how are the Creamy ylang and CCC different to you? Deciding how many to buy
  14. Please reserve 1 of my creamy ylang’s. I can’t help it—I freaking love the cocoa butter in it! I am going to have it souped up with some phero so will email john.
  15. Haha. I rebrewed Creamy Ylang and wondered . . .could Mara be thinking of making this a scent? I absolutely will buy a truck load of Canaga. But all of them look so amazing. . . For the first time in a while, I’m craving florals. I’m so darned excited with so many having sandalwood.
  16. I got the same muddle. Going to let it sit for a bit. Love the concept. It’s just far more floral than honey on me and the honey is a very spring honey type. But I’ve been surprised after a week before and plan to be surprised again with this.
  17. I’m waiting patiently for a PE that I had recreated. So excited!
  18. Waiting patiently for PEs for May to be announced or sent. . .I got one this time!
  19. Did you try it? I might have more creamy ylang left : )
  20. This is sooo close to LP Black on me. Almost identical. I amp the patch so it is very heavy and resinous on me vs. vanilla and honey. I have a few bottles of the Dom laced LP Black variant and this is a dead ringer (without ringing my bell). Oops. That was dirty.
  21. Yep and a Heavenly Bodies. I’m a sucker for chai spice.
  22. I would like a Dominus please. Please release my bee because I can’t do both : (
