  1. Thanks so much! I will remember this! Can anybody tell me, are the PEs this month phero-enhanced as well?
  2. I have a question regarding Wendylynne's advice. While it makes sense to request an invoice when we're ordering from both sites, does that mean we wouldn't be able to use the Etsy coupon Mara mentioned earlier? (Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, this is my first Pheromas!)
  3. Ahh yes, the others not so much perhaps, though still undeniably lovely. I must admit that Rosalynd and Sensual Harmony are the two that I am anticipating the most eagerly, so perhaps they skewed my overall impression.
  4. What lovely, lovely labels! I forget what that style is called - Art Nouveau maybe? Whatever it is, they're exquisite!
  5. Could I please reserve a bottle of October Laundry and a bottle of I Heart Halloween?
  6. For me, the Hydrangea in this marches right out and makes itself at home. I haven't detected much honey or cocoa butter yet, but I love this scent far more than I thought I would. I would never have suspected myself of a weakness for Hydrangea notes in perfume, but I just can't stop sniffing this one!
  7. When I first sniffed this scent, I thought: "Oh! oh, how exquisite", and that's still my response every time I sniff. I've tried to detect particular notes, but my inexperience or the perfect blending has made it impossible. I wish I could give a more technical review, clarifying precisely what makes this so irresistible, but I'm afraid all I know is that I love it. Clear and summery without being steamy, outdoors without being too floral or too green, on me it's sheer and diaphanous, and if I could, I would smell like this all summer.
  8. Oh no! Is Garland and Lace v5 sold out? I got a sample in the sale, and it was glorious. All creamy eggnog and spicy gingerbread; the perfect happy, christmassy scent. I practically had my nose glued to my wrist the entire day I tested it, and was thinking I would need to buy, ohh, maybe a dozen bottles.
  9. Hurrah! A hit! I’ve been wanting a hit from LFM for a long time, so a little while ago, when I took my car into the repair shop, I thought: “Hmm, a good chance for testing” slathered almost half of my sample vial of “Pirouette” on, and chose to wait in the front room until the repairs were done. The manager who helped me when I first came in was a little flirty. (Along the lines of: “I wouldn’t do this for just anybody, but for you…) But then he usually is rather friendly and flirty, so I couldn’t tell if that counted as a genuine hit. However, there were a couple of unmistakable hits. Part way through, the assistant manager, who is usually pretty quiet and work-focused came out with my scheduled maintenance list. Usually when this happens, they call me up to the front desk, run over everything that my car is “overdue” for, and then push really hard for one or two items on it to be done that day because they are “critical”. This time however, the assistant manager came out to where I was sitting, went down on one knee right beside my chair, and slowly and carefully went over the list, item by item quietly explaining what each one was and entailed, then handed me the list, and walked away without pressuring me at all. Not only that, but through the entire exchange he didn’t look me in the eyes once. The whole thing was so unusual that I was actually a little unnerved, but then it struck me that it was probably the phero. Then later, I had another hit, this time from a man who had brought his truck in for an oil change, and waited in the front room as well. Now, I’ve already been warned that the best phero results come when you don’t dwell on them, so I’d equipped myself with a book I’d never read before, in order to keep my mind off it. I was reading my book and doing my best to ignore the overloud TV show that was on, when this man sat down in a nearby chair, and within 3 minutes he was smiling, chuckling, trying to make eye contact, commenting on the TV show, and trying to draw me into a conversation about it. I responded as politely as I could, but by now I was really engrossed in my book, had forgotten all about the phero, and was extremely irritated, wondering why he kept trying to draw my attention to the asinine TV show. (Couldn’t he see I was reading? Why wouldn’t he just leave me alone? Etc.) Then, when his truck was ready and he’d paid and was leaving, he made eye contact one last time as he headed out the door, beamed seraphically at me, and said: “Have a great day!” And as the door swung shut I realized: “Duh! It wasn’t his fault! I’m wearing Pirouette!” I’ll admit that these very divergent responses weren’t the results I anticipated from LFM, but they’re the most obvious phero hits I’ve had yet.
  10. I really wanted to love this one, but unfortunately, there is one note that, as a newbie, I cannot identify, but which amplifies right away and spends the first hour hissing at me. After that, it softens down to a sort of spiced peaches scent, which, while pleasant, isn’t really me. To be honest, I got a sample of this for the LFM, which I thought might be congruent with my personality, but I haven’t had any effects that I can definitely identify, (at least not with this scent). One Saturday I had several errands to run, and frustrated that I didn’t have any hits yet, I thought: “Well, I’ll slather it all over and see if I can get an OD so I’ll know how much is too much”. Accordingly, I slathered, and suffered through the first hour of the hissing, until I couldn’t smell it any more. Despite my best efforts though, I did not OD. At least, I don’t think so. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any definite hits either. My problem with getting hits is that I live in an area where people are normally quite pleasant, so I can’t lay my finger on one particular smile, or “Have a good day” or door that was held for me, and say: “There! That one was a hit!” However, all of the above were so frequent and consistent throughout the day, that at least some of them must have been a result of the phero. The perfume did receive one comment that made me laugh, though. Towards the end of the day, I was checking out at one store, and after maybe 30 seconds, the checkout clerk turned towards some of her fellow clerks standing nearby and said: “Okay. Somebody smells like candy. It must be you, Laura,” looking accusingly at one in particular, “it must be all that sugar you eat.” Laura sniffed her arm guiltily: “Umm, no, I don’t think so”. I just about cracked up, but after I got to my car I huffed my arm, and sure enough, it smelled like gummy peach ring candies!

The adjective that best describes this perfume on my skin is “coy” . The sort of coyness that can drive you crazy. I put it on, and almost immediately it advances, hand outstretched: “Good Afternoon. I am a Floral Perfume. Here is my card to that effect.” Quite pleasant, but rather…square. (Square perfume? Anybody? Just me? Ah well. ) Then, an hour later, after I have almost forgotten about it, I get the most glorious whiff of Lily of the Valley. I look around for a source, then remember my perfume and dive in to huff my wrist. And again it advances, hand outstretched: “Good Afternoon. I am a Floral Perfume. Here is my card…” Sigh. Twenty minutes later I smell the most exquisite jasmine. Again I huff and again it advances: “Good Afternoon. I am a Floral Perfume. Here is my…” And so it goes on. Throughout the day I get whiffs of varied and unbelievably lovely flowers, but when I lean in for a better sniff, it’s retreated into a more formal and general floral scent which, although sweet and gradually becoming softer and creamier, is nowhere near as ravishing as any of the teasing wafts that sneak up on me. It’s like I’m playing a game of “Made-You-Look” with my perfume!
  12. *curtsies* Charmed, I'm sure. So far my favorite perfume is Love Potion: White. I also like Sneaky Clean, Vampire Bait, Young Rose, and Spider Silk. My favorite phero so far is Cuddle Bunny, because it netted my first bona fide "hit". Thanks! Honestly, there were days when that's what it felt like.
  13. Hello Everyone, I found my way to LPMP through exploring perfumes on Etsy a few months ago, and was promptly hooked. Since then I've been buying samples, experimenting, and lurking on the forums gathering tips, tactics and information like a frenzied squirrel amassing nuts. I hope you'll be patient with me, though, as I still have many questions, especially about phero use. Initially the artisan perfumes themselves were what drew me to LPMP, but every order I've made has included some samples with pheros as well. I attribute this to the fledgling scientist in me that keeps whispering: "What would happen if you tried...?" I'm still just experimenting (very, very carefully) but I have gotten a couple modest "hits", which have encouraged me to experiment still more. Keeping my orders adapted to my budget has been my biggest challenge so far. From all that I've seen and read, this seems like a wonderful forum composed of marvelous, warm and supportive people, and I'm so excited to now be a part of it!
