  1. Lol! Actually it is and I will definitely look that one up! I do love anything that is sugary and pink.
  2. Is this Merry-ish? Because if so I need it :-)
  3. Okay good to know! Thanks! That is what I will do! I knew there had to be a trick :-)
  4. Is it legal to ask for a hold or reserve on a couple of bottles in order to prevent higher shipping costs? Because you know I do not want to offend those lovely peeps that ship me the goodness for free :-) But if Awake sells out, I am planning an epic fit. I think I will fling myself in the floor and cry. And piss myself. On purpose.
  5. Thanks for the info dear! I was low key panicking that I may not get my "Awake"! Lol!
  6. Soooo...hypothetically speaking...if I just happened to be sitting here right now plotting my next order, should I wait to submit in case something is coming down the pipe in a few days that I may need? This is all hypothetical...of course. I know this isn't the right place to ask a question most likely..so forgive me in advance! I plead newbie status! But I was wondering...how do you tell if a scent is permanent, seasonal, limited edition? I am getting my next order and really want some "Awake". It is still able to be ordered but will that change soon?Do I need to grab it soon?
  7. This is really beautiful! It is sweet and creamy. When I was reading the notes I was afraid this would give me the floral scent headache but it hasn't done so. If it doesn't trigger a migraine, this one is definitely in the running for a full bottle.
  8. I am just now giving all of these a test run and so far, this one is high on my list....right behind Merry. This is a very foody, bakery, sweet scent and those are my favorites! I actually adore patch and this one is good. I can definitely see this being used as a home scent because it smells that good. On my skin, the combination of pecan, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon is very forward and the thing I smell throughout. And the nutmeg....ah! It is enough to make your eyes roll back in your head. The nutmeg combined with the milk/butter/cream and the sugar gives his scent a crazy good creamy undertone that lasts for hours.
  9. Wow! Just wow! I looooovvveee me some honey scents and this is so good. This smells like a very realistic honey. I have a friend that is a beekeeper. He keeps us in honey with the honeycomb in mason jars. This smells like I stuck my nose right downin that mason jar. I get the musk, amber, and definitely the sugar, but mostly this is straight up honey with the comb.
  10. This is not one I even thought would be in the running for a full bottle based on the notes. My interest was based on the pheromone. Many people told me this one was calming and relaxing. I get really on edge when my husband is out of town and this was one that everyone was suggesting to me to combat that "fear". But when I tested this....oh man! It smells good! Like homemade jam and jelly good! I love patch and this one is gooooood! The blackberry and raspberry are so yummy. I would swear this has some sugars in it, but according to the notes it doesn't. I guess that is just the sweetness of the berries coming through.
  11. This is great! It is very fruity, but it is so well blended that it is hard to pick out the individual fruit notes. The vetiver is what keeps this interesting. It grounds the scent and helps with the longevity, linger, and throw. If I had to pick out the most dominant fruits, I would say they are pear and pineapple but it is such an interesting mixture that no one fruit note is crazy dominant.
  12. As a rule, I hate floral perfumes. That seems to have changed since I came here :-) This one is all coconutty magnolia georgeousness. I don't smell any papaya, but this is ah-may-zing! The coconut sweetens the magnolia and keeps it from going all stabby and sharp. The floral aspect of the magnolia tones down the coconut and keeps it from smelling like suntan lotion...although there is nothing wrong with that :-) Again, this one gives me a crazy scent memory. One of my favorite places on this earth is my aunt's lake house. She has the most beautiful place. In the spring, I like to go out on the water in the boat and take pictures of the house, dock, and hillside. The hillside is covered in pink and white dogwood trees...and...you guessed it..,magnolia trees! If we are having a special event, I get magnolia flowers and float them in crystal bowls for centerpieces. This one just reminds me of one of those days spent on the lake...hence the coconut suntan lotion goodness...and a celebration at night surrounded by these magnolia trees with the remnants of the day swirling around us.
  13. I am only getting the rose/amber/musk in this one. I do not smell chocolate or cocoa at all. I think the main theme of the month of November so far should be comfort and cozy! This is another warm and comfort evoking scent.
  14. I am pretty surprised by this one. The vanilla is so well blended with the oak and sandlewood. It is a perfect mixture of the soft and sweet grounded by the woods and spices. I don't know what I was expecting, but this was not it. This smells very expensive...like a liquid cashmere. Very very nice ! Very comforting and soft.
  15. This is probably the one I was most reluctant to test. But...I am once again pleasantly surprised. It has an instantly calming affect. The sweetness of this reminds me of nighttime baby wash...the ones with lavender. I will not order a FB of is but I will use my sample. This would be great for bedtime....and stressful times! It does morph a bit, but on this one the dry down is really great and I actually like it better than initial application. It becomes softer and sweeter with time.

    Bad Elf

I was afraid of this one. I was afraid the oats would go maple-y on me and my skin makes maple smell horrible. This isn't doing that so far and I am very thankful. I think the combo of the butter note and the oats is tipping in in that direction, but it is behaving ATM. I really love almond and I hope that the almond comes forward on the dry down. It is a great atmospheric smell and even if I can't wear it as perfume, this would smell AMAZING in the warmer!!
  17. Oh lawdy! I finally got this today ...and...holy smokes do I love it! LP peach fragrances are actually my favorite and I almost ordered a bottle unsniffled! I am glad I waited because now I need two bottles. I love each and every note in this perfume. It is more of a realistic peach than a peach scented kind of thing. When I was growing up we tried to plant some peach trees in our yard...I mean, this is the peach state so that is what you do. The trees never grew very well and never produced much fruit but the smell of those trees/fruit was heavenly. This perfume reminds me of sitting in those trees. It is like breathing in the scent of a tart, not quite ripe peach. Even though I don't think this is a peach candy or fake peach scent, I do have a peach candy that this reminds me of. It is called Butterfield's Peach Buds. I got these when I was a member of the Candy Club and got a box of candy each month. This is the most realistic peach candy you can imagine. It tastes like Aliya smells! If that makes sense...

    Merry! 2015

Oh Merry! How I do love thee! I think I need a spray of this and a roller....would that be overkill? I have had this on for about five hours now and it really hasn't morphed very much. Oh and..,disclaimer....this just came in the mail today and I am already wearing it. Hence my fear that my mailman is probably filing a restraining order on me as we speak. I was a little overly happy to see him today. I get a lot of sweet mulberry and it is very sugary. I like it a whole lot! I don't smell any eggnog, but I do have an undercurrent of nutmeg and spice blending in there nicely. This is going to sound a little crazy, but I definitely get the candle scent that Siren Song describes. This reminds me of Christmas in the late 80s. Back in the day, in middle school and high school I danced with a studio. Every December we would kick off the season in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the chamber of commerce with some performances. There would be several activities on the first weekend of the month. The highlights would be a Yule Log burning, a lighted Christmas parade, and several dance performances. This scent is so evocative of that whole weekend to me. Merry is like a scent memory that permeated all those activities of the weekend. Things like sipping hot chocolate and cider at the bonfire, warming up after the parade, going in and out of the candy stores on the strip, and Christmas music everywhere. There is also something a little naughty and sexy in Merry. I can imagine going on that trip now as an adult and seeing the sights and then back to a nice cabin tucked in the woods for some quality time!
  19. Welcome! Happy researching and testing :-)
  20. Lol! Me too Indie! I just now ordered November and December samplers! I am behind :-(
  21. Ooohhhh let me know about that combo! I don't have that one...
  22. Oh girl! You are gonna love that OCCO Ambrosia! I hoard it a little:-)
  23. I cannot wait to get my sample of this! I adore Kittenish and BAM Buttercream Peach. LP peaches are soooooooo good! I am sure this one won't disappoint !
  24. I wondered about that. Plus I amp the hell out of florals, which is why I think I have disliked them so much in the past. This is the first one I have ever even tolerated...much less loved :-( I am really sad about this.
  25. Rose, I wonder if it could be a hormonal thing. I had a hysterectomy last year and things are still a bit off in that department. Mai, I will definitely try that. I do not want to give up on the scent because I love it so much :-( Thank you ladies for responding! I appreciate the input so much as I still have so much to learn.
