  1. Leather is kinda a death note on me, and honey usually is as well sigh. Right from initial application, I get a huge blast of... booze? Which is baffling for me because there is none in the notes. It's like the booziness in the inside of a cherry cordial. That soon fades and lets the honey and leather with hints of vanilla take center stage. The throw on this is pretty incredible too.
  2. Yeah, this definitely has the vibe of "me, just better" going on. Ok this sounds like super dumb, but the whole day I was sniffing this on my wrist, I kept thinking I had smelled it before. Like it just reminded me of something in my past. And then I figured out for some reason, the drydown reminds me a lot of Abercrombie's Fierce (for men) cologne, which my high school boyfriend wore and I still absolutely adore as a scent. It also has oakmoss and musk as a basenote, so that's probably where I'm getting the association from... I really like this one and feels like it leans a bit more masculine - it's fresh, warm, and clean without being soapy, like Black Cat described. EDIT: 24 hours later, I can still smell this on my wrist.
  3. Hot, rich, creamy milk and lemon. I have no idea what copal or storax are unfortunately (never even heard of them until now) so I'm not sure what those smell like. Lemon is a note I kind of fear due to like... years of citrus dishwasher detergent - the kind that's really stabby/sharp, but the lemon in here is incredibly soft and creamy.
  4. I need to try this one again. I put it on without looking at the notes this morning, and I swore I smelled grapefruit in the beginning, followed by an earthy, almost herby note (probably the patch) and florals, and then grapefruit that was creamier. I'm guessing the grapefruit was actually my nose confusing it with orange and blossoms as a tangy/zesty note. Orchid can go a little wonky on me, so I gotta test this one again soon. I also didn't get coconut - it probably blended well into the creamy vanilla on drydown.
  5. I don't get very much honey from my vial... I probably should have shaken it up? It's mostly a blast of cocoa butter and musk from beginning to the end - it ends up smelling really similar to Tyvey's White Chocolate Rose on drydown for me.
  6. I love this one! It's really "bright." I get mostly honeysuckle and tea from initial application to drydown, though I thought I smelled a small hint of rose when I first put it on.
  7. LP: Red is one of my favorites. I just got my second bottle in since my first one is running low (probably like 2 mL left). Reminds me of those red hot cinnamon candies, and I get loads of compliments from guys with it. Paired with OCCO Red, it's a knockout.
  8. I think the Balm Bomb + bed combo worked too well! I ended up conking out on the sofa and napped for 2 hours! Would have kept sleeping too if my mom didn't insist on waking me up so I didn't nap into the evening LOL.
  9. Tried this one first because after the craziness of my injury I feel like I could use some peace and calm, and I got great selfies when I tried last year's Balm Bomb. I don't really smell the milk/butter/cream, but I've only had this on for about half an hour. It's mostly "green" on me, definitely on the more masculine side of unisex, and it's hard to separate out all the plant/leafy notes. I get a fresh linen/laundry scent right now, a little sharpness/interesting note from the basil, but mostly fresh sheets + green.
  10. The chocolate and raspberry of this reminds me a lot of Halloween's Howl. I also get a lot of orchid from this one, mixed with honey and swirls of raspberry and chocolate. I'm surprised that it wears close to the skin for others - it seems to throw quite a bit for me, at least I can catch a lot of whiffs of this when I tested it on my wrist. I'm also a bit sensitive to honey though, so that might be why.
  11. Welcome back! Totally feel you on the social media break. I was off Facebook for most of December, also made worse by getting dumped by my bf of 3.5 years sigh. Recently reactivated, but I still avoid using it as much as possible. I wore Open Windows to a date recently that worked out well! Gotcha might also work?
  12. Reminds me a lot of the days I used to work at a gin distillery! It's very boozy and juniper-y to me right out of the vial - feels almost a bit masculine. On drydown, I get this dark, powdery, almost spicy feel. The rose adds a bit of the "powdery" aspect for me, but isn't very strong on me.
  13. I'm grabbing a refill of LP: Red - first bottle I've nearly used up! Plus my PE in spray form, and trial sizes of all the women's + unisex scents for Pherotine.
  14. Gonna have to hunt for this on the trading post. I love sandalwood and vanilla... this sounds absolutely delicious.
  15. Mlee - you can reserve a bottle in the December PE's thread! This is such a wonderfully unique scent, and I love it so much! It's so well-blended, opening with floral - I can't particularly pick out which floral note jumps out the most. The floral fades into a beautiful spicy vanilla scent. It feels incredibly sophisticated! Thanks so much, Mara! I love this, and it feels especially perfect for this time of year.
  16. Witty Kitty - I get the vinegar scent too! I'm gonna experiment with my trial and try putting it on a cotton ball and putting that in my bra to see if it's my skin making it go vinegar-y... Need to get a scent locket one of these days.
  17. I'm not sure why but on first whiff this reminded me a lot of Stacy's Lady Luck, one of my favorite LPs, even though there's almost no overlap in the notes... I think it might be the "bright honey" in each. I usually don't go for fresh/clean scents but I keep sniffing my hand because this smells so good. It's just perfectly blended - I feel like I can literally smell all the notes and yet it's blended into one amazingly clean scent. The cleanness does remind me of laundry detergent but like, 100x better with the addition of the honey and vanilla and magnolia which for me really bloom in the drydown. I can't really explain because I suck at describing these scents apparently LOL. But I love it and am debating about whether to grab a FB.
  18. Wheeee if my order is big enough, can I be invoiced for a Vampiric Infusion (+Dec Ittys)?
  19. Is there a list of the new bath and body products?
  20. AHHHHHHHH I'm super excited! Finally a PE of my own Also would love an itty set!
  21. Just sent an invoice request for Tyvey's Bermuda Breakfast, Tyvey's Gooey Crunch, a PE, and samples of OCCO White and Garland & Lace v6!
  22. I wish I got more peach from mine! It's interesting because I definitely feel that on me, this scent feels more masculine than feminine even though it's supposed to be a feminine scent. I think it's the earthiness created by the water, musk, and sandalwood. I don't get any peach
