  1. This is definitely my fave of the Spring scents so far - gorgeous, full, golden, and grounded, smells of childhood, sun, and sweet earth. It's oddly a bit dirty on me which I am totally loving. Not smutty dirty, more like my husband's freshly washed armpit dirty. I'm not complaining. Call me crazy, but I personally don't have a lot of body odor so I adore it on others. Love to bury my nose in my man's pit even though he thinks I'm totally nuts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: 2 hours in and the dirtiness is gone, just the softest gingery rose basking in warm, golden sunshine. I could bathe in this. When the weather is finally warm here, I will.
  2. Wow, this sounds amazing!! Sorry if this is a silly question - how do I order it?
  3. Omg, last night I tried the Balm Bomb/BBM combo on and my husband got a hold of me before the dry down and despite my protestations, shoved his whole face into my arm trying to figure out what he was smelling. He was fascinated that he couldn't figure it out (I wasn't about to tell him), but eventually he declared I smelled like "a chocolate baby doll with a funky ass". ???
  4. Wearing this today - not only am I personally obsessed with the scent (may be my fave so far, but who can really pick a fave?), it never fails to get the beeeeeeest most over the top responses with hubby. Grabby, kissy, overly lovey dovey, aaaand of course that lil' bit more.... Drives him totally bananas and makes it impossible to get anything done, but I'm not complaining. After an already scandalous morning, he was working in the kitchen this afternoon and I walked past and he all but accosted me to attempt to devour my arm. I asked him if he liked the scent (I have not had to divulge my LPMP secret yet since for years he's been used to me bombarding him with at least 1 new fragrance a week) and he said, "No I hate it... *nibble nibble* I hate it so much *nibble nibble nibble* but just stay here for one more second..." I'll leave the rest of the afternoon to your imagination. Hubs is happily napping now - hopefully we're not too tired to make it to our dinner reservation tonight! Definitely does not make for a productive time, but I'm officially obsessed with this stuff. 6 thumbs up.
  5. I definitely do. Have been quite sad to discover that. I just got the UN in my last shipment and every time I've worn it, it makes me temporarily feel like the shizz, and then about an hour in I get sad and super spacey. Disconnected. I'm only wearing at most 2 drops, but I think it's the EST. Leather so far is the only EST blend I play well with, and we play very well indeed.
  6. Love this one so so much. So well blended, very sexy and deep and nice and smokey on me, just as I was hoping it would be. The wood elements are gorgeous, silky smooth, and so very rich. Feels like getting dolled up and drinking a whiskey alone at a fancy hotel bar. Did I mention I love this one? I'd gotten a trial vial to test if I'd like to get a full bottle for my husband, but I'm (not) sorry to say that's def not happening. This one is all me.
  7. I noticed there are only trial vials of AJA left - will there be more bottles soon?
  8. This is going to be a horrible review (if you could even call it that) because I don't quite have the best words to describe this yet, but the long and short is that I LOVE IT. Another one that's blended so well that the individual notes just make a feeling. Poised and soft, this is an introverted woman with enormous power who's slipped away midday to take a walk alone through a cactus garden in the early summer sun. She's taking a moment to gather the inner resources she needs so she can turn back around and masterfully be the person the adoring public expects her to be. This scent is an olfactory photograph of that moment - bright bright sun, dry air, blue sky, the sweet oiliness of clean flesh, strange blossoms and a gravel path, self-confidence and conviction, the fabric on a freshly pressed suit. If you've ever been to the Desert Garden in San Diego, that is my happy place and that's where this takes me. Love! Please be permanent!!
  9. This has quickly become my go-to phero. Just knowing I have it on makes me feel like Queen Bee and gives me some serious swagger, makes me feel more like me. I am definitely alpha but I struggle with depression and anxiety that makes me feel like an empty shadow, compounded especially by hormones. This has truly been a lifesaver since I've started playing with the UN. Helps me get a handle on the false nature of depressive thoughts and remember that I'm the shit!! The hits I get with this are awesome too - I have been wearing it when I know I'm going to see people who are holier-than-thou and it turns them super friendly if not downright deferential. A spritz of Pop Potion on top and I am a total celebrity. Was wearing an extra drop of this with Bad Girl Leather and OCCO Black (my first outdoor trial of that one) & that spritz of Pop yesterday and I swear the masses parted for me as I walked down the street. Got more DIHL than I could count, mostly from super pretty way younger dudes. Not my type at all, but I'll take the confirmation that this shit is the bomb! And it drives the Mr. BANANAS. He cannot stop staring all googly-eyed and telling me how gorgeous and powerful and fierce I am (why yes, thank you!). He's also alpha and already super mega handsy and cuddly but this drives him into peacocking protective mode, like he wants to show the world we are together and fierce and everybody better get out the way! Teamwork makes the dream work! I will never be without Leather, never ever ever ever.
  10. ^^ HA! Do not underestimate the power, silly boys! Putting that TH/cops combo on my to-try list.
  11. My most favorite kind of adventure!!! I am seriously high from sniffing through all my new vials and bottles. There is powerful juju in these sweet blends!
  12. Wow wow wow wow wow!!! Another freebie I would not have picked that totally 100% hit the mark of amazingness for me. I actually meant to put on a different sniffie but accidentally grabbed this instead and proceeded to fall instantly and deeply in love. Right out of the bottle, it's smells like what Thierry Mugler's Angel would be if I didn't absolutely hate it - which is to say all the sweet vanilla patch minus the headache inducing saccharine stabby syrup sharpness. As it blooms, it's a very dry type of sweet, like high quality candied nugs resting in a pouch of cigar tobacco. It's so cozy and evocative, makes me think of going camping in Mendocino under a full moon on the final days of summer, when the night air is just beginning to take on that crisp chill and you're bundled by the fire with your lover and your herb. I was nervous about the clove because I tend to really amp spices, but thankfully this one plays nice and is only slightly discernible under the gorgeous smoky patch, just enough to add a kick. It is really quite smoothly delicate on drydown. I think this would be great on a man, but ultimately on my skin I find it supremely sexily feminine in a dark, sultry, smokey way. I am so impressed and surprised by how much I love this one. If only I had not just placed my order yesterday! If you love sweet patchouli, if you love darker scents, if you love Angel, hell if you hate Angel as I did, this one is seriously a stunner. Just WOW!
  13. Thank you - I think I'll give her another go at a different TOM and see if I have a different response!
  14. Halo, you are so right!! Even in my tiny experience here, I am totally amazed by what these fragrances are doing in the bottle, on my skin, and in my HEAD. These beauties shift and change every time I put them on. And several things I thought would be meh, or never would have picked up for myself if I hadn't gotten a freebie, have totally smacked me in my face and demanded to be worshipped. In some ways they're almost adaptogens to me - over time they start to "know" me and the notes morph into what I need them to be. Mara is truly a magician of the highest order! I'm a "serious" fragrance collector (read: maniacal, hopeless, psychopath of an addict/hoarder) and was just telling my husband how disappointed I've been with most of the indie perfume houses I've been playing with lately. In comes LPMP - I'm in love. So I will put this one aside and give it some resting time. Though let's be clear, I'm actually kind of happy I found one I don't love. My bank account is breathing a biiiiiiiiiig sigh of relief... At the end of the day I figure hey, I'm not gambling or doing hard drugs or blowing my cash on fancy cars - let me have this little outlet, right? Right?????
  15. Unfortunately this is not my favorite on my skin - I'm am only getting medicinal blackberry and it's totally drowning out the tuberose and sage and making me feel quite ill. Why oh why??? I wanna have what y'all are having! I'm thinking fruits don't do well with me in general as much as I want them to - going to have to stick with my woods and incense and smoke and leather. I got this because I do like tuberose and because I wanted to try the LFN before it was restocked (and now I have a pherotine UN on the way -yay!) but I don't think I'm going to be able to wear this at all. *sob*
  16. Forgive me if this question was addressed elsewhere - does Cougar contain EST or beta-nol? I know it's a proprietary blend but wondering if anyone has any intel. I'm slowly realizing those ingredients and I may not be great friends. Still have more testing to do during different times in my cycle, but so far those ingredients more often than not make me weepy (with the exception of Leather - this is quickly making its way to be my ultimate go to). And I put on Cougar this morning and within a quarter hour was a weepy MESS for the rest of the day, even after bathing. Could have been a fluke but I defer first to all your expertise!
  17. Gotcha is no joke, y'all!! My husband and I have been apart for work for the last month and I tried this out on him the morning after I arrived home (the night before was Sexpionage, which is a sordid story for another time hehe...?). Snuck out of bed to smear some on with Chakra: Heart and head back in for cuddle times before breakfast. We are snuggling and talking like normal (hubby is a big cuddler) and suddenly he starts to cry and holds me close and details how much he missed me and says, "You're my queen, you're my queen" over and over again. He's always affectionate but this was over the top - GOTCHAAAA!!! The only downside was that it got me too... whoops! I was PMSing already and wearing it made me weepy half the day. Worth it for the extra lovin'? Hell yes. Will give her another go once Flo flies the coop.
  18. I am absolutely in love with this. It's become my go to bedtime scent, layered with a smidge of NoCo white. So calming and soothing, not overly sweet, and on me the lavender had a tiny bit of herbal bite to keep it interesting and not-too-tame. When I was a young'un I was *obsessed* with Aurora Borealis and my screennames and handles were always some form of Aurora, so this purchase would have been a no brainer no matter what, but I'm so pleased to love it as much as I do!
  19. Ah, good point! I'm so excited I'm not even thinking about creepers... I've got some UN Gotcha, maybe I'll start there with Heart Chakra when he picks me up and get to the sexy bits later...
  20. Thanks to Eastwood, I've now got this in my arsenal, and it's total adoration! So delicious and unique - right out of the bottle wet on my skin, I get a gorgeous almost nutty vibe - I know those notes don't exist in the breakdown, but I'm getting hazelnut or macadamia? Something velvety and subdued, very smooth. Then the creams and a touch of spice start to bloom, and to my delight nothing that overpowers. I can't quite do chocolate or honey generally, they either get too powdery or sickly, but this was beautifully liquid and balanced on my skin. Definitely foody but not like food, if that makes sense. I wore this out last night and my friend and I had people fawning over us all night. So EASTWOOD, thank you, girl for a stellar recommendation!!!!!! I'm going to see my husband tomorrow for the first time in a month and think I'm going to give this a whirl... I wonder if it will hold up for the 6 hr plane ride. I've tried other pheros on him before to with marvelous results, but he hasn't been exposed to any LPs yet - I AM SO EXCITED TO TEST THESE OUT! Which ones to pack which ones which ones??? Def this and def Compromising Positions! But what else??
