Sexy and sassy honey mead and benzoin melded with vanilla bean and warm woods.

I hope it's OK that I'm starting this topic, I didn't see this one listed here yet. It is absolutely divine. Put it on this morning and I can't stop huffing myself! That is a very sexy honey scent going on, and the benzoin is pretty forward, too. As it dries down, the other scents start to make themselves known. The vanilla is warm and inviting, and I don't know how Mara manages to capture that scent of the woods so perfectly but it feels like a walk through a deep, dark forest fresh from rain, with a hint of something autumnal in the background.

Really lovely, so glad I picked this one up!

Put it on this morning. Went on sweet and syrupy, dried down a little more like an iced, flour-based treat I can't put my finger on. It evolved throughout the day, giving hints of lavender behind a creamy and sweet overtone, though it also smelled more like a baked treat than a pudding to me. Definitely huffable, and netted some nice compliments!

I hope the weenies this year have something like Baby Boo. Adored that one!

This went on like candy and dried down into something almost powdery on me. I know this doesn't sound great, but similar in scent to how a cherry cough drop tastes? I'm usually so much better at describing these in a more flattering light, but I'm so rusty, lol. Despite my crappy choice of words, this really was delicious and I absolutely loved it. The mister did, too!

Seriously tempted to stock up on Sweet Leaf. Bought one on a whim for the sale and I am obsessed. Gotten tons of compliments with it, too!

@RosesArePink Ooh, thank you! I usually do, though of course I can hardly resist a sniff test the day things arrive. 😂 I adore all things cinnamon, so I'm really looking forward to that one. 

Bad Boy is fantastic. I left a little review here a while back. It's a date night staple for the mister. I also love my Bad Girl, though I haven't worn it in a while since I get a bit aggressive on the Leather and need to be careful not to get a 'tude around the boss. A friend gave me a bottle of Fair Ground and it's light and pleasant enough that I can wear it in the office without causing a stir, so I've been using that almost daily for months. Prior to that I had an obsession with Cheryl's Summer Tea, but I am running woefully low so I was looking to change it up. 

It's been a hot minute since I placed an order! Really excited to try some new scents (really intrigued by Buns of Cinn and Hemwicke), and things I missed since I've been away. Getting a ton of samples, and a handful of bottles unsniffed. Happy to have reserved a bottle of Bad Boy for the mister, too. That one smells delish, and I'm excited to get more.

Ha! That gave me a good chuckle. I know exactly what she's referencing. That's a really great movie, I recommend it, too.  

This one was crisp and light in the vial. On the skin it wasn't bad, but it's not a scent I see myself wearing often. It does put me in mind of a floral/potpourri type of autumn leaves scent, which I actually like. If I had more occasion to wear it (feels like something to wear to a daytime autumn-themed party), I would absolutely go full vial, but I just couldn't think of an occasion where this one would make sense for me to have more than a trial or two at hand.

On the other hand, it might work on Mr. Crash if I can ever get him to start wearing the stuff I already got him. 

I like this a lot more than the older version I have a sample of from somewhere (2015, I think?). It's not as in your face. This one is more spicy, resinous, and delicious, like some kind of chewy cinnamon candy. Very nice, very huffable! ❤️ 

I adore this scent. In the vial, it's a dark, dirty vanilla whispering about doing bad things in the dark.... and on the skin, it delivers on those whispered promises.

The musk accent is what I think makes this deliciously decadent vanilla so intriguing on the skin. I loooooove this, and I'm so glad I got an FB unsniffed! Great staying power, and absolutely worth a good slather when you want to turn some heads. 

In the vial, this one is OH MY GOD YUM! The perfect sweet vanilla pumpkin! 

At first, the oatmeal is really obnoxious on first application on my skin, but it becomes DELICIOUS after dry down, like a spicy pumpkin treat! Completely different than what I get in the vial, but lovely, and a nice occasional alternative to Black or White Velvet Pumpkin (both scents I also adore). It lasted a good long while, too. I really liked this one a lot. 

This is the first time (to my recollection) that I've tried a scent with an earth note, and I have to say I am liking it a lot more than I expected. It's funny, but the way the dragon's blood, patch and myrrh combines with the pumpkin puts me more in mind of richly spiced apples than pumpkins. There's a bit of a wicked edge to it... more like Snow White's poisoned apple than a sweet treat. It's really good, and definitely different. It feels like it's perfect for a late day or night time autumnal event or party.

I never tried Allumette, so I can't make a comparison, but I love the dark vanilla smokiness of this one. The smoke element is really forward on me, but (at least to my nose) that's what makes it different and more compelling.

This is so lovely! I am so glad I took a chance on a bottle of this one unsniffed. None of the notes are singularly overpowering, and the vanilla, tonka/oud, and licorice all come together in a soft, warm, delicious blend that just makes me want to curl up under some comfy covers and roll around enjoying it for a while.

I will say I detect the licorice more than the other notes, but it's not sweet or candy like. The way the vanilla and tonka come together almost makes me think of some kind of lightly sweetened puff pastry. It's funny, and a little bit strange, but even though they're nothing alike for some reason it puts me in mind of the guava pastries I used to get at Porto's Bakery back in California. 

Overall, I think this is a delight and I'm really glad to have it in my LP collection. I only hope there will be a rebrew at some point, because given how much I like it and how much the mister did, I'm going to be wearing this one a lot!

@Vicki Lee OMG I know! I was hesitant to try some of the pheros because they just didn't sound that useful, or the name made it sound like something I didn't really need, but they turned out to be incredible under the right circumstances. Even though I've had a bunch of the blends for months, I'm still learning and feeling out how some of them work for me, but I've gotten so much valuable insight off the forum reviews and journal posts here that I'm sure that saved me a lot of time and experimenting (and wasted pheros/potential ODs)! 

@Vicki Lee, yeah, I understand. I hope by the time you can do it without impacting your bank account too heavily you're able to get your hands on some Ebil-ish, then! And I am going to plan to grab some Honeyed LP in oil soon-ish.

@Vicki Lee I've been trying to limit myself to one order a month. One or two FBs from the stuff I've tried that I know I can and will wear often, and a few samples each order. This way I don't go TOO crazy.  That said, I like this one so much I just may order another bottle of it in my next batch of purchases before it disappears. It's just too good!

Super excited my 'Weenies order shipped today, too! Eeeee, I can't wait to get my grabby hands on Ebil-ish and try out all of the new scents in the sampler!
