  1. It sounds like from your post that you're a little uncomfortable or anxious about this upcoming party. In view of that, I'd say - screw everyone else, wear something that will make you feel good and at ease. All of these pheros are great socials - which phero makes you feel how you want to feel at the party? Pick that one. If you feel good, you'll have a better time, and other people will feel good too. You can always wear something for you on your chest or neck and something more social or lively on your wrists. If you have a few days, go ahead and experiment. But please take care of yourself as well. šŸ’—
  2. I don't have fibromyalgia, but I struggle a lot with fatigue. I'm going to have to try out the CoQ10 and the LFN!
  3. I am a huge fan of Sensual Harmony. Itā€™s in my top 10 and is a mainstay in my business trip kit. Itā€™s elegant, versatile, the LFM is a confidence booster, and I love the vanilla and ylang ylang combo! šŸ„° However, sometimes I have to watch out for the ā€œintimidation factor.ā€ Usually not an issue because I mostly work with people more senior to me, but today I was meeting a more junior associate. I held my hand out to shake hands and he just froze! One of the other guys commented later that he thought the poor guy was scared of me. I am not a scary person at all by appearance, haha. The good news is that he did eventually feel comfortable enough to shake my hand after dinner. šŸ˜Š
  4. Welcome! I think Girl/girl was a good one for that. I donā€™t know if itā€™s still around, but if not, you could probably get some in trade threads. (The Trading Post). Some links you might be interested in:
  5. Yay, Iā€™m glad it was helpful! The extras are great for actual muffins, too. šŸ˜Š
  6. Thereā€™s also silicone cupcake inserts if you want to use something thatā€™s reusable!
  7. Got this in the sale. This is light and delicate, but very, very good. I get a whiff of a similar cherry to that in Special Delivery at first, until the other notes come out. The cherry is the star but is made fresher and tarter with the red currant, cassis, and verbena. The musk and amber set it off perfectly, giving it a bit more mystery and sophistication. It wears close to the skin (on me, and after aging for over a decade, anyway) but that's fine since it is extremely huffable, haha.
  8. These look gorgeous! Alas, a home emergency kind of killed my budget, but once I take care of that I hope I can snag some of these in the future!
  9. Got this in the sale. Right now all I can say is: OMG this is like Cacao Amor! Not the same, but it has that same feeling. Aja can be temperamental on me, but it's just sweet honeyed goodness here. Perfect nighttime scent!
  10. So it won't let me edit during the sale, but I forgot to add that this is stronger and longer lasting than Gogo, which is more of a lighter summer scent. A little goes a long way! On a scale of 1=fruity scents (which always fade fast on me) to 10=La Sylphide (which I can only do a couple of dots of before everyone is commenting on it), it's like a 8. Whereas Gogo is more like a 4.
  11. @Mila I'm comparing Gogo and Liebchen side by side right now. My Liebchen has been resting for a little under 48 hrs, so there might be some slight travel shock. Vika was right on when she said that Liebchen was more like Warm and Cozy, which I would say is the closest comparison I've smelled. I would consider Liebchen a "deeper", slightly more camphorous (but not in a sharp or bad way) lavender. A more lavendery lavender than Gogo, which really amped up the creme-brulee and almost chocolatey notes and doesn't feel as "lavendery." As it blooms, the vanilla comes out and it becomes that nice smooth lavender/vanila/amber that LPMP is so good at. The vanilla in here is also deeper and stronger than in Gogo, where the cream felt more like a creme patisserie than deep, rich, vanilla. Gogo also has a silky, light, and almost "cool" evocation to me (maybe from some kind of musk?), which I don't get in Liebchen, which is darker, deeper, and richer. It starts out feeling like a winter scent, very rich and strong lavender/vanilla/amber, but then lightens up while keeping that essence. I'd say they're pretty different. So if you like lavenders, you need both!
  12. I was so worried because my tracking info wasn't updated once it got to my post office. But it is now safely in my possession (yay!) and I now smell like 5 different scents, haha.
  13. @Mila I think one of the sugar notes used in these is kind of creamy or buttery. I got the same vibe in my Sugared Cucumber, which was unexpected but surprisingly good. I've never smelled a sweet buttery cucumber but now I'm all about it, haha.
  14. There's still one left! It's not too late! šŸ˜Š I picked up Tortuga last year and I can attest to its specialness. It really is like being transported to the beach.
  15. @RosesArePink Interesting theory! I haven't had any noticeably terrible reactions to EST heavy blends, but I have noticed that "family men" react really well to EST. You know the kind of guy who's always talking about his wife and kids and all their milestones and trips and it's super sweet? Or the ones that might be more aggressive at work but are really gentle and protective with their kids. I feel like that kind of guy is extra nice and cheerful with EST.
  16. Mine shipped out Monday and I paid my invoice last Friday. So yours should be coming soon! Now I keep checking the USPS tracking, haha.
  17. This is what I tell myself every year, but every year I can't help "stocking up" in the sale, haha. I'm resolving to use up some of my older bottles this year. Sounds like a great order! I picked up Luxurious too - I didn't grab it last time around and regretted it. I know one of your PEs is Black Panther, what's the second one? [definitely not me scoping out the PEs to see if I need to save up for another order šŸ™ƒ]
  18. Noco Red: really nice, and much brighter than LP Red. Itā€™s not just Red-lite: itā€™s definitely itā€™s own scent. LP Red is more complex and layered, with that undercurrent of the amber and resins. Even though amber is in the notes for NoCo, itā€™s not nearly as strong as it is in LP Red for me: I mostly get a perfumey cinnamon vanilla sugar with a big dollop of bright apricot. If LP Red is too incensey or smoky for you, you might like NoCo better. I like blending the two the most: all the complexity of LP Red, but brightening it up a bit with the NoCo.
  19. @Vixy mixy šŸ˜®! In the best way possible. We need pictures, haha. Enjoy your collection! I bet there are lots of old and "new" favorites in there. You have plenty of time to use them, and as long as they bring you joy, that's what matters.
  20. This is really lovely. Very balanced: the juicy sweetness of the papaya, the creamy coconut and sandalwood, and the magnolia in the foreground. I donā€™t always love water accords (especially in commercial perfumes, where it goes straight to my sinuses), but Maraā€™s aquatic notes are always well blended into the scent and part of the overall ā€œstoryā€ as opposed to being a jack in the box that punches me in the nose. This is a lazy afternoon in a tropical garden. Maybe itā€™s the creaminess, but thereā€™s something a little gracefully languid about it. Iā€™m imagining a woman in one of those massive summer hats and chic sunglasses lounging with an icy drink.
  21. Realized I never reviewed this. This smells like an oatmeal raisin cookie without the raisins. Its not fluffy like a cake, definitely fresh baked oatmeal raisin cookies! Itā€™s one of those cookies that are chewy and buttery and melt in your mouth in a pool of spiced sweetness. Itā€™s not quite as creamy and a little different, but I think if you like CrĆØme Cake, you would like this too.
  22. @citrineI also picked up a bottle of Odalisque virgin! The most delicious sounding scents always come with BI and Bang! šŸ˜… Iā€™m glad I was able to snag a virgin one so I can slather withoutā€¦unintended consequences, haha. I realized that I prefer having phero enhanced scents to UNs - simpler and less stuff to carry! So I have some Luxurious, Liebchen, Yazmina, PCMP, and my trusty Sensual Harmony coming. And some TVs and Threebies. Now my wishlist is cleared outā€¦until PEs come out!
  23. Ooh, this sounds good. I love a good creamy sexy AF vanilla, and LPMP's vanilla drydown is incredible. I don't know what that super creamy buttery vanilla note is in the drydown of LP Pink/Fraise Citron, but it's so good that I sometimes surreptitiously sniff my cleavage, haha. I feel like my "scent education" hasn't progressed far enough where I feel ready to make a PE (still haven't figured out musk, resins, or the less instantly recognizable flowers like orchid, orange blossom, etc) but I'm looking forward to everyone else's creations!
  24. Definitely picking up some PCMP and probably Odalisque too - can't decide whether to get pheroed or virgin. Everything else, I'll figure out when the time comes, haha.
  25. My bottle of Oleander got a bit overlooked until now - Iā€™m always jumping between certain scents I get periodically obsessed with so sometimes bottles get forgotten! This is very light and neutral - I donā€™t know if Iā€™m noseblind to something or if itā€™s just really light and unobtrusive. This could easily be mistaken for soap or just a general natural ā€œcleanā€ vibe. Not the more in-your-face laundry kind of clean, but more subtle and natural, like clean air. You could 100% get away with this even in workplaces that discourage perfume. This and Gossamer Threads are the ultimate ā€œstealth pheroā€ scents for me. They donā€™t feel like perfume at all, but the scent still leaves the desired impression. In this case: clean, fresh, and pleasant.
