  1. I bought this for myself in spray and oil and it’s very comforting but also delicious. The spray is more masculine leaning but the oil is more subdued.

It smells like baking/eating gingerbread cookies inside a log cabin while the snow is coming down.

  2. I just got my package and this is so good I’m glad I got two bottles. Lmao

I was expecting it to be more like mother goddess but it’s very sheer probably from travel shock. It almost smells like pan Dulce now.

I imagine a spray would be amazing too and I kind of want to order one.

I’ll update later after it’s had some time to settle.

  3. I wore this yesterday with Sugared Amber and this combination is delicious.

I was afraid that it would end up wearing off faster without something else to ground it.

I really like gourmand scents when it’s colder out or during my cycle for some reason.

This is a story of falling out of love. 💔 Lol. I am being dramatic.

Anyway, I really, really liked Flan de Coco! I ordered a full bottle less than two weeks after getting the trial! I actually considered whether to get more than one full bottle!

I am a fan of flan! 🍮💕 I don't use coconut when making it, so I was curious how this fragrance would smell. When I sniffed this on Day 0, I thought it was Odalisque (2023). It has this somewhat powdery smell to me that I thought might have been the almond in Odalisque. I immediately liked this though.

I'd been wearing my trial on and off especially last month. One time, I wore it while walking out: this on one arm and Love Potion: Pink Lace on the other. This is quite potent. The smell of it wafting through my pullover as my body heat reactivated this and Pink Lace was just wonderful. I honestly thought that I liked this so much that Pink Lace became something I really liked out of association. 🍮💗

I put this on a paper towel either yesterday or the day before, and it's so potent that I could smell its scent whenever I got around the coffee table. It still smelled somewhat powdery to me, like powdered caramel and chocolate. Imagine dehydrating a flan (like those freeze-dried fruits) and grinding it into powder. That's what this smells like to me! It seems my nose is different because I'm not getting the same creamy quality that I would usually associate with the bouncy flan, but I do get that creamy smell for the first second or so when I sniff this during fresh application. 🌬️🍮👃🏻

So, why the falling out of love? Well, I mentioned in my Vessel review that I prefer Flan de Coco. However, now that I have full bottles of both, I have reached for Vessel way more. I haven't wanted to wear Flan de Coco for a while and I actually haven't even unsealed my Flan de Coco full bottle yet. I still have the trial too and this is so potent that just a little dab goes a long way. To be fair, I am almost out of my Vessel trial because I've accidentally spilt it at least twice while trying to apply it in the dark. Vessel also goes away quicker so I tend to reapply more, while Flan de Coco has more lasting power.

Flan de Coco is still a very delicious scent though. I think I might just need a break from it. I look forward to rediscovering this scent in the future! Thank you so much @Vika for requesting this!

you’re welcome! I’m glad other people love it too!

I used to hate flan growing up because it used to remind me of cold fried eggs that accidentally got syrup on them. When I got older though, I really started to love it more.

I have recently found out about coconut flan and it’s supposed to be really good. I’m looking into making it myself.

I love this scent because it’s so realistic and comforting. I do tend to take scent breaks in general though because I have so many and with LPMP there is always more than one favorite so don’t feel too guilty about that. lol

Your reviews on Vessel have convinced me to get a bottle though. Lol

Hello, @Vika and @Mila! How much cream do you use and how many jars do you have? I'm hoping to order for body use but I don't know how long a jar may last. I'm considering whether I should order one or two jars to maximize shipping. 🧴📦🫱🏻💵📬

    @Onyx

I only have one jar that I’ve had over the past few years but I am using it fairly often now so two should be plenty.

I only use about a dime size amount on my face and then a pea size amount for my legs. I try not to go overboard because of the copulins in it since I work in an office. Lol

It’s a 4oz jar but if you’re doing your whole body, you might be using more. It’s non greasy and it absorbs right away.

To compare it to my 16oz bottle of bioderma, I go through a bottle every 3 1/2 months and I don’t use a lot of that either for my whole body. So it’s personal preference.

We have already scented everything we have on hand, sorry!

So happy you like it! Thank you for the nice review! ❤️

@Potion Master you’re welcome! Thank you for making such a great product! ❤️

  6. I’ve had this for a couple of years but never really used it until today. The fragrance is there but not as strong as a fresh batch however, it’s very moisturizing and as far as the cops…well, it’s been an interesting morning at work 😂

I was afraid to be putting on too many cops so I never used it but it’s really nice I’m going to try it out on my face tonight because the cold weather is causing dry skin.

**JK I did not see my comment above LMAO I’ve only used it a couple of times **

but I used it in conjunction with LPO oil and spray too.

  7. Thank you for clarifying Luna!

The one I had in mind was

    Halo’s Lavender Musk:

    Skin musk/soapy possibly

    Sweet lavender

vanilla-I was waffling between vanilla bean and dry vanilla

    Dark Amber

    Mara,

I just saw your comment about what you’re trying to invoke with a scent.
For me, it’s comforting but sexy. Like being effortlessly put together and clean but still something that people can’t quite put their finger on but it’s familiar and intriguing.

    Ok! :D

These coins are relatively thin reproductions by the way, and we get them via the Catholic church.

The story goes something like this...

Jesus witnesses the treasury taking money from the populace, everyone is expected to pay two coins. He becomes incensed because the 2 coins are all an old widow woman has, yet to the rich people, two coins are nothing. It calls out hypocrisy and inequity, and encourages fairness on an institutional level.

    From Wiki:

These coins are usually sold or given in pairs to reflect the above biblical story. But a separate tradition has grown out of this as well. The tradition seems mainly to be in Latin countries, and it involves the giving of two of these coins, or sometimes an entire bag full of them, from a husband to a wife on their wedding day. The ritual signifies, that the husband pledges to be the money maker of the household, and promises in turn to hand over and entrust his earnings to his wife, in order for her to be the manager of the household. This is usually done during the wedding celebration for all to witness.

And there you go, thank you for asking!

Thank you Mara! For telling me the story about these coins!
And for explaining everything else too I appreciate it!
