Sorcerer's Apprentice (2/67)

  1. I know I said I needed to not buy perfumes due to my over abundance of my current collection, but trials don't count right? I can still buy some trials. Yeah, I think I can stick to trials and not feel guilty. Maybe? (Now you see how I ended up with a hoard of perfume in the first place )
  2. @RosesArePink the lack of reviews for un was why it took me so long to try it. I'm glad I did and wish I would've gotten it sooner. I like it much better than a few of my first purchases and have used it more often (I still have a nearly full bottle of Cuddle Bunny un which was part of my first order a year ago and less than half a bottle of Sexology un if that tells you something.)
  3. @RosesArePink I find Sexology to be right between Perfect Match and Sexpionage for me. It's still very sexy but also triggers emotional vulnerability. Sex is still on their mind but it's not the focus. It's not the tear your clothes and do it til dawn Sexpionage vibe, but it could turn that way if the mood is right. It's almost like they're thinking "if I bare my soul and kiss her neck, I'll be invited to get freaky". lol
  4. @citrine Spike and Thorn smells amazing! Smoky spicy incensy perfection. The phero in it causes me to cry so I don't have the full size bottle. The trial size is enough for me and I save it for when I need emotional release. I think I'm the only one who reacts that way to that phero. It sounds like it's calming for everyone else. But the scent is probably my fave.
  5. Thanks for sharing your experiences! I'm new to pheromones and have only used LPMP's phero blends and un pheros and Alkemia's pheros. I only got interested in pheros about a year ago, so I love hearing from others with more experience. For me, the most important part of using pheros is how they make me feel. It's great when others have a good reaction to them, but unless they also make me feel good, I won't wear them. OCCO is definitely one that I go light on and never wear alone. Cops tend to make me feel icky, like I need a bath, if I wear them alone but are fine if I add another phero and a strong spicy/woody perfume for cover. Sweet perfumes plus cops make me feel even grosser than cops alone. I also agree that a lot of the "not for work" pheros have worked out well for me in public and workplaces. The only one that really messed me up was Sexpionage and not because of others' reactions but because of what it does to me. Even a hint of being flirted with and suddenly I'm spouting innuendos. I'm too dangerous for the general public when I wear that un phero. 😈 Anyhow, welcome and looking forward to hearing more!
  6. @hedgehog I would share pics but it take me a lot of time to clear off a space that would fit everything onto it and then more time to gather them all from their homes (they're everywhere which is why I didn't realize how many there were), so you'll have to use your imagination. lol I really dived into indies (like LPMP) a few years ago, so those are all mostly new/barely used but before that I was into big designers (my favorites are CK Obsession and Givenchy Organza Indecence), so it was mostly about hunting for those vintage bottles. Not that there's anything wrong with the new versions (if there are new versions) but having all the different bottles is like having the perfume's timeline. Then on top of that, I make perfume as well and didn't count my creations in the inventory but if I had, that would add another 50 or so. It's a lot. Like a lot a lot. 😅
  7. As much as I love a great sale, I'm sitting this one out. I just finished an inventory of my perfume collection and I have over 500 bottles/containers of perfume and nearly as many trial bottles. 😳😓🤯😮 I'll probably replace some as I use them, especially un pheros, but I have enough perfume to last me several years and wow, I didn't realize it at all and now that I know, it kinda stresses me out.
  8. Yeah, I only pick up on apple now because I've been wearing it for quite a few months and my nose adjusted to it enough to pick up the nuances. At first there's no way I would've said this contains apple, but I catch it now.
  9. I love the tuberose and vetiver in this, but of all the ones I ordered, this one doesn't last long on me. I usually apply perfume oils to the topside of my arms and legs because my skin is hungry and will eat the scent, so it's the only way I can get the scent to last. Even so, this one will not stay. I'm thinking about adding some of this to an unscented lotion so I can double up without being overwhelming. The scent itself reminds me of early Michael Kors perfumes, when he was going through a tuberose obsession. It's along the same line as Gold, but creamier. Plus the phero boost means I definitely prefer this to Gold. It has the "I have expensive tastes" vibe.
  10. Oh this one is dangerous. This was my first interaction with Classy Dame as well. The scent is wonderful, of course, but the phero has been a doozy. I personally don't feel the effects of it, but everyone around me does, and it's obvious. I've worn this twice. Once on it's own for a test drive and then again with another perfume and a couple spritzes of Levitation. People flirt with me nonstop. They walk away, thinking they're done, only to turn around and come back. And it's everyone. Not just one gender, it's all of them. It's fun if you have the energy for it!
  11. This lasted forever on me. @Amandado you apply it to the topside of your arms? I've found that applying perfume oils to the topside of my arms helps them last longer. My skin eats them on the underside. It took me forever to figure out that this smells like Abuelita because I don't drink it often. But once I figured it out, I started craving it. Looks like I'll be picking up Abuelita on my next grocery run.
  12. OMG this stuff lingers forever. I wore it one day, the way I usually wear sexual pheros with 2 swipes on each arm and each thigh, and paired it with a heavy woodsy perfume because this is pure sweet honey on me. The next day, my base note heavy perfume was gone completely but SLF was still going strong. Barely any fade. I was amazed! Unfortunately, the scent itself is not something I care for and while I will use it in the future occasionally, it's not one of my preferred perfumes. If you like sweet, pure honey scents, you have to get this. It just goes on for days. Talk about a bargain! People came out of the woodwork to compliment me on how good I smelled, which I admit I was wearing multiple perfumes, but I've never had so many compliments in one day. I'm not exaggerating! I wish I was because people followed me just to stop me and tell me that they loved the way I smelled. It was a little much for me because I wasn't ready for that much attention. So if the scent is up your alley and you need some attention, get it. Get it now.
  13. This smells like a sweet incense smoke. It's almost like burning nag champa. It's very calming. I might pair this with Spike and Thorn to boost the base notes, but it is delightful on its own.
  14. I don't know about pheromones in solid perfume, but I use solid perfume pretty often and the way it works is that you rub it between your fingers until it melts and then rub it into your skin until it's completely absorbed. There shouldn't be any dry down time.
  15. Trying this on today, and it's my favourite so far. If your mom sold Avon back in the day like my mom did, you'll notice right away the similarities between this and the pink bubble bath scent. I love it for that alone, but as it dries down, the incense note becomes more noticeable and I'm addicted. I can't get over how good this is!
