Apologies for being an idiot. I've read everything, and I'm still not quite sure how this works. I hope I don't get the sphynx kitteh, but will humbly accept if yes. (Have never participated before).
Is this the process to participate in the forum sale?
I scour the website and Etsy site and make a list of what I want to buy but do NOT add anything to a cart on Etsy or the website.
Add the prices up pre-shipping to get the total.
Go through the Sale post here and choose my freebies based on spend/points.
Post a reply to the forum with what I want to reserve as freebies.
Email the list of what I want to buy and what I request as freebies.
Receive an invoice over email for everything I want to buy / get as freebies, and pay it -- all avoiding the website or Etsy.
