    Hamantaschen

Oh my, is this yummy! Wet, it smells really yeasty and foody, but when it dries, it becomes a light, sweet, buttery confection. I really love this alone, and I'm guessing it could be layered beautifully with anything floral or spicy.
  2. Yes, if I had to sum up LP White in one word, it would be "elegant."
  3. Slathering hordes...I love it!

    Dirty Sexy

Oh yes, this is the stuff! I love the combination of patchouli, amber and fruit. All of the notes were present straight away, mixing so beautifully. Very different and dead sexy. This too, is on my bottle list. (I may even forgive my skin for what it did to Phero Girl Dominance.)
  5. I also got a bottle of this unsniffed--it's gorgeous.

    Romeo and Juliet

Wow. This one was such a surprise for me. Looking at the notes, I was expecting something stronger and sharply herbal. Nooooo. it was so, so soft and warm and round. Beautiful, foody kind of (maybe the nuts and spices) but not really foody at all. The balance of the herbs and nuts is perfect, as hazelnut for sure can easily become overpowering. This is so strange and beautiful and soft. That's what I keep getting--the softness even when wet. It stays close as a skin scent, but it lasts and I really want to smell like this. I love it and I'm getting a bottle at the first opportunity even though I can't describe it for the life of me. Genius!
  7. Having built up my paypal, I ordered a monthly sample pack and a bottle of LP Winter Solstice because I know I will adore it. Now to re-build...
  8. I really like the little magical add-ins to some of the blends--very nice touch, and something I have done in the past. Some updates are really tough to wait for, but so worth it! Everyone's label art looks fantastic!
  9. SugaredLinnea, you can do it! Most people will always respond to a smile, and if you ask some questions you are bound to hit on some shared experience, preference, favorite color, book, ice cream flavor, band, constellation, artist, etc. I met my husband at a friend's party where he had set up a chess board and was playing anyone who sat across from him. So I sat down, and during the course of the game we discovered we had a lot in common. It was years before we actually became involved, but still...Games are great ice breakers!

    Summer of Sin

Yum--Just Yum. I love the beach, but only wear sunblock, so I didn't recognize the scent *blush*. I love it, though!

    Sabra's Secret

I can't really add much to May's description. The honey struck me first, and the fruits. Very rich, not overly sweet, with the Dragon's Blood, resins, and spices anchoring it beautifully. This is one I could wear year round.

    Fest of Fools

This is delightful! Wet: It is very fruity and sweet, and I'll admit I was a little hesitant because it's a bit fruitier than I usually wear. But I went ahead... On and dry: It postively bloomed as soon as it hit my skin, opening up into a spicy wassail brew. The spices weren't present in the vial, but they turn this into a fantastic holiday scent! LOVE IT.
  13. OK, Phero Girl is haunting me. It is so compelling--that's the only way I can describe it. I keep sniffing and picking out new notes. It's soft, warm and gorgeous. I am getting a bottle of this just because I'm afraid I will regret it terribly if I don't. I adore Sugared Honeycomb, but after much testing (when I woke up this morning, Phero Girl was still there!) I must have a bottle of this as well.
  14. After shaking, Phero Girl was indeed much more complex than when unshaken. It has a butterinessthat it didn't have before, as well as a slight floral note. I like it a lot more than I did (and I liked it a lot before!). But it is still quite a bit lighter (brighter) in feel than Sugared Honeycomb. Sugared Honeycomb, as others have mentioned, is deeper and richer, and it totally won my heart at first sniff.
  15. I can't believe I didn't review this, since this was my very first Love Potion! I honestly can't add much to what all of the above reviewers said except that I adore it. It's buttery, sweet, and incredibly long lasting. One thing I have consistently noticed is that when I wear it, people (men and women both) are especially nice to me. It seems to have the effect of making others feel happy, and that's always good!
  16. (Copied from the wrong place) This is the first absolutely true church incense scent I ever found. It is spot on. The Frankincense and Myrrh (they deserve capital letters) are the showstoppers. It's a little sweet, but the incense. Wow. I am getting a bottle soon judging by my behavior with the sample!

    Blessed Sacrament

I am a doofus--the review I wrote above was for Sugared Frankincense and Myrrh. Blessed Sacrament--wonderful in it's own right--smells to me like Phero Girl plus incense and bread. I actually like it better than Phero Girl, because it's a bit less sweet and a bit more grounded. When I realized my error in reviewing, I put some Sugared Frankincense and Myrrh on one wrist, and Blessed Sacrament on the other just to be sure, and the combination of the two smells even better than either separately. Is this a happy accident? Blessed Sacament is the one I got a bottle of, (abd I'm still happy I did), but now I think I'm going to need Sugared Frankincense and Myrrh.

    Blessed Sacrament

This is the first absolutely true church incense scent I ever found. It is spot on. The bread is at the fore when this is wet, and then forms a really nice base for the Frankincense and Myrrh (they deserve capital letters). The honey sweetens it a little, but the showstopper is the incense. Wow. I ordered a bottle of this duing the sale, and again, I'm so happy I did!
  19. Oh, edible goodness! Both wet and dry, this is buttery, spicy clove cookies. It's cookie heaven in a bottle. I've had in on for three hours and it's still going. It's delicious, the butter and spiciness keep it from being too sweet. This is warm, yummy, and perfect for Winter. I am thrilled to death that I ordered a bottle of this!
